Prime Agent report verification

Verification

The current reports support publication of a bounded implementation account. The runtime repaired the previous variable-preservation defect; the remaining skill-status disagreement does not require correction. I judged the handed reports afresh, including their declarations, annotations, evidence strengths, source anchors, containment relations and reconciliation. The supplied report check has no structural failures. The runtime correction answer is an argument checked against source, not evidence of repair by itself; the other correction-answer files are empty.

The checkout HEAD equals the frozen boundary. Inspection uses only SRC-1 implementation and attributed doctrine/design from the Source register. No target code, tests, examples, provider calls or services were executed. Source predicates support hypothetical behavior, not observed success. The whole-system classification remains supported by shipped mode construction, session ownership and retained-state consumers; it does not promise exhaustive inspection of every included module.

Runtime ownership and effects

SRC-1 crates/pa-agent/src/agent_loop/run.rs supports the assistant/tool/steering/follow-up/continuation ordering of RT-RTE-print-prompt. Errors and aborts terminate explicitly; a no-tool answer is not necessarily the last turn. Engine and embedding reads in SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/engine.rs, crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/runtime_wiring.rs, crates/pa-cli/src/print_runtime.rs and crates/pa-daemon/src/agent_engine/lifecycle.rs support RT-RTE-daemon-session and RT-OBJ-session-context. RPC supplies no inline child host, print does, and the daemon's core manager stays in memory while its embedding owns durable history. These distinctions properly prevent transport-wide persistence or delegation guarantees. The live provider slot supports RT-CMP-provider-model's mutable selector, not pinned weights or local weight learning.

The eval and shell-launch anchors in SRC-1 prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/repl.py and prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/bash.py, together with runtime wiring, support RT-CMP-repl-kernel and RT-RTE-python-effects. A persistent Python namespace and typed callbacks do not confine arbitrary local code. RT-CLM-user-permissions matches the README disclosure: process lifecycle separation is not a security sandbox. Direct filesystem effects are not universally rolled back by abort.

SRC-1 crates/pa-cli/src/print_rlm.rs, crates/pa-daemon/src/rlm_children/host.rs and prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/__init__.py support RT-RTE-child-spawn's admission handle, depth/name checks and separate collection. Inline admission serializes name checking; daemon admission reserves requested names before awaiting. These are recursive-host protocol controls, not universal subprocess or new-root limits. Collection preserves completed results without automatically steering the parent. No record claims successful coordination or whole-parent-transcript inheritance.

Harness writers, projections and consumers

SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/refinement/mod.rs and prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/harness.py support MEM-OBJ-harness-entry, MEM-OBJ-skill-contract and requested MEM-RTE-harness-inspection. Rust preserves both scopes on ID collision and tolerates malformed/unreadable state without establishing complete recovery. Direct helper admission validates shape and writes caller content; it need not run a refiner diagnosis. Skill pointers and argument contracts are distinct from installed capability packages. Returning an object into Python does not automatically expose its complete contents to the model.

SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/refinement/planner.rs, crates/pa-core/src/refinement/executor.rs and crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/refine.rs support RT-RTE-harness-refine and MEM-OBJ-refinement-result. Baseline capture precedes the model pass; application reloads under lock, rejects changed entries and rechecks factory opt-in. Factory deletion remains cleanup while authoring is disabled. Reserved-base protection is scoped to refinement, not OS-enforced prompt immutability. State mutation precedes history/audit/outcome writes, so a later error is not proof that no edit applied.

The event outcome is copied from the proposal's expected outcome, not measured after the change. Full rationale and before/after edits persist, while the next planner's last-twenty projection omits that detail. Rollback independently consumes applied snapshots in reverse order. The reports distinguish reason retention, reason delivery and successful iteration without suppressing the supported edit/recovery path.

SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/refinement/ranking.rs and crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/harness_digest.rs support MEM-RTE-digest-delivery and RT-BAP-harness-digest: kind-local ranking, compact text and skill-contract rendering, event-evidence omission, state-based freshness, replacement of stale context rows and user-role delivery. Query drift alone does not invalidate a matching state fingerprint. This is boundary-selected guidance, not endorsement, full-store delivery or observed activation.

