Verification
The pinned runtime, memory, epistemic, workflow and reconciliation members support a bounded code-grounded account. I independently traced the consequential source paths rather than treating the analysts' checks as verification. The supplied structural report says none; the four correction-answer files are empty. There are no structural failures to route or correction arguments to adjudicate.
Evidence and runtime
The source checkout HEAD equals the revision in boundary, and its working tree is clean. The tracked tree agrees with the boundary inventory. Inspection used SRC-1, implementation and doctrine/design only: package.json, complete index.ts, runtime.ts and tui.tsx; bundled start/end prompts; README.md; protocol sections on durable sources, pages/index, lifecycle, failure and security; Python templates, workspace/path/state handling, installation, locking, page enumeration, parsing, migration, rendering, health aggregation, writers/readers and launcher dispatch; and the shipped test definitions. No target code or tests were executed. Source occurrences and statuses were considered for every declaration; none supplies observed operation or causal support. Deterministic citation and quotation-form checks remain code's responsibility.
The five runtime routes are supported with their stated conditions:
- RT-RTE-context-restore: start regenerates the index, selects reverse-lexically ordered daily paths and emits their full contents. Search independently returns literal page-line matches with result and display caps. The reports correctly distinguish file-count bounds from token bounds and returned snippets from complete-page reads.
- RT-RTE-page-upsert, RT-RTE-daily-append and RT-RTE-session-save: payload parsing, page preflight and prospective rendering precede the relevant writes; append has a weaker nonempty-text gate. Separate replacements do not provide a multi-file transaction. The engine does not evaluate the factual assertions.
- RT-RTE-runtime-install: recognized engine/protocol metadata controls delegation; compatible newer code can run. The valid-marker/missing-runtime branch really can install before an ordinary command. Inspection commands fall back without installation, while hydrate explicitly refuses a missing runtime. These countercases support the report's narrower account rather than the bridge comment's universal lifecycle-only wording.
The session map and post-success deletion support RT-CLM-explicit-save only as a path-local gate. Neither concurrent calls nor caller-supplied CLI confirmation establish authenticated human approval or exactly-once execution. Python's stale-lock removal and per-file replacement support the runtime's best-effort serialization and partial-failure qualifications, not stronger guarantees. SRC-1, index.ts, runtime.ts, scripts/echoes_vault.py.
The component and authority distinctions hold: RT-CMP-host-model leaves provider identity and mutability uninspected; RT-CMP-echoes-vault identifies executable symbolic code, not a model. RT-OBJ-agent-protocol and RT-BAP-agent-guidance concern generated instructions; RT-BAP-project-context concerns interpreted project text; RT-BAP-project-runtime concerns interpreter execution. The three consumers and forces must not be collapsed. Installation and delivery remain distinct from host compliance.
Memory and epistemic records
I checked the memory objects against their actual producers and consumers. MEM-OBJ-page-body, MEM-OBJ-page-metadata and MEM-OBJ-index correctly separate authored body, parser-consumed metadata and derived discovery. Index rendering copies normalized supplied summaries; it does not summarize bodies. MEM-OBJ-daily identifies submitted notes and distillations rather than captured conversations. MEM-OBJ-local-state identifies bookkeeping, including legacy fallback, not saved epistemic judgments. MEM-OBJ-source-material preserves unresolved raw/asset provenance and distinguishes documented references from an implemented ingestion route. SRC-1, scripts/echoes_vault.py, tui.tsx, EchoesProtocol.md.
MEM-RTE-summary-migration correctly follows missing summary → unique legacy description → normalization/injection → index regeneration, without factual revalidation. Its Part of: installation relation is supported. MEM-RTE-health-report correctly separates requested structural diagnosis and independent TUI polling from knowledge admission. Memory annotations preserve the different controls on append, upsert, finalization and instruction installation; unknown original authorship does not erase known later transformations.
