Tardigrade report verification

Verification
The five supplied members support a bounded implementation-grounded account. I reviewed every declaration, annotation, status, source anchor, containment relation and reconciliation amendment for meaning, rather than treating quotation validation or analyst checks as acceptance. The supplied structural report has no findings; all four correction-answer files are empty. There is no supplied refusal to carry forward. The frozen checkout HEAD matches the boundary, and its working tree is clean. No target code, tests, provider, deployment or optimization procedure was executed.
Runtime and delivery
I independently followed the shipped Bun driver through actor composition, message admission, inference, tool execution, durable inference reduction and terminal method projection. SRC-1, packages/examples/bun.ts, packages/examples/agents/meeseeks.ts, packages/examples/services.ts, packages/agent/src/actor/methods.ts, packages/agent/src/atoms/infer.ts, packages/agent/src/atoms/durable/inference.ts and packages/agent/src/services/tools.ts, support RT-RTE-bun-message and the workflow account. The default greeting does not demonstrate tool use. Outstanding calls require continuation; a tool-free answer and valid settlement precede delivery. Unknown tools return errors, whereas a rejected generation can end in failure. Cancellation drains accepted work; neither cancellation nor delivery establishes external-effect rollback or answer truth.
The standard model adapter's actual input construction, continuation matching, output decoding and runtime-owned tool resolution support RT-CMP-model and RT-BAP-model-instructions. SRC-1, packages/agent/src/services/model.ts and packages/model/src/lock.ts, do not pin served weights or demonstrate parameter updates. Conditional HTTP authorization and asynchronous invocation references agree with SRC-1, packages/platform/src/shared/method-http.ts; those controls are not attributed to in-process methods.
The permission wrapper replaces ordinary tool proposals only when composed; an unconfigured budget passes through. Current code-mode RPC instead uses independently recorded package acts and ordinal replay checks. SRC-1, packages/agent/src/agent.ts, packages/agent/src/atoms/tools.ts, packages/agent/src/atoms/permission-request.ts, packages/agent/src/services/code-mode.ts, packages/platform/src/bun/isolate.ts, platform/bun/src/sandbox.ts and packages/platform/src/cloudflare/isolate.ts, support the scoped findings in RT-OBJ-permission-policy, RT-RTE-governed-tools and RT-RTE-code-execution. No universal human approval, permission gate or OS isolation guarantee is asserted or established.
The request-before-dispatch trace, persistence-failure latch, SQL transaction and checkpoint/suffix recovery support RT-OBJ-journal and RT-CLM-request-before-execution. I traced SRC-1, packages/core/src/runtime/execution.ts and packages/platform/src/shared/sql-journal.ts, including local producer recreation. The report correctly withholds exactly-once external effects. The separate older host's log-derived invocation/result path and legacy model executor support RT-RTE-legacy-server, without importing atom guarantees: SRC-1, platform/bun/src/create-host.ts, apps/server/src/actor.ts and packages/deprecated/agent/src/model/execution/index.ts.
Retained parts and epistemic force
I checked conversation projection, compaction state, summary text, opaque continuations, stored files, effect checkpoints, both workspace forms and legacy summary checkpoints against their distinct consumers. SRC-1, packages/agent/src/atoms/durable/trajectory.ts, packages/agent/src/atoms/durable/compaction.ts, packages/agent/src/atoms/compact.ts, packages/model/src/object/storage.ts, packages/core/src/services/checkpoint.ts, packages/deprecated/agent/src/model/execution/continuation.ts and packages/deprecated/agent/src/component/compact/context.ts, support the memory objects. A projected conversation, a semantic summary and an encoded recovery checkpoint are not interchangeable. Continuation and checkpoint containment in the journal is sound; separately stored attachment bytes need not be embedded there.
The current summary selector clips user/tool text, retains a boundary-valid suffix and supplies the summary as user-role text. Assistant messages are not clipped by that renderer. Pending tool pairs or missing boundaries defeat a universal size guarantee. Summary adoption checks matching work and nonempty text, not fidelity. Legacy summarization separately rejects tool-call parts and unacceptable completion, and resolves attachments. These findings support MEM-RTE-atom-compaction, MEM-RTE-content-replay, MEM-RTE-legacy-compaction and EPI-CLM-preserve-facts. I checked SRC-1, packages/deprecated/agent/src/component/compact/index.ts, packages/deprecated/agent/src/component/compact/model.ts, packages/deprecated/agent/src/projection/transcript.ts and packages/deprecated/agent/src/projection/messages.ts: repair-history filtering precedes later rendering and summary selection, but does not prove rejected assertions false or delete raw events.
Named text writes and bounded keyed reads are supported by SRC-1, packages/libraries/src/workspace.ts. Legacy spill retention, preview/ref delivery and requested slicing/search are supported by SRC-1, packages/code/src/storage/store.ts, packages/code/src/execution/code.ts, packages/code/src/package/workspace.ts and platform/bun/src/workspace.ts. These support the respective workspace objects and MEM-RTE-text-workspace and MEM-RTE-spill-readback, not universal durable storage or semantic curation. Fresh-state codec admission and checkpoint seed precedence support MEM-RTE-state-adoption: SRC-1, packages/core/src/runtime/initialisation.ts, packages/core/src/initialise.ts and packages/core/src/services/journal/thread.ts. Conversion truth remains caller-specific. The protocol-selecting CLI supports MEM-RTE-event-inspection, not automatic model reload: SRC-1, apps/cli/src/client.ts and apps/cli/src/commands.ts.
