Autocontext report verification

Verification
The current reports support a bounded static account. Both earlier blockers are repaired: the context bundle and imported package retain valid containers and now declare their materially different operative parts. I judged the reports afresh, including their correction answers and dependent conclusions, rather than accepting the answers as evidence. Runtime and workflow answers are empty; memory and epistemic each answer the earlier blocker. The supplied artifact check reports none, so there is no structural failure to route.
I checked every declaration, its source anchors and evidence status, annotations, containment, duplicate relationships, supersessions and the reconciliation's conflict dispositions. Independent source inspection used SRC-1 at the reviewed revision. I rechecked HEAD and clean status and compared the tracked root tree with the boundary. The whole-system improvement-plane classification remains supported; selective inspection is not a claim that all included algorithms were audited. No target code, tests, examples, providers or services were executed. Source inspection establishes implementation and attributed design, not observed operation or causal benefit.
Runtime and workflow
RT-RTE-scenario-generation and the workflow account preserve a consequential ordering: knowledge setup and routing precede model roles; standard support roles precede the current tournament; context admission follows the tournament and precedes later review and persistence. I checked this at SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/generation_pipeline.py, against autocontext/src/autocontext/agents/orchestrator.py and autocontext/src/autocontext/agents/orchestrator_helpers.py. The coach consumes analyst text through its prompt. The feedback DAG's two-worker bound is not a claim of complete host-session isolation. The workflow annotation adds findings to the existing route rather than duplicating it.
CLI scenario/task dispatch, runner inheritance and terminal delivery are supported at SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/cli.py and autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/generation_runner.py. The runner distinguishes this invocation's summary count from durable completed generations. Failure marking and reentry are not atomic reversal of prior effects. The basic delta gate in autocontext/src/autocontext/harness/pipeline/gate.py, incumbent score/rating updates in autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/tournament_helpers.py, and retry handoff in autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/stage_helpers/tournament_prep.py support the workflow's qualified rejection account. Retry calls competitor and translator, not the full support sequence.
RT-OBJ-strategy correctly separates the execution mapping from generated prose and identifies its code-bearing alternative. RT-RTE-runtime-dispatch correctly distinguishes direct completion, host-agent subprocess/RPC, local shell and imported extension authority. SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/runtimes/direct_api.py, autocontext/src/autocontext/runtimes/claude_cli.py, autocontext/src/autocontext/runtimes/pi_rpc.py, autocontext/src/autocontext/runtimes/workspace_env.py and autocontext/src/autocontext/extensions/loader.py support those differences. Claude's optional tool argument is not a universal grant inventory; unmatched local commands reach a shell; module import executes extension initialization. The process/thread fallback and cancellation behavior at autocontext/src/autocontext/execution/executors/local.py support best-effort resource control, not guaranteed termination or universal isolation.
RT-RTE-context-promotion is a candidate-specific protocol, not a gate over all knowledge changes. I independently read SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/context_bundle_evaluation.py: absence of coordinator/digest returns immediately, evaluation exceptions defer, promoted state must match the evaluated digest, and routing is synchronized. autocontext/src/autocontext/context_bundles/promotion.py restricts component attribution to an eligible single-component manifest difference and heldout trials. This supports scoped comparison/admission wiring, not an observed causal experiment or truth license for every instruction.
RT-RTE-npm-generation preserves a different policy. SRC-1, ts/src/loop/generation-runner.ts, calls support roles after lifecycle persistence without a local advance predicate; ts/src/knowledge/artifact-store.ts distinguishes direct writing from optional staging. Its public direct writer and the runner's consolidation write prevent universal approval or matched-evaluation claims. The report already limits its guarantee to the named method and identifies alternate direct writes.
RT-RTE-context-assembly and RT-BAP-context-delivery describe selected prompt delivery, not reliable compliance. Active-bundle precedence, separate lesson loading and mutation-related split suppression in SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/stages.py, support that account. autocontext/src/autocontext/prompts/context_budget.py protects hints/dead ends and trims other copies; it does not guarantee the complete provider/host window. RT-RTE-task-revision is supported by required-target handling, fingerprint caching, evaluator-epoch handling and bounded rounds at autocontext/src/autocontext/execution/improvement_loop.py. Its external output selection is not automatically harness self-change.
