DocMason report verification

Verification

The pinned reports support a bounded account of host-owned reasoning, checked canonical closure, deterministic publication, conditional interaction-memory consumption and explicit regression admission. The previous answer-object containment defect and its reconciliation endorsement are repaired. No material blocker remains; the local freshness, withdrawal and inventory limits below remain.

I read the complete supplied reports, types, record contract, correction answers, structural check and previous verification. The epistemic answer reports a correction; the other analyst answer files are empty. The structural check reports none. I assessed every declared record, its source anchors, evidence strength, status and identity, all annotations and Part of relations, the sole supersession, and reconciliation's integration dispositions. Source inspection was independent of the authors' checks and the previous verifier's conclusions. SRC-1 is the repository in the Source register; HEAD matches the frozen revision and Git reports no checkout changes. All source reads and searches below supply implementation or doctrine/design evidence only. No target program, test, example, host provider or service was executed.

Canonical control, publication and delivery

RT-CMP-host-agent and RT-BAP-canonical-skills preserve the division between external inference and repository-owned instructions and Python controls. SRC-1 AGENTS.md, README.md and the complete canonical ask, grounded-answer and construction skills support that division. The inference-traffic statement remains attributed doctrine, not a network audit. External model version, parameter mutability, permission grants and host adherence are not inferred from file-only storage.

I traced finalization in SRC-1 src/docmason/host_integration.py, gate-to-commit ordering in src/docmason/ask.py, and the admission decision in src/docmason/admissibility.py. RT-RTE-canonical-ask, RT-OBJ-canonical-turn and RT-CLM-commit-gate correctly describe control binding and invoked admission. Ownership, shared-job settlement, version, support-manifest and scope checks have consequential consumers. KB, mixed, external, model-knowledge and boundary routes are not one universal grounding policy. Public tools and direct evaluator lifecycle calls remain alternate paths; arbitrary host replies are outside these invoked controls.

The workflow account and recovery annotation correctly separate host drafting, exact-file tracing, automatic missing-trace recovery, host-owned rewrite and terminal delivery. Wrapper failure handling restores prepared state for repairable defects and invokes quarantine otherwise. The one-rewrite/retrace limit is authored protocol, not an independently established hard wrapper retry counter. Only completed or boundary closure authorizes the ordinary final business reply. These findings establish the workflow and its rejection/recovery affordances, not observed successful delivery.

RT-RTE-sync-publish and RT-OBJ-publish-pointer match the normal valid/warnings branch and unchanged-state skip in SRC-1 src/docmason/knowledge.py. The publication helper in src/docmason/versioning.py compares copied validation status/signature, restores pointer/ledger state on handled bookkeeping exceptions and prunes old physical roots after successful publication. It does not independently require a successful validation status or prove universal crash durability. SRC-1 src/docmason/coordination.py implements cooperating, stale-reclaimable filesystem leases, supporting best-effort coordination rather than an isolation invariant.

RT-RTE-hybrid-refresh separates wired packet/settlement edges from requested host semantic authoring. The epistemic ledger's doctrine-only status is specifically for that authoring function, not the implemented container. RT-RTE-host-hooks matches prompt reminders and Stop eligibility/one-shot claiming in SRC-1 src/docmason/hooks.py. RT-RTE-adapter-sync matches target/input/metadata checks and generated imports in src/docmason/commands.py. RT-RTE-core-update matches remote checksum versus local-manifest admission and handled replacement rollback in src/docmason/update_core.py. Host execution remains external; neither hook delivery nor file replacement establishes exercised adaptation or trustworthy release provenance.

Retained content and epistemic force

MEM-OBJ-source-evidence, MEM-OBJ-knowledge-text, EPI-OBJ-knowledge and MEM-OBJ-reader-index distinguish physical evidence, semantic text and fixed-rule reader metadata. SRC-1 src/docmason/knowledge.py supports preservation, conservative production, validation and conditional reader-index construction; src/docmason/retrieval.py supports later reload and selection. Their product-to-build Part of relations are valid. The two semantic-object records overlap without having identical whole referents.

