Agent S report verification

Verification
The reports support a bounded implementation account. No material blocker was found. One local omission limits the completeness of the epistemic overlay, as recorded below. The supplied structural check reports none; all four correction-answer files are empty. There is no correction or declined objection to adjudicate.
I independently traced source behavior before judging the report wording. The checkout HEAD equals the reviewed revision, and its working tree is clean. I enumerated its tracked top-level tree and functional subtrees, then followed entry points, effect boundaries, retained-state producers and later consumers. All additional inspection is SRC-1 implementation or shipped doctrine/design under the Source register. No target code, tests, examples, service requests or desktop sessions were executed. This verification does not turn implementation into observed operation or reported benchmark results into experiments.
Runtime, effects and delivery
RT-RTE-desktop-loop, RT-RTE-action-check and RT-RTE-code-delegation match the inspected call order. SRC-1: setup.py, gui_agents/s3/cli_app.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/agent_s.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/worker.py, gui_agents/s3/utils/common_utils.py, gui_agents/s3/utils/formatters.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/grounding.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/code_agent.py, gui_agents/s3/utils/local_env.py. The formatter invokes live evaluation even when another formatter rejects the response. The worker evaluates the selected response again. Thus notes and synchronous coding effects can precede outer execution and can repeat; the reports correctly avoid asserting a fixed repetition count. Exhausted formatting returns the last response, not a fail-closed rejection. Local coding opt-in is not per-script approval, and the Python controller call has no timeout argument.
RT-OBJ-procedural-memory, RT-CLM-gui-verification, RT-BAP-worker-policy and RT-BAP-code-return preserve the distinction between instructions, delivery and enforcement. SRC-1: gui_agents/s3/memory/procedural_memory.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/worker.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/grounding.py. The final methods do not inspect a verification history. CLI done/fail share terminal handling, and the permission helper is not called by the execution branch. The workflow account and annotations faithfully trace the connected opt-in coding branch: selected task/screenshot handoff, fresh coding context, controller feedback, normal FAIL/budget return, reduced outer return, possible GUI recovery and unverified termination. The account does not join historical planning or offline judging onto this workflow.
RT-RTE-openclaw-bridge and RT-RTE-osworld-driver retain caller-specific controls. SRC-1: integrations/openclaw/agent_s_wrapper.py, gui_agents/s3/cli_app.py, osworld_setup/s3/run.py, osworld_setup/s3/lib_run_single.py. Wrapper success tests process exit, its step argument configures history, and omission of the reflection flag does not negate the CLI default. OSWorld supplies a controller and executes returned actions through the environment; its evaluator's internals remain external. The reports do not attribute a correctness certificate or deployed isolation guarantee to either caller.
RT-CMP-lmm-agent, RT-CMP-grounding-model and RT-CMP-embedding-engine are supported as service-backed model components, separate from local wrappers and cached vectors. SRC-1: gui_agents/s3/core/mllm.py, gui_agents/s3/core/engine.py, gui_agents/s2/core/engine.py. Their version/fixity qualifications are appropriate: configured names and the grounding adapter's fixed service label do not authenticate weights; the inspected calls are generation/embedding calls, not parameter updates. Remote internal behavior remains uninspected.
Retention, selection and context
RT-RTE-historical-experience, RT-RTE-kb-bootstrap and MEM-RTE-s1-experience correctly distinguish generations and admission mechanisms. SRC-1: gui_agents/s1/core/AgentS.py, gui_agents/s1/cli_app.py, gui_agents/s2/agents/agent_s.py, gui_agents/s2/cli_app.py, gui_agents/utils.py. I checked S1 queue advancement versus S2 replanning, initial download triggers, new-key summary admission and terminal CLI ordering. Narrative admission precedes accumulation of the terminal turn; wait/next skip accumulation; no final pending-episode flush follows from those branches. The memory qualification of S1 automatic bootstrap does not contradict the runtime's S2 constructor account.
