Evidence manifest
These files are the workshop's primary deliverable. They freeze the state available on 2026-08-18 before the live target note is revised. Do not synchronize the snapshots with later source changes. Later analysis should distinguish this preserved evidence from interpretations added after capture.
- Reflective self-improvement — the exact article version whose occurrence, revision-surface, and compounding distinctions frame the analysis
- Original session output: Natural-language theories carry warrant claim by claim and scope by scope — the complete 71-line pre-restructure note produced by this session and the primary object of attribution; SHA-256 of the copied content after its two-line provenance preamble:
16651a290489c95a3e720441dd96d5f4193aa3ce988c47ccd57855ef85644b80 - Agent context is constrained by soft degradation, not hard token limits — the exact counterexample selected by the human and then used as the worked case
- Defazio source — the exact external trigger that prompted the mathematics/predictive-power question
- Defazio ingest — the agent-produced interpretation of that source before the epistemological discussion
- Discovery index — the exact navigation surface changed when the note was retained
- Session and process record — exact human prompts and the recoverable record of agent interpretation, synthesis, audit, and acceptance
- Restructure session record — second episode (the atomic restructure), captured contemporaneously in the performing session; a record, not a frozen snapshot
- Gate-fold episode record — third episode (epistemology folded into the
unwarranted-scopeandepistemic-status-blurgates), captured contemporaneously with pipeline and historical-A/B validation results
Each artifact snapshot contains a two-line provenance preamble followed by the source file's complete content as it stood at capture time. Relative links inside snapshots retain their source spelling and are evidence, not workshop navigation links.
The live target note is not the preservation authority for the original session output. On 2026-08-18, after another session restructured it into a 43-line atomic note, its SHA-256 was 2eec9489340a5bcc68135b1124eaddb9da08a08b881b690dcd8d15bd7f8c71b2. The different length, content, and checksum confirm that the workshop file still holds the earlier version rather than a synchronized copy of the rewrite. That observed hash was an intermediate, uncommitted draft; the restructure session's later flow-and-lists pass produced the version accepted and committed as 4f51fc6d (SHA-256 a2e1a05f1a4a9770911f2e68ec6ecaccdfd715c58f8863c4712e51c128ceabf6). The full chain is in the restructure session record.