EPI-RTE-conservative-output correctly limits its entailed proposition to what the stipulated staged snippet includes. I checked the generic branch's snippet precedence and templates in SRC-1 src/docmason/knowledge.py; they do not entail the underlying business assertion. EPI-RTE-knowledge-check describes identity, schema and resolvable/nonempty support checks rather than proposition-level entailment. Checking and publication disposition remain distinct functions.

MEM-OBJ-semantic-overlay, EPI-OBJ-semantic-overlay and EPI-RTE-overlay-coverage are respectively the same additive file referent and its separate coverage function. SRC-1 src/docmason/semantic_overlays.py supplies fields, writing, validation and generic loading; src/docmason/hybrid.py supplies fingerprint-bound coverage credit. Rebuild preservation in src/docmason/knowledge.py does not establish renewed semantic consideration. The reconciliation's sole supersession preserves identity and both records' qualifications. Their containment in the hybrid route is supported; universal stale-reader exclusion is not asserted.

RT-RTE-evidence-tools, EPI-RTE-memory-selection and EPI-RTE-trace-check correctly separate reader delivery, participation/ranking and diagnostics. SRC-1 src/docmason/retrieval.py supports conditional pending merging, domain exclusions and lexical thresholds. I checked the trace classifier and stopword set: adding never in the report's stipulated countercase leaves three of four significant terms covered, meeting 0.75. This is a valid code deduction about that classifier, not an observed answer or full admission bypass. EPI-CLM-source-trust correctly distinguishes the README's stronger hallucination-prevention claim from provenance and heuristic checks.

The corrected EPI-OBJ-answer now denotes a separate natural-language answer file linked by the symbolic RT-OBJ-canonical-turn. SRC-1 src/docmason/host_integration.py resolves the stored path and writes that separate file; the construction is linkage, not containment in the control binding. I checked the inventory, ledger and bounded conclusion: none depends on the removed containment assertion. The reconciliation identity account and integration disposition withdraw the earlier endorsement and preserve this distinction. Both previous blockers are discharged, not moved into Limits.

Interaction memory and evaluator adoption

MEM-OBJ-native-ledger, MEM-OBJ-interaction-entry, MEM-OBJ-interaction-policy and EPI-OBJ-interaction-entry preserve raw/normalized capture, bounded text and selection metadata distinctions. SRC-1 src/docmason/interaction.py and src/docmason/routing.py support bounded excerpts and fallback semantics; labels are not corroboration certificates. The broader epistemic container can coexist with the memory lens's separate text and policy parts without a split supersession.

MEM-RTE-native-capture, EPI-RTE-pending-overlay, MEM-RTE-interaction-promotion and EPI-RTE-orphan-cleanup describe distinct source-supported stages. I traced reconciliation, pending projection, grouping/reuse, post-publication marking and promoted-context reload in SRC-1 src/docmason/interaction.py, plus self-capture suppression in src/docmason/ask.py. Pending evidence can reach readers before publication; suppression skips promoted entries; one surviving backing entry can preserve a prior merged memory. Promotion is a valid sync part, while pending projection and current-tree orphan maintenance are not wholly publication functions. The non-ampliative pending-text classification is scoped to the concrete copied string, not every generated relation label.

The memory annotations on canonical control and hooks match explicit continuation anchoring and work-brief merging in SRC-1 src/docmason/work_experience.py and selected advisory delivery in src/docmason/hooks.py. Compact output and bounded work packets establish context selection, not eviction or isolated host windows. Parser-tail checkpointing is not model-window summarization. No all-task recall or complete reasons-retention conclusion follows.