MEM-OBJ-narrative-memory, MEM-OBJ-episodic-memory, MEM-OBJ-embeddings and MEM-RTE-experience-retrieval preserve content/access distinctions and actual downstream transformations. SRC-1: gui_agents/s1/core/Knowledge.py, gui_agents/s1/core/Manager.py, gui_agents/s1/core/Worker.py, gui_agents/s2/core/knowledge.py, gui_agents/s2/agents/manager.py, gui_agents/s2/agents/worker.py, gui_agents/s2/utils/common_utils.py. Similarity selects one stored value, exact-top skipping can fail for a singleton, and empty-store sentinel strings can reach guidance. S2 edits retrieved recipes before delivery. Summary prompts request correct steps or failure explanations; they do not establish truthful summaries or reason-preserving criticism.
MEM-OBJ-formulate-query, MEM-OBJ-rag-knowledge, MEM-RTE-query-cache and MEM-RTE-knowledge-save also withstand inspection. SRC-1: gui_agents/s1/core/Knowledge.py, gui_agents/s2/core/knowledge.py, gui_agents/s2/agents/manager.py. Query/search cache hits use exact task strings rather than changed observations. The S2 tuple return enters model fusion as rendered content. Searches across shipped agents, benchmark drivers and integrations found no external lifecycle caller of the alternative save/finalize API. Its afforded status must remain separate from wired CLI writes and wired downstream retrieval; its save flag cannot be generalized to cache writes.
MEM-OBJ-notes and MEM-RTE-notes-delivery correctly describe an instance-owned buffer, not a disk bank. MEM-OBJ-code-result correctly describes the reduced coding return. SRC-1: gui_agents/s3/agents/grounding.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/worker.py, gui_agents/s3/agents/code_agent.py. Worker replacement reuses ACI; full notes are pushed without ranking. Code history stores actions/thoughts, while controller feedback enters only the coding dialogue directly. Summary construction does not receive that full feedback, and the outer worker renders actions without separately rendering stored thoughts. The memory annotations correctly distinguish this retained return from ordinary reflection and image eviction. I also checked historical context controls in SRC-1: gui_agents/s1/core/Worker.py, gui_agents/s2/agents/worker.py, gui_agents/s2_5/agents/worker.py. S1 history rewriting, S2 turn removal and S2.5/S3 engine-dependent pruning are not one uniform compaction policy.
Epistemic routes and offline consumers
EPI-OBJ-screen-evidence, EPI-OBJ-ocr-table and EPI-RTE-text-grounding match SRC-1: gui_agents/s3/agents/grounding.py. The numerical-token examples follow the cleanup regex, and the no-digit branch selects index zero rather than rejecting. These are static deductions, not executed observations. Geometry remains conditional on recognition/selection; the remaining screenshot is acknowledged rather than treated as absent evidence.
EPI-OBJ-trajectory-reflection, EPI-RTE-trajectory-reflection, EPI-OBJ-notes, EPI-RTE-notes-buffer, EPI-OBJ-code-summary and EPI-OBJ-experience-summary preserve candidate judgments, retention and advisory use without promoting them to factual acceptance. Their source anchors and retained passages agree with the worker, grounding, coding and historical updater reads above. The comma-join example correctly demonstrates loss of item boundaries. The experience grouping is coarse, but the memory objects and enclosing runtime route preserve distinct task/subtask consumers; it does not establish a common oracle. Indeterminate summary semantics are justified without generated instances. Independent reflection, learning, theory-building and self-improvement conclusions are not bundled into a system-wide absence claim.