Factory resolution in SRC-1 prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/factory.py supports MEM-OBJ-subagent-entry and MEM-BAP-subagent-template. Full stored text and validated metadata enter the resolved child template, unlike truncated foreground hints. Inline subagent objects and library machines are alternate producers. RT-OBJ-factory-machine and its memory annotation correctly distinguish full symbolic machine arguments from the entry's natural-language description and from live run control state.

Compaction correction and recovery domains

The previous runtime blocker is resolved. I independently followed SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/compaction_arms.rs from context replacement into sync_after_compaction, SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/ipython_state.rs from running-kernel detection through pruning and name listing, and SRC-1 prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/repl.py through payload replacement, manifest replacement and live-name deletion. The current forcing case, component and RT-RTE-context-compact now separate kernel-process survival from preservation of every value. Failed manifest replacement withholds deletion; ordinary size skips do not themselves prune live values. The runtime answer and all dependent preservation passages agree with MEM-OBJ-kernel-state and MEM-RTE-kernel-revival. No previous blocker remains solely because an earlier judgment raised it.

SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/compact_session.rs supports MEM-OBJ-compaction-summary's selected-history/model-summary/file-metadata chain and separately attached post-summarizer digest. Summary-first reconstruction is not semantic equivalence. Restore inspection in SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/kernel/provisioner.rs and prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/repl.py supports namespace revival before bootstrap, per-name failures and later cell consumption. MEM-OBJ-kernel-manifest reports names and losses, not values or an exact replay witness. Snapshot artifacts, durable messages and a live process remain distinct domains.

SRC-1 crates/pa-daemon/src/branch_navigation.rs and crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/branch_summarization.rs support MEM-RTE-branch-navigation: optional abandoned-path summarization, caller-selected leaf movement, persistence and engine rebuild. This is not another active-window compaction route. Full fork artifact equivalence remains unestablished.

Workflow and epistemic force

SRC-1 prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/factory.py and the complete builder and PR-manager machine files support RT-RTE-factory-run and RT-BAP-machine-guards. Stored and library machines share validation and reference resolution. The live run registry is kernel-owned, not durable workflow replay.

WF-RTE-builder-report follows one shipped specialization. I checked required input binding, list-only foreach expansion, unused-input appending, ordered joining, capture/recollection, provisional exits, failure policy and quiescence/finalization in SRC-1 prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/factory.py. The builder file supplies the handoff prompts, requested five-line outline and executable eight-item expansion cap. A malformed outline can fail downstream admission and pause the run; resume does not redo the failed entry. Status exposes a 200-character preview, not full collector delivery. Child collection and user presentation remain separate. Completion checks representation and progress, not report truth. Stop requests cancellation; delete failures can leave supervisor-owned children running, so these controls must not be read as guaranteed effect rollback or reliable recovery.

EPI-OBJ-verdict, EPI-RTE-port-capture, EPI-RTE-pr-review and EPI-RTE-factory-guard preserve separate candidate, extraction, requested model checking and code progression. I checked trailing JSON-block precedence, named-field extraction, strict boolean equality and transition selection against SRC-1 prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/factory.py and prime-agent-runtime/src/rlm/machines/pr-manager/MACHINE.md. Approval routes to a resident watcher, not automatic merge. The deterministic hypothetical example supports the guard predicate, not PR correctness or exercised acceptance.

SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/autonomous/gates.rs, crates/pa-core/src/autonomous/driver.rs, crates/pa-cli/src/print_autonomous.rs and crates/pa-cli/src/headless_autonomous.rs support EPI-OBJ-gate-result, EPI-RTE-shell-check and EPI-RTE-gate-disposition. Command status zero without error/timeout licenses a scoped process-outcome predicate. Cached unchanged-workspace failures increment attempts without a new measurement. Continuation force and headless failure reporting do not license a general task-truth claim.

The complete SRC-1 skills/websearch/src/websearch/websearch.py supports EPI-OBJ-search-results and EPI-RTE-web-search: selected external assertions/URLs, error diagnostics and possible truncation. Upstream warrant remains unknown. EPI-OBJ-harness-memory and EPI-OBJ-harness-policy are lens groupings of stored content, not additional stores. EPI-CLM-harness-improve matches SRC-1 README.md; its comparison correctly separates requested evidence-backed supplemental change from factual acceptance and measured benefit. Generic summaries and edits remain semantically indeterminate without instances. No observed theory-building, improvement or provider learning is inferred from these capacities.

