Talorys report verification

Verification

The reports support a bounded, static-source account. I read every supplied report, declaration, annotation and reconciliation disposition, and independently traced the consequential behavior rather than treating the analysts' checks as verification. The four answer files are empty. The supplied structural report has no findings requiring correction. Source inspection remained at SRC-1 in the Source register; checkout HEAD matches the reviewed boundary. No target execution, test, inference request or deployment was performed.

Runtime and workflow

I traced entry dispatch, protected API middleware, conversation coordination, runner context assembly, provider callbacks, persistence and browser consumption. RT-RTE-owner-chat and RT-OBJ-active-runs correctly separate owner authentication, per-conversation in-memory coordination and durable conversation state. Provider messages are selected role/content text, not a replay of every tool result. Cancellation and retry do not undo earlier tool effects. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/index.ts, apps/agent/src/api/app.ts, apps/agent/src/api/middleware.ts, apps/agent/src/api/routes/chat.ts, apps/agent/src/auth/auth-service.ts, apps/agent/src/agent/runner.ts, apps/agent/src/ai/workers-ai.ts, apps/web/src/lib/api.ts, apps/web/src/pages/ChatPage.tsx.

For RT-RTE-action-approval, RT-OBJ-pending-actions and RT-CLM-approval-boundary, I checked the immediate/destructive dispatch split, stored payload, conditional pending-row claim, expiry, asynchronous snapshot hashing, commit and failure handling. The reports correctly restrict the invariant to registered destructive callbacks. Direct owner CRUD, ordinary writes and memory correction are counterpaths, not violations of that scoped invariant. Claim-before-commit supports one approval attempt, not crash-safe completion or transactional snapshot isolation. The workflow account preserves those limits and accurately distinguishes proposed replacement, authorized attempt and delivered mutation. Its annotations correctly identify the bounded note read, identical payload/preview, title/content/project snapshot and reachable “Done.” fallback after proposal success. These qualifications leave the effect gate supported. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/tools/registry.ts, apps/agent/src/tools/notes.ts, apps/agent/src/db/repositories/pending-actions.ts, apps/agent/src/api/routes/data.ts, apps/web/src/components/ApprovalCard.tsx; retained passages are in the cited route and workflow annotations.

I separately checked RT-RTE-scheduled-work, RT-CLM-scheduled-grants, RT-RTE-owner-changes and RT-RTE-product-update. Actual executor lookup restricts scheduled tools; notifications, metering and derived-state writes remain possible. Alarm dispatch and recovery do not establish exactly-once delivery. Backup import preserves its distinct admission fences. Build/deployment is maintainer/operator work, not a granted model tool. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/tools/registry.ts, apps/agent/src/agent/talorys-agent.ts, apps/agent/src/agent/scheduling.ts, apps/agent/src/services/backup.ts, apps/agent/src/api/routes/system.ts, packages/create-talorys/src/install.ts, packages/create-talorys/scripts/build-templates.mjs.

The three runtime component records correctly distinguish chat inference, embedding and Clef judgments from retained outputs. Their adapters expose model names and invocation controls, not pinned weight digests or training operations. The two behavioral-authority records and RT-CLM-context-authority correctly distinguish prompt policy from symbolic executor enforcement, and stored routine instructions from informational recalled text. No model compliance or provider-internal fixity is inferred. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/ai/workers-ai.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/embeddings.ts, apps/agent/src/memory/conflict.ts, apps/agent/src/agent/prompt.ts, apps/agent/src/agent/runner.ts.

Memory and epistemic findings

I checked all memory objects against their producers and later consumers: personal content and lifecycle fields, review rows/reasons, memory and item vectors, raw messages, and the separate summary. MEM-RTE-memory-write accurately describes save-before-diagnosis, immediate correction, rule-to-review conversion, Clef thresholds and owner resolution. The epistemic retention/check/disposition/lifecycle records separate those functions without attributing external truth verification to a relationship judgment. The negation example in EPI-OBJ-conflict-assessment follows from the inspected tokenizer and refinement branch; it is a static counterexample, not a supplied run. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/db/repositories/memories.ts, apps/agent/src/memory/service.ts, apps/agent/src/memory/conflict.ts, apps/agent/src/memory/lifecycle.ts, apps/agent/src/tools/memories.ts, apps/web/src/pages/MemoryPage.tsx.