The epistemic inventory and ledger preserve distinct transformation, checking, disposition, retention and consumption functions. SRC-1, packages/libraries/src/fetch.ts and packages/libraries/src/arxiv.ts, support resource acquisition and source metadata, not source warrant. Current schema rejection/correction and legacy completion/typed reread support EPI-RTE-response-check and EPI-RTE-legacy-output: SRC-1, packages/agent/src/services/model.ts, packages/agent/src/atoms/infer.ts, packages/deprecated/agent/src/component/infer/machine.ts, packages/deprecated/agent/src/component/repair.ts and packages/deprecated/agent/src/output/boundary.ts. Their checks have operational force without a general factual license. The report's indeterminate semantic classifications for unsupplied generated content are warranted; absence of a concrete content pair does not establish either entailment or conjecture.
Change routes and reconciliation
I checked build replacement, dynamic imports and server push against RT-OBJ-actor-artifact, RT-RTE-artifact-admission and RT-BAP-executable-actor: SRC-1, apps/cli/src/build.ts and apps/server/src/host.ts. Byte/shape admission is not behavioral validation; build restoration is not a demonstrated server-runtime rollback. Installed hooks and aggregate process exit support EPI-RTE-repository-gate, with installation/bypass uncertainty intact: SRC-1, tools/gate.ts, .githooks/pre-commit and .githooks/pre-push.
The NPO and GEPA texts support prescribed evaluation, lineage and promotion, not an exercised optimizer. SRC-1, skills/tardigrade/references/npo.md and skills/tardigrade/references/gepa.md, support RT-RTE-optimization-guidance and EPI-CLM-evaluation-promotion. Conditional theory-builder assessments remain separate from learning, reflection, autonomy and exercised self-improvement. No supplied candidate or causal chain closes the missing links.
All three reconciliation amendments identify the same source-native workspace object, workspace route or current compaction route; they do not substitute evidence strengths. Summary text is a valid part alongside the larger compaction-state container, not an identical object requiring supersession. The response-check and legacy-output parts belong to their respective invocation routes. Other reusable consumers span or elaborate routes without replacing them. Workflow annotations introduce no duplicate declarations. The six memory integration issues have explicit, compatible dispositions. I found no unresolved cross-report conflict requiring a conflict paragraph or correction.
Consequential omission searches and stopping decision
The frozen top-level tree and producer/consumer dependencies guided three additional questions: whether reload pointers have real consumers, whether spill producers extend beyond final code returns, and whether shipped legacy callers use a different delegation/checking route. These questions could change context-recovery and control comparisons, unlike an indiscriminate inventory of files.
For spilling, SRC-1, packages/code/src/package/calls.ts, adds a package-return writer to the final-code writer already described in MEM-RTE-spill-readback. It stores full JSON before emitting a pointer:
yield* Effect.orDie(spill(key, json)) return [packageReturned({ ...stamp, ...spillPointer(key, json.length, json.slice(0, spillPolicy.previewChars), spillPolicy.note), at })] ---
packages/code/src/package/calls.ts
This confirms a further producer of the same raw spill mechanism, not a different semantic memory or a contradiction of the explicitly partial producer inventory. The missing-bytes branch returns the recorded result field, not an automatic reconstruction from preview; the reports do not establish reliable retrieval after backend loss.
For alternate callers, SRC-1, examples/rlm/actor.ts, examples/react-rlm-chat/server/actor.ts and packages/deprecated/agent/src/packages/agents.ts, show legacy delegation beyond the current library record. Its child output can be decoded against a supplied contract:
const decoded = decodeOutput(contract, state.output) ---
packages/deprecated/agent/src/packages/agents.ts
This reinforces the reports' generation separation and local, rather than universal, evaluator conclusions. Current child delegation in RT-RTE-child-invocation remains supported by SRC-1, packages/libraries/src/agents.ts and packages/core/src/runtime/actors.ts. Cloudflare factory/journal inspection at SRC-1, packages/platform/src/cloudflare/index.ts, confirms shipped hosting responsibilities, not Bun parity or observed durability.
Further optional omission expansion stopped because these selected questions have positive or limited dispositions, no identified challenge invalidates the central current/legacy account, and the reports already withhold universal coverage and operational benefit. Full legacy child internals, Cloudflare scheduling, arbitrary custom evaluators and formal-model soundness remain unassessed; they cannot support system-complete negative comparisons.

Limits
- MEM-RTE-event-inspection and RT-RTE-legacy-server: the legacy renderer advertises
logs.events, but the inspected built-in assembly does not establish that model-facing consumer. SRC-1,packages/deprecated/agent/src/projection/messages.ts,apps/server/src/actor.tsandapps/cli/src/client.ts, support operator inspection separately. Withhold universal reloadability of truncated messages; retain the positive CLI, workspace and file-resolution routes. - RT-RTE-child-invocation, RT-RTE-legacy-server and the epistemic coverage boundary: the detailed child record covers the current library, not the legacy delegation implementation used by shipped examples. SRC-1,
packages/deprecated/agent/src/packages/agents.ts, additionally implements inherited depth ceilings, child model-policy selection and optional output-contract decoding. This local inventory omission does not invalidate current delegation or contract-conformance findings, but cross-generation delegation, inherited-control and evaluator inventories remain incomplete. Do not infer absent legacy controls from the current record's unestablished universal guarantees. - MEM-RTE-spill-readback and MEM-OBJ-spill-values: the reports establish retained full values plus bounded read-back, not complete producer/binding coverage or guaranteed recovery after spill-storage loss. SRC-1,
packages/code/src/package/calls.ts, supplies the additional package-return writer above; SRC-1,packages/code/src/execution/code.ts, falls back to the recordedresultfield when hydration is unavailable, which need not contain a preview or full value in pointer-only returns. Withhold loss-tolerant reconstruction and exhaustive cross-host spill comparisons; ordinary available-backend slicing and replay hydration remain supported.
