Binder report verification

Verification

The reports support a bounded account of typed persistent state, structural admission, recovery, selected later consumption and prompt-mediated journal/task work. No material blocker was established. I judged the supplied reports afresh against SRC-1, not against their validation statements. The correction-answer inputs are empty and report-check says none. There is no structural finding requiring correction. The checkout HEAD matches the boundary; its top-level tracked tree is consistent with the declared whole-system scope. No target code, tests, examples or model services were executed.

Runtime and effect boundaries

I traced update preparation, application and notification through SRC-1, packages/cli/src/commands/update.ts, packages/cli/src/runtime.ts, packages/repo/src/knowledge-graph.ts, packages/repo/src/transaction-processor.ts, packages/repo/src/transaction-applier.ts and packages/repo/src/db.ts. Config-first schema preparation, reserved write transactions, predecessor/sequence checks and post-commit subscriber handling support RT-RTE-graph-update, RT-OBJ-knowledge-graph, RT-CLM-transaction-boundary and RT-CLM-derived-effects. Their guarantees are correctly conditional on graph-managed SQL work. Subscriber failure does not reverse a commit; afterCommit is a distinct awaited callback, not a protected subscriber.

Independent comparison of MCP transact, HTTP transactions and workspace opening confirmed convergence on update without a universal content-confirmation gate. SRC-1, packages/cli/src/mcp/tools/transact.ts, packages/cli/src/http/server.ts, packages/cli/src/workspace.ts, packages/repo/src/local/open.ts. HTTP fallback authorship and client provenance are not authentication. Prepared replay in RT-RTE-journal-repair bypasses fresh processing, while retaining application version checks. The repair source supports the backup/rollback/sequential-apply account, not whole-repair atomicity. SRC-1, packages/cli/src/plugins/journal/sync.ts.

The document-sync entry paths and projection subscriptions support RT-RTE-document-sync, with per-URI rather than distributed coordination. The loaders and runners support RT-RTE-extension-load: imported plugins, shell hooks, scripts and HTTP factories cross the graph-only effect boundary. SRC-1, packages/cli/src/lsp/handlers/save-handler.ts, packages/cli/src/plugins/docs/commands.ts, packages/repo/src/local/plugin-loader.ts, packages/cli/src/lib/scripts.ts, packages/cli/src/http/serverModule.ts. No sandbox or universal extension rollback is inferred.

Model calls, retained parts and later consumers

A complete importer source read supports RT-RTE-git-import, EPI-OBJ-log and EPI-RTE-import-format. I followed Git output through prompt formatting, external completion, line extraction and insertion positioning to stdout. Commit hashes and time-of-day do not reach the model through formatted commits; ordinary stat lines do not survive the prefix filter. The deterministic example is a static deduction, not observed execution. Empty-list failure and the absence of an internal apply step are accurately retained. SRC-1, examples/journal/git-import-logs.ts.

The helper source supports RT-RTE-llm-call: one freshly constructed user message, optional respond-schema validation and usage/failure logging. A source search across CLI implementation found no additional callLlm consumer. The helper's afforded status and its epistemic ledger's implemented checking architecture are compatible. RT-CMP-journal-model and RT-CMP-llm-model correctly distinguish call surfaces without asserting pinned weights, provider forgetting or observed model learning. SRC-1, packages/cli/src/lib/llm.ts.

I checked the journal field schema, capture/summary/planning policies and explicit context selections. MEM-OBJ-journal-log, MEM-OBJ-journal-summary, MEM-OBJ-journal-plan, MEM-RTE-journal-curation and MEM-BAP-journal-guidance preserve the raw-ish/derived/prescriptive distinctions and differing confirmation rules. Known downstream transformations remain supported despite opaque external injection. Initializer ancestor creation is in journal.ts, not add-log.ts. SRC-1, examples/journal/journal.yaml, examples/journal/journal.ts, examples/journal/add-log.ts, examples/journal/skills/day-start/SKILL.md, examples/journal/skills/day-update/SKILL.md, examples/journal/skills/day-summary/SKILL.md, examples/journal/skills/period-summary/SKILL.md, examples/journal/skills/period-update/SKILL.md, examples/journal/skills/day-next-plan/SKILL.md.

MEM-RTE-selected-read correctly distinguishes CLI argv trimming from graph pagination, and MCP from CLI includes. I inspected their selectors and HTTP delivery, not merely storage methods. MEM-OBJ-config-views, MEM-OBJ-snapshot-metadata and MEM-RTE-document-projection distinguish schema rules, readable projections and synchronization metadata. Verify-mode divergence protection is conditional, not an all-path losslessness guarantee. SRC-1, packages/cli/src/commands/read.ts, packages/cli/src/commands/search.ts, packages/cli/src/mcp/tools/search.ts, packages/cli/src/http/server.ts, packages/cli/src/plugins/docs/index.ts, packages/cli/src/document/repository.ts, packages/cli/src/lib/snapshot.ts.

Import preview, sequential admission, undo/redo and history replacement support MEM-RTE-history-maintenance, EPI-RTE-import-preview and EPI-RTE-undo-redo. A dry-run can warn and return success; redo checks its predecessor and uses prepared apply. EPI-RTE-import-mapping correctly locates human mapping/batch approval in doctrine, not the executable import handler. SRC-1, packages/cli/src/commands/transaction.ts, packages/cli/src/plugins/undo/commands.ts, packages/cli/src/plugins/journal/commands.ts, skills/binder-import/SKILL.md.