For MEM-RTE-memory-recall, MEM-RTE-item-recall, MEM-RTE-requested-search and MEM-RTE-index-maintenance, I followed keyword and semantic selection, current-row reload, formatting and final budgets. The epistemic consumption, recency and excerpt records preserve the relevant distinctions. Historical withdrawal is not universal; lifecycle labels differ between search surfaces. Old same-model vectors can rank current text; conflict nomination has the stronger hash check. Newer pulls and final budgets do not guarantee successor delivery. Item delivery requires a cached query vector and has its own floors, slots and section budget. The slicing counterexample in EPI-RTE-item-delivery is supported without execution. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/agent/memory.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/recall.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/itemRecall.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/itemSearch.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/tools.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/neighbors.ts, apps/agent/src/tools/search.ts.

Index metadata and numerical payloads have different consumers. Memory hashes, item source stamps/chunks, pass guards, separate reservations, normalization, cleanup and repair support the declared mechanisms, not atomic freshness or complete erasure. I checked the write/import/configuration hooks as well as lazy readers. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/semantic/indexer.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/itemIndex.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/itemText.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/vectorStore.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/itemStore.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/embeddings.ts, apps/agent/src/semantic/routes.ts.

RT-RTE-context-window, its memory annotation and both summary-object declarations correctly trace overflow plus prior summary into automatically retained text and then later system input. The 200-message load, cutoff, truncation and unchanged history-budget estimate prevent a fidelity or hard total-token guarantee. Raw retention is not automatic full transcript reload. Generated prose and summary semantics remain indeterminate without instances; the reports do not invent an ampliative output. Evidence: SRC-1 apps/agent/src/agent/runner.ts, apps/agent/src/agent/memory.ts, apps/agent/src/db/repositories/conversations.ts, apps/agent/src/services/backup.ts.

I checked the claim records and epistemic comparison against the source text and actual consumers. EPI-CLM-current-facts preserves the reliance convention without certifying truth; EPI-CLM-history-preservation distinguishes correction from in-place edits/import. MEM-CLM-eval-scope and the two epistemic evaluation routes correctly separate scoring from report/exit disposition. The positive predicate checks the target's floor, not placement in three slots; EX-A2 supports the stated qualification. Conditional arithmetic is not an end-to-end answer oracle or causal benefit. Evidence: SRC-1 docs/memory-history.md, scripts/semantic-eval.mjs, docs/semantic-eval.md. All route statuses remain consistent with implementation inspection and unobserved operation. No evidenced-absence declaration is being used to cover an unsearched branch.

Every declared Part of: relation was checked for semantic containment. The item and recency parts belong to the semantic hook; the epistemic memory-consumption part is explicitly scoped to that hook despite discussing keyword comparison. Generated text belongs to the owner turn. The summary object is a route output, not the whole context route. Cross-kind relations have an explained containment basis.

The two amendments in reconciliation join identical summary objects and identical reported evaluation claims; they do not transfer a stronger status or erase either author's qualifications. The remaining overlapping containers and parts are not interchangeable whole referents. I checked every integration issue and the workflow's fallback qualification against the connected findings. No unresolved cross-report contradiction remains: requested historical access, freshness, cleanup uncertainty and instruction force are consistently scoped. There are no missing correction-answer dispositions.

Omission questions were selected from the frozen top-level tree and producer/consumer dependencies, not just quote anchors: could direct owner/import writes bypass the model approval account; could alternate searches defeat lifecycle withdrawal; could lazy indexing or final formatting change what reaches the provider; could alarm branches or deployment machinery undermine the selected workflow or epistemic conclusion? The counterpaths are represented and qualified in the cited records. I also inspected the deterministic reminder/digest branches and the cached update lookup, SRC-1 apps/agent/src/agent/talorys-agent.ts and apps/agent/src/services/update-check.ts. They do not establish a second autonomous product-update path or evidence-consuming acceptance of personal assertions. The epistemic report explicitly leaves digest details outside its independently assessed inventory and rejects a system-complete negative about all derivation; that scope remains faithful.

Further optional expansion stopped because the selected challenges have supported dispositions and no identified material contradiction is left unresolved. The reports are not an exhaustive inventory of every deterministic computation, test or dependency. Their remaining uninspected alternatives prevent exhaustive route comparisons, not the bounded mechanisms they actually assert. Missing traces, deployment settings, provider internals and causal comparisons remain alongside the affected claims; they are not converted into absence, observed benefit or a universal learning verdict.