RT-RTE-rollout-selection, MEM-OBJ-traj, MEM-OBJ-fact-captions, MEM-OBJ-judge-results, EPI-OBJ-fact-caption and EPI-OBJ-judge-choice accurately separate raw trace, derived description and mechanical selection/resume state. SRC-1: osworld_setup/s3/lib_run_single.py, osworld_setup/s3/bbon/generate_facts.py, osworld_setup/s3/bbon/run_judge.py, osworld_setup/s3/bbon/utils.py, gui_agents/s3/bbon/behavior_narrator.py, gui_agents/s3/bbon/comparative_judge.py. I traced adjacent screenshot/action selection, exception omission, file-presence suppression, answer-only loading, endpoint-image construction, integer/range selection and saved-choice scoring. The judge's own final-image helper differs from the unused validity/fallback helper. Fixed terminal captions report a signal, not task success. Selection uses task-fit criteria but does not certify every caption; saved choices are not installed online policies.
EPI-CLM-knowledge-bank, EPI-CLM-fact-accuracy and EPI-CLM-bbon-performance retain the appropriate claim layers. SRC-1: gui_agents/s3/agents/grounding.py, gui_agents/s3/memory/procedural_memory.py, README.md. Task reuse does not promise cross-session storage. Narrator evidence instructions and judge endpoint images are genuine checking opportunities, but not semantic caption certification. Public figures are attributed reports, not supplied trials or independent causal evidence.
Relations, conflicts and omission stopping decision
I checked every declared Part-of relation against the traced container. Desktop evidence, OCR, reflection and S3 notes are material parts/subroutes of the installed desktop path; code result/summary belong to coding delegation; S2 experience belongs to its historical route; persisted trajectory belongs to the benchmark driver; captions and judgment belong to offline comparison. Cross-kind containment is functional, not record-kind equality. The cross-generation memory objects are not wholly contained by an S3-only or S2-only route.
The two amendments in reconciliation are supported: the caption records identify the same retained answer/thought artifact, and the judgment records identify the same answer/thought/selected-directory artifact. Added resume/scoring consumers do not create new object identities. The narrower code summary is not the whole cached return; cross-generation notes and experience are not exact replacements for S3/S2-only parts. Both supersessions preserve the epistemic findings rather than transferring statuses. I checked all integration-issue dispositions against these distinctions. No unresolved cross-report contradiction, missing conflict citation or unsupported supersession remains. The coarse experience container does not erase its separately recorded parts.
Selected omission questions came from the tracked tree and producer/consumer dependencies, not only supplied quotations: whether historical CLI persistence had been mistaken for benchmark logging; whether the alternative save lifecycle repaired CLI finalization; whether worker reset cleared ACI state; whether provider aliases changed the inference boundary; and whether caption production, resume or scoring installed a live successor policy. Searches and source traces above support the reports' bounded answers. The separate local and queued S3 benchmark callers remain shipped responsibilities, not external merely because they call an API. SRC-1: osworld_setup/s3/run_local.py, osworld_setup/s3/run.py, gui_agents/s3/core/mllm.py.
The remaining local omission is the epistemic overlay's lack of query/search/fusion coverage despite the memory report's positive mechanism records. Its consequence is retained below, not converted into absence. Further optional expansion stopped because selected challenges have supported dispositions, no identified challenge to the central implementation account remains unresolved, and the reports already withhold exhaustive historical epistemic negatives. Uninspected platform-specific transformations and unavailable services/assets cannot support complete route comparisons, realized success, caption truth, hidden model learning or causal benefit. Their uncertainty does not invalidate the positive caller/update/consumer chains.

Limits
- The epistemic overlay does not separately inventory or assess the historical query-generation, cached search and model-fusion chain established by MEM-RTE-query-cache, MEM-OBJ-formulate-query and MEM-OBJ-rag-knowledge. See the selected families in the epistemic coverage account. SRC-1:
gui_agents/s1/core/Knowledge.py,gui_agents/s2/core/knowledge.py,gui_agents/s2/agents/manager.py. These mechanisms can supply or reshape planning content in addition to trace summaries. The retained memory account supports their existence and advisory consumer wiring, so the central account remains valid; readers must withhold a complete epistemic-route inventory or route-by-route warrant comparison for historical Agent S. This omission is not evidence that those routes lack truth-apt content, acceptance or other epistemic functions.
