Verification

The reports support a bounded implementation account, with the limits below. I read all supplied members, their types and the record contract. Correction-answer files are empty; report-check reports no structural failures. I independently inspected source under SRC-1 and rechecked checkout HEAD against the boundary pin. The partial-loop boundary remains appropriate. No target execution or dependency inspection was performed. Quotation occurrence and deterministic form are left to code; the judgments here concern support, conditions and consequences.

Runtime and workflow

RT-CMP-cli-model and RT-CMP-api-model correctly separate opaque model state from application configuration. Optional model strings and configurable endpoints do not establish immutable versions or application weight updates. Dispatch, request and prompt construction support RT-OBJ-stream-request, RT-OBJ-agent-prompt and RT-BAP-prompt-policy. Their delivery does not establish obedience. Independent basis: SRC-1, src-tauri/src/ai_agents.rs, src-tauri/src/ai_models.rs, src/utils/ai-agent.ts, src/lib/aiAgentConversation.ts and the frontend streaming helpers.

RT-RTE-workspace-send is supported by the frontend admission/history builder, native dispatch, Codex configuration, shared subprocess runner and callbacks. The app supplies an assignment and receives normalized events; the external agent owns tool decisions. Workflow correctly labels read followed by guarded update as an available branch, not mandatory sequencing or observed success. Codex configuration actually connects this caller to the bundled MCP service. Tool-result errors and terminal stream failure have separate consumers; completion can leave a failed action in a finalized response. Pending-action finalization is not outcome verification. SRC-1, src/lib/aiAgentSession.ts, src/lib/aiAgentStreamCallbacks.ts, src/utils/streamAiAgent.ts, src-tauri/src/codex_cli.rs and src-tauri/src/cli_agent_runtime.rs support these dispositions.

RT-RTE-provider-create is supported through frontend API selection, OpenAI-compatible payload construction, returned-call execution and exclusive native creation. Tool advertising is conditional; Anthropic uses a separate payload. Calls execute sequentially without a second provider request or batch rollback in this path. RT-CLM-direct-chat preserves a real documentation mismatch, not a disagreement among analysts. RT-RTE-mcp-write separately supports create, replacement and append. RT-BAP-tool-executor appropriately denotes executable authority rather than content endorsement. SRC-1, src-tauri/src/ai_model_tools.rs, src-tauri/src/commands/vault/file_cmds.rs, src-tauri/src/commands/vault/boundary.rs, src-tauri/src/vault/file.rs, mcp-server/index.js, mcp-server/tool-service.js and mcp-server/vault.js support these chains. Exclusive creation, canonical-path checks and optional mtime comparison have the scoped strengths reported, not universal transactional or isolation guarantees.

RT-RTE-pi-extension is supported by SRC-1, src-tauri/src/pi_config.rs and src-tauri/src/pi_config/package_args.rs: configuration ignores permission mode, settings influence adapter injection, and the injected package is unversioned. This supports withholding universal no-shell enforcement, not asserting which external tools actually ran. Stop distinctions also hold: SRC-1, src-tauri/src/ai_agent_processes.rs, src-tauri/src/commands/ai.rs and src/utils/streamAiModel.ts distinguish child cancellation from direct-provider requests and callback suppression. The shared child mutex limits the claimed guarantee; it does not establish failed cancellation in a particular run.

Memory and epistemic findings

MEM-OBJ-workspace-sessions and MEM-RTE-transcript-replay correctly extend the runtime's native-storage inspection. Whole-file JSON save, empty/error load handling, store-version checks, cross-window cache publication and debounced writes are supported by SRC-1, src-tauri/src/settings.rs, src/lib/aiWorkspaceSessionStore.ts and src/lib/crossWindowPersistedStore.ts. They establish implemented retention, not crash durability. The replay route's Part of relation to workspace send is valid. History conversion excludes stored reasoning/actions/reference bodies and keeps a newest-fitting suffix; it does not derive a lesson or summary.

MEM-RTE-reference-context is also a valid part of workspace send. SRC-1, src/utils/ai-reference-content.ts, src/utils/ai-context.ts and src/components/useAiPanelContextSnapshot.ts support supplied-content bypass, disk hydration, body extraction and head/tail omission. These budgets do not bound the combined request. The report explicitly withholds complete active-panel wiring rather than asserting absent context delivery.

MEM-OBJ-vault-notes, MEM-RTE-mcp-read and MEM-BAP-retained-context are supported by the service, filesystem readers and guidance delivery. EPI-OBJ-read-result, EPI-OBJ-search-result, EPI-RTE-note-read and EPI-RTE-note-search correctly distinguish transient delivery products from stored files. I checked fallback parsing, trimming, substring matching, snippet boundaries, per-root order and global result caps in SRC-1, mcp-server/vault.js and mcp-server/tool-service.js. The worked snippet example is a code deduction, not a run. Acquisition and excerpt reshaping add no factual warrant; the report retains possible qualification loss.