Epistemic judgments and workflow

I compared the epistemic inventory, each ledger function and the claim comparisons with their declaring records and source consumers. EPI-CLM-agent-memory and EPI-CLM-period-learnings support distinct storage and grounded-journal intentions, not verified factual memory or improved capacity. EPI-OBJ-learnings and EPI-RTE-journal-review preserve indeterminate semantic transformation, user correction, retention and conditional later integration without inventing an accepted ampliative instance. Structural checking, format checking, recovery and personal confirmation have appropriately different licenses. SRC-1, README.md, examples/journal/skills/period-summary/SKILL.md, examples/journal/skills/day-summary/SKILL.md.

Source reads of capture/refinement and all five current implementation guides support MEM-OBJ-task-findings, MEM-OBJ-task-specification, MEM-RTE-task-curation, EPI-OBJ-task and EPI-RTE-task-findings. Readiness, diagnosis, agreed contracts and test outcomes are not conflated with factual acceptance. The workflow account and annotations on RT-RTE-task-guide and RT-BAP-task-guidance faithfully describe same-agent staged work, state rereads, human decision/design gates, expected preimplementation failure and final repair obligations. They correctly withhold release, task-status transition, separate-worker isolation and mechanical termination. SRC-1, examples/workflow/skills/capture-task/SKILL.md, examples/workflow/skills/refine-backlog/SKILL.md, examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/SKILL.md, examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/guides/investigate.md, examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/guides/discuss.md, examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/guides/design.md, examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/guides/write-tests.md, examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/guides/implement.md.

I checked every declaration's source anchor, evidence strength and containment meaning, including annotations. The journal/task/config Part of relations identify retained graph parts; importer output is correctly not already part of retained graph state. The format route is a proper part of its importer. The reconciliation supplies adequate identity evidence for its sole supersession, EPI-OBJ-learnings by MEM-OBJ-journal-summary, without changing either report's values. The broader task object, maintenance routes and journal routes are valid groupings, not identical to each narrower overlap. Projection and ingress remain distinct. No unresolved cross-report conflict requiring correction was found; broader workflow inspection does not contradict another analyst's explicitly narrower coverage.

Omission questions were selected from the shipped tree and producer/consumer dependencies: whether replay bypasses claimed admission; whether generated logs are actually retained; whether field selection loses source context; whether task guides add decision or checking routes; and whether another shipped consumer or doctrine claim exceeds the reports' comparisons. The first three have supported dispositions above. Guide inspection exposed the local argument/Decision inventory gap below. Additional browser source inspection found ordinary HTTP-backed editing and a cached list requested with limit 100, not an independent semantic acceptance mechanism. SRC-1, packages/cli/src/http/public/app.js. This does not undermine the memory report's explicitly incomplete browser-selection coverage. Test declaration searches across graph, docs, MCP, HTTP, LSP and workspace-script suites establish authored checks, not passing runs or semantic efficacy.

Repository-concept doctrine also makes broader history/synchronization claims than the declared claim inventory assesses. Those comparisons remain withheld below. The additional source passages are doctrine/design, not implementation or run evidence:

  • Conflict-free sync: The append-only transaction log and content-addressable hashing enable offline-first collaboration with automatic conflict resolution. See Changeset concept. --- docs/concepts/repository.md

  • Complete audit trail: Every create, update, and delete is recorded with author and timestamp. Any change can be reversed. --- docs/concepts/repository.md

The additional discussion-guide inventory evidence is also doctrine/design:

  1. Argue. Build pro/con arguments. Evidence-based, specific, falsifiable. Grounded in code, docs, or prior art. --- examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/guides/discuss.md

Optional expansion stopped because these selected challenges now have supported dispositions or bounded local limits; no identified contradiction remains undisposed. Further extraction, merge/rehash, app-recipe or host inspection is not needed to sustain the emitted bounded findings. It would be needed for exhaustive consumer, semantic-round-trip, synchronization or full theory-cycle comparisons. Faithfully scoped missing execution and opaque provider/input evidence are not additional defects.

Limits

  • EPI-OBJ-task, EPI-RTE-task-findings and RT-RTE-task-guide: the epistemic record inventory does not separately trace the discussion guide's retained Problem/Option/Argument/Decision objects and their later consumers. The workflow account establishes the collaborative route, so the supported task workflow remains valid; withhold a complete comparison of argument retention, criticism, decision authority and theory-cycle organization across all task guides. SRC-1, examples/workflow/skills/implement-task/guides/discuss.md, explicitly requests evidence-based pro/con arguments and user-agreed Decision records. These mechanisms do not by themselves establish a completed theory criticism cycle or reliable decisions.
  • EPI-CLM-agent-memory, RT-CLM-transaction-boundary and MEM-RTE-history-maintenance: the claim comparison is not a complete assessment of repository doctrine. SRC-1, docs/concepts/repository.md, additionally claims immutable append-only history, a complete audit trail and conflict-free multi-device synchronization. The reports correctly describe explicit history replacement and bound SQL consistency; they do not establish those broader promises. Withhold comparisons asserting complete historical recoverability or conflict-free distributed synchronization from this analysis. This inventory omission does not weaken the supported local persistence, structural admission and recovery-route findings.