RT-CMP-role-models and RT-CMP-training-checkpoints correctly separate inference from parameter-changing training and decline to identify a source pin with immutable weights. RT-RTE-training-experiments is supported by proposed source execution, accepted-incumbent progression and auto-activating publication at SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/training/runner.py. autocontext/src/autocontext/training/promotion_confirmation_runner.py distinguishes summary-derived deterministic inputs from adaptive execution requiring an executor. RT-RTE-ambient-promotion retains real-generation, anchor, drift and charter conditions at autocontext/src/autocontext/ambient/promote.py. RT-RTE-kernel-evolution preserves single-use/resume behavior, source-receipt integrity, benchmark-policy champion selection and primary-only feedback disclosure at autocontext/src/autocontext/kernel_evolution/runner_lifecycle.py. None establishes exercised or beneficial improvement. RT-CLM-agent-improvement accurately attributes the broader README design claim.
Corrected parts and memory findings
The memory answer is supported. MEM-OBJ-context-bundle now has eight declared parts with explicit containment, rather than one mixed authority assessment:
- MEM-OBJ-bundle-advice is interpreted guidance, while MEM-OBJ-routing-config deterministically changes supported settings and role selection.
- MEM-OBJ-prompt-fragment, MEM-OBJ-context-policy, MEM-OBJ-completion-check and MEM-OBJ-tool-instruction have separate rendering consumers. In particular, a completion-check string becomes a competitor checklist, not an executable predicate.
- MEM-OBJ-tool-spec is explicitly noncallable reference source on this consumer, whereas MEM-OBJ-harness-validator can execute as a validity check.
I checked capture, preservation/overlay, routing restrictions, typed mutation reconstruction and reference rendering in SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/context_bundles/assembly.py; rendering and checklist delivery in autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/stage_helpers/harness_mutations.py; and routing application in autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/stages.py and autocontext/src/autocontext/agents/orchestrator.py. These support separate forms, lineage, software admission and actual consumers. Unresolved initial authorship does not obscure known later transformations.
The previously untraced executable seam is now supported, not merely renamed. SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/context_bundles/store.py, materializes executable source into digest-specific storage. autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/stage_helpers/context_loaders.py selects that directory when enabled and refuses legacy fallback for an active bundle without executable validators. autocontext/src/autocontext/execution/harness_loader.py performs confined reads, syntax/safety checks, isolated callable discovery and proxy calls, carrying load failures into validation errors. autocontext/src/autocontext/harness/pipeline/validity_gate.py consumes validation results; the tournament path in autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/stages.py makes the gate conditional. This supports executable veto capability, not exercised validation, correctness of generated checks or audited isolation. The record and dependent write/read-back conclusions retain those distinctions. The earlier memory blocker is discharged.
MEM-OBJ-skill-lessons, MEM-OBJ-generation-artifacts and MEM-RTE-lesson-maintenance distinguish raw retained results from derived behavior-shaping advice. SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/loop/stage_helpers/persistence_helpers.py, selects advance coach lessons, suppresses that branch under approval configuration, and constructs nonadvance avoidance warnings from current attempt data. Curator replacement is a separate transformation. autocontext/src/autocontext/storage/artifact_generation_persistence.py and autocontext/src/autocontext/storage/artifact_skill_lessons.py support separate raw reports, accumulated bullets and replacement. This trace-fed path does not require the coach to have seen the not-yet-run current tournament.
MEM-RTE-lesson-lifecycle, EPI-RTE-lesson-curation and EPI-OBJ-derived-lesson correctly distinguish caller-selected status, deletion and dead-end movement from empirical checking. SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/knowledge/lifecycle.py, ignores the supplied age window and reconstructs validation metadata; autocontext/src/autocontext/storage/artifacts.py filters stale SKILL lines but returns full playbook text. Existing bundle precedence and already-copied inputs prevent a universal withdrawal claim.
MEM-RTE-component-compaction is a real subroute of context assembly. The component limits, recent-section selection, table-row selection, digest/text-checked cache and truncation in SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/domain/context_compaction.py, support deterministic selection rather than model summarization or guaranteed semantic preservation. MEM-OBJ-compaction-entry correctly separates its shorter audit summary from delivered content. MEM-RTE-requested-readback has concrete MCP/Pi seams at autocontext/src/autocontext/mcp/knowledge_tools.py, ts/src/mcp/knowledge-readback-tools.ts, pi/src/index.ts and pi/src/runtime-snapshot.ts; bounded ledger inspection does not establish automatic restoration. MEM-CLM-file-consumption correctly treats skills/autocontext-consumer/SKILL.md as an afforded consumer role while qualifying its append-only storage description.
MEM-RTE-consolidation-preview, EPI-RTE-report-consolidation and EPI-OBJ-consolidation-result retain extraction-only function findings. SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/session/memory_consolidation.py and ts/src/session/memory-consolidation.ts, return candidates without the durable-write/consumer chain. The epistemic prefix-loss example is a valid static deduction, not a target run; it defeats guaranteed scope preservation without classifying every returned string as ampliative.
