Atomic report verification

Verification

The current reports support a bounded source-level account. Both previous blockers are repaired. I read the complete invocation, supplied reports, boundary, types, records contract, worker rules, correction answers, structural check and previous verification. Memory and epistemic supplied correction answers; runtime and workflow answers are empty. The structural check reports none, so there is no structural failure to route. I judged the current text afresh and independently traced consequential implementation rather than treating those answers or analyst validation as acceptance.

SRC-1 checkout HEAD equals the reviewed boundary and Git status is clean. The top-level tracked tree agrees with boundary's coverage. Inspected drivers and consumers do not contradict its whole-system functional boundary or memory/knowledge/context-engineering classification. All additional reads below are implementation evidence at that commit, except attributed README claims. No target code, tests, providers or benchmark were executed. Source wiring establishes neither observed operation nor causal benefit.

Records, source support and evidence strength

I assessed every declaration and annotation for referent, source-anchor support, status, operative parts and downstream interpretation. The following groups record their consequential dispositions; none requires correction.

  • Runtime's three model components distinguish configurable inference interfaces from retained vectors and external weights. SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/providers/mod.rs supports the declared defaults and configurable selection, not immutable weight identity. RT-OBJ-tool-registry, supported by crates/atomic-core/src/agent_runtime/tools.rs, is a local name-to-executor map, not an isolation boundary or model-installed capability store.
  • RT-RTE-chat-turn, RT-RTE-atom-mutation, RT-CLM-explicit-mutation and RT-BAP-chat-prompt preserve the distinction between model guidance and executor authority. Independent reads of SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/agent.rs, crates/atomic-core/src/agent_runtime/run.rs and crates/atomic-core/src/chat_tools.rs confirm user-first persistence, sequential tools, round-count limits, cooperative cancellation, separate assistant/tool/citation saves and direct mutation admission. EditAtom loads through MutationDeps rather than ScopeGuard; the explicit-request description is not a separate consent check.
  • RT-RTE-capture-write, RT-RTE-settings-change and RT-RTE-state-maintenance keep distinct admission and recovery boundaries. SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/lib.rs supports insert-before-enqueue and settings routing. crates/atomic-core/src/graph_maintenance.rs catches an edge-computation error and then marks the batch complete. Searches of crates/atomic-server/src/main.rs and crates/atomic-cloud/src/dispatcher.rs corroborate shipped maintenance/report dispatch without establishing deployed isolation or successful refresh.
  • MEM-OBJ-atoms, MEM-OBJ-atom-chunks, MEM-OBJ-chunk-embeddings and MEM-OBJ-tags distinguish readable content, symbolic access structure and numerical retrieval state. SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/embedding.rs and crates/atomic-core/src/extraction.rs support MEM-RTE-atom-enrichment: deletion precedes successful replacement, and tagging receives a byte-limited prefix. crates/atomic-core/src/compaction.rs supports MEM-RTE-tag-compaction: guarded merges transfer associations, reparent children and delete the loser. Reasons are logged rather than established as a later-readable rationale in the inspected SQLite path. These effects do not demonstrate improved capacity.
  • MEM-RTE-corpus-retrieval and MEM-BAP-corpus-evidence retain consumer-specific selection and informational authority. SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/search.rs, crates/atomic-core/src/chat_tools.rs and crates/atomic-server/src/mcp/server.rs support scope predicates, delivered matching text and different chat/MCP kind defaults. The complete helper in src/components/chat/saveAnswerAsAtom.ts supports MEM-RTE-answer-save, including marker conversion, reduced wiki/finding lineage and ordinary atom creation. Captured kind cannot authenticate human authorship.
  • MEM-OBJ-chat-history and memory's chat annotation distinguish retained tool/citation metadata from replayed role/content. SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/agent.rs explicitly sets historical provider tool fields to None. crates/atomic-core/src/agent_runtime/context.rs retains mandatory first/latest groups and produces no durable summary. Its budget is not a strict ceiling. The runtime's earlier explicit conversion uncertainty is refined, not contradicted.
  • RT-RTE-wiki-admission, MEM-OBJ-wiki-articles, MEM-OBJ-wiki-proposals and MEM-OBJ-wiki-versions now preserve the required part distinctions. I reread SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/lib.rs proposal construction, retrieval, acceptance, dismissal and direct publication; crates/atomic-core/src/wiki/mod.rs archive construction and version selectors; and crates/atomic-server/src/routes/wiki.rs proposal/version readers. Pending candidates have caller-review and base-freshness consumers, live articles feed product readers, and archives have historical retrieval without established automatic rollback or model consumption. The new part records repair the previous memory blocker without replacing the valid container. Immediate acceptance and direct generation still prevent a universal human-review guarantee. crates/atomic-core/src/wiki/agentic.rs confirms the first-chunk budget exception.
  • RT-RTE-report-finding, MEM-OBJ-report-findings and workflow's account and annotation preserve the same lifecycle. SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/reports/agentic.rs confirms direct ID reads without ContextFilter, bounded research and separate final synthesis. crates/atomic-core/src/reports/runner.rs confirms nonempty admission, transactional-helper invocation and separate post-write bookkeeping. crates/atomic-core/src/storage/sqlite/reports.rs confirms the local atom/tags/provenance/citation transaction. crates/atomic-server/src/routes/reports.rs distinguishes 202 dispatch from retained results and best-effort notification. Parser code in crates/atomic-core/src/providers/structured.rs supports shape rejection and the corrective nudge, not factual verification. Ledger failure/backoff anchors do not turn success bookkeeping into exactly-once delivery.
  • EPI-OBJ-atom-content and EPI-OBJ-generated-prose are content inventories rather than assertions of accepted propositions. EPI-OBJ-citation-ledger, EPI-RTE-citation-resolution and EPI-RTE-wiki-citations are supported by SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/agent_runtime/citations.rs, crates/atomic-core/src/reports/agentic.rs and crates/atomic-core/src/wiki/mod.rs. First excerpts, marker deduplication, eligible identity lookup and old/new citation maps establish lineage metadata, not proposition support. Unknown citation numbers need not reject prose.
  • EPI-RTE-generated-delivery repairs the previous epistemic blocker. SRC-1 crates/atomic-core/src/chat_tools.rs unconditionally removes matching bracketed numbers before wiki/finding windowing and excerpt registration. The counterexample loses asserted numeric content; the genuine-marker example can preserve its sentence's proposition. The revised ledger relation, gap, bounded conclusion and record now consistently withhold semantic preservation across arbitrary prose. Product citation and genuine-marker removal remain supported. No runtime trace is required for this implementation deduction.
  • EPI-RTE-retrieval-scoring is supported by SRC-1 crates/atomic-bench/src/suites/memory_longitudinal.rs: recall and reciprocal rank are conditional arithmetic over fixture labels/ranks, not answer truth or causal improvement. EPI-CLM-cited-products matches the feature passage in README.md; it does not attribute a universal truth guarantee. No report declares an evidenced absence. The epistemic ledger's implemented architecture and the declarations' wired implementation/uninspected operation are compatible dimensions.