The epistemic inventory and ledger preserve those same mechanisms. EPI-OBJ-knowledge-page, EPI-OBJ-page-summary, EPI-OBJ-daily-entry and EPI-OBJ-health-card do not claim concrete verified project propositions. The summary record describes its derived view along the summary path; it does not make the generated index an authored part of a page. The separately declared memory metadata/index objects preserve that distinction for consumers.
EPI-RTE-session-distill is supported as a prescribed semantic-proposal stage, with implemented prompt delivery but no observed transformation. Its finalization containment is valid. EPI-RTE-page-check is a real preflight part of upsert, reused by end; its vetoes establish representation/concurrency checks, not truth or proof of reading. EPI-RTE-index-render spans several routes rather than belonging exclusively to one. Its concrete example follows from the renderer; deprecated status adds a signal without filtering search. EPI-RTE-summary-migrate traces the same migration as the memory record. EPI-RTE-health-report correctly confines entailed derivation to the program's enumerated predicates and conditional badge selection. Advisory diagnosis does not become automatic semantic repair.
EPI-CLM-project-knowledge and EPI-CLM-index-integrity preserve the difference between intended verified content, canonical storage and structural integrity. EPI-ABS-semantic-check is supported within the deterministic dispatch/handler boundary: no handler consumes project evidence against a factual acceptance criterion before retention. The report explicitly preserves structural evaluation, prescribed verification and possible external human/host verification. Its negative therefore does not overreach into an uninspected enclosing agent. Acquisition, retention, selection and acceptance are not conflated; theory-building, learning and self-improvement are not inferred merely from editable persistent text. SRC-1, scripts/echoes_vault.py, index.ts, prompts/commands/echoes-end.md, EchoesProtocol.md, README.md.
Workflow, reconciliation and omissions
The workflow account follows one connected shipped finalization path. The bundled prompt, tool schema, bridge and writer agree on the handoff. A stale-hash rejection precedes this handler's persistence sequence, whereas a later I/O failure can leave earlier effects. Failed tool execution retains the grant; reread/reconcile/rehash/retry is caller recovery, not an automatic controller. Successful local acknowledgement is not remote publication or later reliance. Its two annotations add workflow roles without redeclaring runtime identities.
I checked both supersessions in reconciliation. The migration records have the same trigger, transformation and consumers; the daily objects have the same stored identity. Their supersessions preserve epistemic assessments and memory provenance limits. Complete pages versus body/frontmatter parts, summary versus derived index, local state versus health-card output, and overlapping health routes need not be falsely equated. All declared Part of: relations have the claimed substantive containment. No supersession upgrades a status or replaces a finding. The supplied reports contain no unresolved inter-report conflict requiring an Unresolved conflict: entry. In particular, the generated start template's missing explicit data-warning sentence does not contradict attribution of that sentence to the bundled prompt; protocol doctrine and actual host enforcement remain separate.
The omission search used the frozen tracked tree, all registered tools and CLI dispatch entries, and producer/consumer dependencies. The consequential questions were whether another shipped writer bypassed mechanical admission, another consumer changed context selection or authority, maintenance transformed content beyond the reported summary path, or diagnostics supplied factual acceptance or automatic improvement. Generated commands, skills and legacy redirects are shipped callers, not excluded hosts: their Python calls share the writer while bypassing the server map. Raw/assets have reference affordances but no dedicated dispatch ingestion; hydrate, configure-agents and rebuild-index regenerate derived state; TUI polling supplies a separate display consumer. These paths are already represented or qualified in the reports. Test definitions exercise storage/runtime contracts, not project truth, and cannot supply run evidence without execution. SRC-1, package.json, index.ts, scripts/echoes_vault.py, tui.tsx, tests/runtime.test.ts.
Further omission expansion stopped because each selected question has a source-supported disposition and no identified material challenge remains unresolved. This is not an exhaustive diagnostic-correctness, dependency or protocol-conformance audit. The reports do not claim one. Their existing qualifications already withhold deployed activation, host compliance, complete historical provenance, factual correctness, retrieval benefit and causal improvement; those faithfully scoped uncertainties require neither correction nor an additional verification limit.