EPI-RTE-mtime-check is a valid Part of relation to MCP writes. Stat equality licenses continuation only; omission bypasses the comparison, and a later edit can intervene. RT-RTE-guidance-sync is supported by SRC-1, src-tauri/src/vault/config_seed.rs and the template in src-tauri/src/vault/getting_started.rs. Replacement recognition, custom-content preservation and legacy removal are not semantic evaluation. The report does not promise lossless migration. MCP root and legacy guidance delivery are separate consumers, supported by mcp-server/agent-instructions.js and mcp-server/vault.js.

MEM-RTE-note-withdrawal correctly identifies permanent deletion in SRC-1, src-tauri/src/vault/trash.rs, behind native validation. Removal does not revoke copied context. EPI-RTE-vault-register correctly identifies registry persistence and session-root expansion, with final-clone rollback unestablished after registry failure, in mcp-server/vault-lifecycle.js and mcp-server/tool-service.js. EPI-OBJ-organized-flag and EPI-RTE-organized-toggle are workflow state, not factual acceptance: SRC-1, src/hooks/useEntryActions.ts and src/hooks/useInboxOrganizeAdvance.ts consume persistence outcome and focus conditions rather than claim evidence. EPI-CLM-types-lenses is a scoped navigation-design claim; the reported write checks do not establish epistemic type approval.

The epistemic ledger keeps checking, admission and retention separate. Model-edge entailment remains indeterminate without candidate instances; operational reuse is not acceptance-followed integration. All route declarations' wired implementation and uninspected operation statuses are consistent with the evidence. No evidenced-absence record or system-complete negative is asserted.

The reconciliation correctly supersedes EPI-OBJ-note-content by the memory note object: both refer to the retained filesystem content. Both declarations remain available. Parsed and excerpted results remain distinct. Transcript replay, references and mtime checking have supported containment; the two narrower epistemic MCP reads do not supersede the larger memory read container. Policy and mutable-context authority overlap in delivery but differ in referent. The memory integration issues are all disposed as added inspection, distinct mechanisms or retained uncertainty. No unresolved inter-report contradiction or missing conflict disposition was found.

Selected omission questions came from the tracked top-level tree and producer/consumer dependencies, not just quoted anchors. I checked whether context helpers hide automatic summary learning, whether additional admission checks could undermine the epistemic conclusion, and whether retained state extends beyond Markdown and transcripts. Searches across application AI helpers, server collaboration and shared packages exposed collaboration document checks and checkpoints. SRC-1, apps/server/src/collab/room.ts tries peer updates against a supplied check; apps/server/src/collab/noteSession.ts supplies the codec violation check and reloads snapshots. This does not establish factual acceptance or model learning. Native validate_note_content delegates file-content matching, not proposition evaluation (src-tauri/src/commands/vault/file_cmds.rs). These alternatives leave the inspected executors' conclusions valid but prevent a complete admission or retention inventory.

The collaborative checkpoint is concretely more than a displayed Markdown summary:

await this.services.snapshots.save(this.docId, { state: Y.encodeStateAsUpdate(this.doc), base: { markdown, revision } }) --- apps/server/src/collab/noteSession.ts

SRC-1, apps/server/src/collab/snapshots.ts stores binary state and a versioned Markdown/revision base separately; the session opening path reloads the state. This resolves existence, not complete consistency or recovery. Further omission expansion stopped because these alternatives already have explicit partial-coverage dispositions, no emitted whole-system value depends on excluding them, and no identified material challenge remains undisposed. Broader evaluator, editor, collaboration and adapter auditing would expand the inventory rather than repair a consequential claim in this bounded account.

Limits

  • The retention inventory is partial. MEM-OBJ-vault-notes, MEM-OBJ-workspace-sessions and memory integration issues support desktop note/transcript mechanisms, not an exhaustive storage ontology. The collaborative Yjs state plus Markdown/revision checkpoint and its reload consumer are additional shipped mechanisms, supported by SRC-1, apps/server/src/collab/snapshots.ts and apps/server/src/collab/noteSession.ts. Their complete write, reconcile, failure and later-use chain is not verified here. Readers must withhold complete cross-client retention, checkpoint and recovery comparisons; the positive desktop findings remain supported.
  • Admission and authority comparisons remain route-specific. RT-RTE-workspace-send, RT-RTE-pi-extension, MEM-RTE-note-withdrawal and epistemic coverage do not cover every adapter, editor confirmation, symbolic metadata consumer or cache/Git reconciliation path. The collaboration check is another admission surface, not evidence of factual acceptance. Readers must withhold universal enforcement, complete human-control coverage and global revocation conclusions. Scoped write admission, interpretation and permanent path removal remain supported; no system-wide absence follows.