Relations, reconciliation and omission disposition

All six declared Part of: relations are supported: atom enrichment belongs within maintenance; citation resolution within report production; generated-product delivery within chat; wiki citation reconstruction within wiki admission; and pending proposals and historical versions within the wiki container. Cross-consumer retrieval, answer conversion, provider components and their outputs remain distinct referents. There are no supersessions to assess.

Reconciliation preserves these identities and all memory integration dispositions. Replay, report visibility, SQLite durability, budgets, authorship and workflow recovery are refinements of previously unresolved inspection, not incompatible claims. The new wiki declarations resolve the earlier missing-part conflict. The corrected generated-delivery classification leaves neither memory nor reconciliation dependent on universal semantic preservation. No unresolved inter-report conflict remains; no conflict was silently downgraded to a limit.

Consequential omission questions were selected from the frozen tree, shipped alternate paths and producer/consumer dependencies: whether generated output re-enters captured-only selection; whether ID readers defeat search isolation; whether direct publication bypasses review; whether durable admission precedes fallible recovery bookkeeping; and whether a shipped client's confirmation changes capture admission. The saved-answer, ReadAtom, direct-wiki and report-runner traces resolve the first four without implying absence elsewhere. Additional reads of SRC-1 plugins/discord/src/core/pipeline.ts and plugins/discord/src/platform/confirm.ts show writes before success confirmation, not semantic approval in those handlers. This does not settle all client initiation, retry or review variants, which the reports already leave unresolved.

Further optional omission expansion stopped because each selected challenge has a supported disposition and no identified material contradiction remains. The positive account of retained content, derived retrieval state, bounded model consumers and route-specific admission stands. Complete client/adapter/strategy inventories, backend parity, universal isolation, secure erasure, exercised epistemic acceptance and improvement attribution remain unavailable comparisons under the reports' existing qualifications. Uninspected alternatives are not evidence of absence. Faithfully scoped uncertainty, including generated-delivery semantics and missing execution evidence, adds no independent publication limit or blocker.