MEM-OBJ-benchmark-candidates, MEM-RTE-review-projection and RT-RTE-operator-eval form a supported trace-to-candidate-to-regression chain. SRC-1 src/docmason/projections.py and src/docmason/review.py supply retained projections and candidate selection; src/docmason/operator_eval.py supplies explicit promotion and duplicate skipping. src/docmason/evaluation.py consumes supplied answer plans and judge trials, including median aggregation. Review guidance forbids production mutation. This supports evaluator-state adoption, not autonomous generation, causal improvement or automatic production self-revision.

All route statuses retain the implementation/operation distinction; no evidenced absences are declared. Other Part of relations denote valid products or functions within their supplied route containers. Reconciliation preserves overlapping scopes without false identity, dispositions the integration issues without enlarging guarantees, and leaves no established cross-report conflict. Independent learning, reflection, autonomy and theory-builder uncertainties are not converted into a bundled negative.

Consequential omission questions and stopping decision

I selected questions using the frozen top-level tree, shipped entry points and producer/consumer dependencies rather than only quoted anchors. Could an included caller bypass publication or ordinary closure? SRC-1 src/docmason/cli.py, scripts/use-sample-corpus.py, pending-overlay readers and evaluator lifecycle calls confirm alternate paths already retained in the reports. The sample driver materializes inputs and can invoke bootstrap/sync; it is not an excluded external application.

Could another shipped checker supply the missing semantic warrant? I read the complete construction, ask, grounded-answer and validation-repair skills and searched model/judge-related source paths under SRC-1 src/docmason/. The selected repair contract returns to artifact validation and host judgment rather than establishing a separate semantic oracle:

  1. Rerun docmason validate-kb --json until the result is valid or warnings.
  2. When staged validation is no longer blocking, return control to the main agent so it can rerun docmason sync --json for final publication. --- skills/canonical/validation-repair/SKILL.md

This sustains the bounded contract-versus-truth distinction, not a system-complete absence of model criticism. Could trace-derived candidates already revise production automatically? Projection producers, candidate gates, explicit promotion and later evaluator consumers support the narrower evaluator-admission conclusion. Worker freshness and every answer-history consumer remain incompletely traced.

I stopped optional expansion because these selected consequential challenges have supported dispositions, the repaired identity no longer contradicts its parent, and the reports withhold exhaustive fidelity, capture, freshness and exercised-benefit conclusions. More parser, installer, binary-fixture or composition inventory is not reasonably likely to change those retained conclusions at their stated breadth. Uninspected alternatives are not evidenced absence. No newly identified excluded responsibility requires changing the frozen functional boundary.

Limits

  • MEM-OBJ-semantic-overlay, EPI-RTE-overlay-coverage and RT-RTE-hybrid-refresh: SRC-1 src/docmason/hybrid.py rejects stale coverage credit, while src/docmason/knowledge.py preserves overlays and src/docmason/semantic_overlays.py generically reloads them. All intervening reader/settlement invalidation paths remain unresolved. Withhold universal stale-text quarantine; fingerprint-bound coverage remains supported.
  • MEM-OBJ-interaction-entry, MEM-RTE-interaction-promotion and EPI-RTE-orphan-cleanup: SRC-1 src/docmason/interaction.py retains a group while any backing entry survives and skips promoted entries during suppression. Withhold unit-level deletion, complete forget and already-delivered-context retraction guarantees. Pending suppression, group promotion and missing-all-lineage cleanup remain supported.
  • MEM-RTE-native-capture, MEM-OBJ-reader-index and MEM-RTE-review-projection: individual provider/attachment parsers, all incremental cache combinations, worker freshness and answer-history consumer routes remain incompletely inspected in SRC-1 src/docmason/interaction.py, src/docmason/retrieval.py, src/docmason/knowledge.py and src/docmason/projections.py. Withhold exhaustive capture, reader invalidation and all-consumer reuse comparisons. The traced capture, selected-reader and candidate-admission paths remain valid; this partial inventory establishes no absence.