Other admission routes and reconciliation

The remaining reconciliation conflict has both findings, cited records, evidence and a prevented unqualified conclusion. It does not establish an unsupported status. RT-RTE-skill-install uses afforded for an exposed package/body consumption route; the epistemic ledger uses implemented for inspected resource consumption. The vocabularies are not equivalent. SRC-1 crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/engine.rs loads resources and passes Python skill metadata onward; crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/runtime_wiring.rs constructs the provisioner with those skills; crates/pa-core/src/skills/mod.rs and crates/pa-core/src/session_engine/admission.rs implement body expansion into current context. Together with SRC-1 skills/skill-creator/SKILL.md, these support the exposed route and its implemented consumption without requiring exhaustive precedence/rejection coverage. Both reports retain that incompleteness and no observed invocation. I dismiss the objection rather than forcing unlike status vocabularies to agree.

SRC-1 crates/pa-cli/src/update_flow/update_command.rs supports RT-RTE-release-update's managed-install refusal, candidate acquisition/staging/probe, rollback selection and detached coordinator handoff. It does not establish complete coordinator recovery, independent origin trust or behavioral improvement; the report does not claim them.

The identity dispositions preserve valid containers and distinct functions. All declared Part of: relations have supported containment: compaction summary within session context; payload/manifest within the kernel component; verdict protocol within the machine; capture, PR review, guards and builder specialization within factory execution; shell check/disposition within print invocation. Cross-kind parents are explained. The overlapping epistemic harness groupings do not invalidate memory's finer units or warrant supersession. There are no supersessions or evidenced-absence declarations to uphold. Current compaction, history-projection and digest-freshness dispositions are qualifications, not unresolved contradictions. No required conflict lacks citations, findings, evidence or its prevented conclusion.

Omission questions and stopping decision

The frozen top-level tree, shipped alternate-mode assembly and producer/consumer dependencies selected the consequential omission questions. Could alternate writers bypass alleged universal refinement guarantees? Direct helper and unrestricted execution paths support the reports' route-scoped guarantees. Could post-compaction kernel work defeat namespace preservation? The complete prune chain confirms the repair rather than merely the analyst's answer. Could shipped machine/gate consumers contradict a system-wide lack of checking, or could factory status imply full report delivery? Shared capture/binding/finalization and shell-gate inspection support heterogeneous checks and separate preview, full collection and presentation. No emitted system-complete negative depends on unsearched evaluators.

Additional inspection of SRC-1 crates/pa-daemon/src/scheduled_jobs.rs confirms a separate later admission path for retained heartbeat/cron prompts:

// A heartbeat fire delivers through promptHeartbeat: the turn IS // the injected heartbeat_prompt custom row, a plain cron job a regular prompt. --- crates/pa-daemon/src/scheduled_jobs.rs

The memory inventory already names these control parts as incompletely traced. This witness supports existence, not an entire persistence/cancellation/restart account. Further optional omission expansion stopped because selected material challenges have supported dispositions, and no identified material challenge remains without one. Available scheduler, evaluator, loader, fork and recovery variants alone do not require exhaustive audit. Their consequences remain the carried limits below, not inferred absences.

Limits

  • RT-RTE-daemon-session, RT-OBJ-session-context and the memory coverage inventory leave goals, quota parks and scheduled wake-up retention/recovery incompletely traced. SRC-1 crates/pa-daemon/src/scheduled_jobs.rs establishes heartbeat/cron prompt admission, but not its entire creation, persistence, cancellation and restart lifecycle. Harness edit/digest and namespace-revival conclusions remain supported. Withhold exhaustive memory-route inventories and system-wide recovery, curation or withdrawal comparisons.
  • RT-RTE-skill-install, RT-RTE-release-update, MEM-RTE-branch-navigation and RT-RTE-factory-run retain incomplete loader precedence, coordinated release recovery, fork artifact transfer and machine-variant coverage. The inspected admission, body-expansion, branch-selection and builder/PR-manager mechanisms remain valid; do not generalize their handoff, replay, withdrawal or delivery behavior to every resource, fork, transport or factory machine. Cancellation controls also do not guarantee that every supervisor-owned child stopped when deletion failed.