Corrected acquisition and epistemic findings
The epistemic answer is also supported. EPI-OBJ-strategy-package remains a transport container. EPI-OBJ-package-playbook, EPI-OBJ-package-hints, EPI-OBJ-package-lessons, EPI-OBJ-package-history and EPI-OBJ-package-harness now separate payloads with different conflict branches, warrant and consumption paths. I read the complete SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/knowledge/package.py, and checked rendering/export at autocontext/src/autocontext/knowledge/export.py. The inventory, import ledger rows and bounded conclusion consistently distinguish imported advice of unknown source warrant, synthetic accepted/completed history carrying attributed scores, and installed executable source without a traced complete import-to-execution chain. Optional task/reference fields render into skill text; their presence does not install a trusted task evaluator. The earlier epistemic blocker is discharged.
MEM-RTE-package-import and EPI-RTE-package-import preserve mutable installation versus active-serving precedence. Metadata writes precede content conflict branches; skip is not global no-write. Snapshot copying/restoration at SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/storage/artifact_snapshots.py, does not establish atomic rollback or replacement of existing immutable bundles. Package parts are not identical to the bundle parts they may later seed.
EPI-OBJ-coach-lessons, EPI-RTE-role-proposals and EPI-CLM-lessons-derived appropriately distinguish the requested output in SRC-1, autocontext/src/autocontext/prompts/templates.py, from inspected produced theories. EPI-OBJ-judge-result and EPI-RTE-judge-evaluation correctly bound parsing, averaging, hooks, reference assumptions and factual-confidence fallback at autocontext/src/autocontext/execution/judge.py. Its consumer in autocontext/src/autocontext/execution/improvement_loop.py distinguishes fact-check discount, external verifier veto and non-vetoing checkpoint. Checking, disposition, retention and operational use remain separate ledger functions. No identified produced ampliative claim is asserted accepted/integrated; this is scoped to inspected routes, not a whole-system absence. Learning, reflection, theory-builder conditions and exercised self-improvement remain independent, appropriately unestablished properties.
Reconciliation, omission challenges and stopping
The two amendments in reconciliation identify the same lifecycle and import mechanisms with source-function and endpoint evidence. Supersession does not overwrite either report's findings. The narrower TypeScript consolidation route overlaps the combined-language account without replacing it. All declared Part of: relations are supported: eight bundle parts, five package payload parts, compaction within assembly, role proposals within scenario generation, and judge evaluation within task revision. Requested guidance, durable bullets, lifecycle views, execution strategies and historical package results remain distinct objects. No unsupported identity follows merely from shared text or labels.
The reconciliation correctly removes the earlier missing-part conflicts because the current declarations supply the missing distinctions. It retains reader-specific withdrawal, bundle precedence, conditional executable validation and unknown imported warrant. No current cross-report contradiction requires an unresolved-conflict paragraph. Implementation wired, architectural implemented and operation uninspected are compatible assessments of different layers.
Omission questions were selected from the frozen root tree, alternate shipped writers and producer/consumer dependencies. First, could session consolidation's returned candidates actually be installed by a shipped caller, changing the extraction-only conclusion? A source-wide search for MemoryConsolidator and .consolidate( in SRC-1, autocontext/src and ts/src, found the implementations but no matching caller. This supports the bounded function account, not absence of dynamic or external callers. Second, could the bundle hide executable or deterministic consumers behind advice labels? The assembly-to-store-to-loader-to-validity trace above resolves that challenge, and the corrected records now retain it. Third, could import install trusted evaluation or immediately replace active context? Complete import inspection, skill rendering and active-bundle precedence support installation without that stronger conclusion. Fourth, could alternate shipped writers defeat a universal admission account? Separate SKILL persistence, npm direct/consolidation writing, training publication and ambient/kernel policies demonstrate why only mechanism-specific gates are supported; the reports already make that distinction.
Further omission expansion stops because these selected material challenges have supported dispositions and no identified material challenge remains undisposed. The reports do not emit complete maintenance inventories, universal admission guarantees or system-complete negatives that would justify auditing every remaining route. Notebook/report writers, dataset provenance, other TypeScript maintenance, host state, administrative refresh and archived studies remain incompletely inspected as explicitly scoped coverage boundaries. Positive wiring conclusions survive; full provenance, parity, successful operation, causal benefit and exhaustive route comparisons must be withheld. These are already expressed uncertainties, not newly discovered defects requiring additional publication limits. No evidenced-absence declaration or unsupported complete-coverage finding is accepted.
