Link report verification

Verification
The pinned reports support publication of a bounded source-grounded account. Both previous blockers are repaired: focused-memory filtering and archive withdrawal are now distinguished from ordinary generic wiki delivery. The remaining local limits below do not invalidate the reported mechanisms.
I read the complete supplied invocation, governing types, contracts, members, correction answers, structural check and previous verification. The runtime and epistemic answers each claim a correction; memory and workflow answers are empty. I judged the current wording and independently inspected frozen implementation rather than treating those answers or the previous judgment as evidence of repair. The structural check reports none; no structural failure requires routing. HEAD matches boundary, SRC-1, and the source checkout is clean. No target, test, evaluator, model, installer or service was executed. All additional source inspection is implementation or doctrine/design at the registered revision, not observed operation or causal evidence.
Corrections and cross-member dispositions
RT-RTE-context-recall now correctly confines project/lifecycle predicates to focused recall and the combined packet's memory branch. Its ordinary invocation, guarantee table, admission invalidation and RT-BAP-context-packet preserve generic wiki delivery as a distinct path. I independently traced SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/wiki.py enumeration/cache and complete topic-context construction, mcp_package/link_core/search.py complete search selector, and mcp_package/link_core/query.py query assembly and page provenance. Generic search and graph context use all nonhidden Markdown without focused-memory gates. Query construction merges those page results with separately filtered memory results. The generic provenance fields omit memory lifecycle/review metadata. These facts support MEM-RTE-wiki-read and the corrected runtime scope; actual disclosure remains unobserved. The runtime blocker is discharged.
EPI-RTE-memory-withdrawal, its ledger row, the context-recall consumption row, update invalidation and bounded conclusion now retain that same ordinary generic exception. SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/memory.py archive/restore and focused selector support branch-local enforcement, not all-query withdrawal. The epistemic correction preserves that positive mechanism while withdrawing the unsupported breadth. The epistemic blocker is discharged.
Reconciliation correctly treats the old filtering and withdrawal conflicts as resolved in these pinned members. Memory's still-worded request to narrow the baseline is historical correction context, not a contrary current selector finding. Reconciliation's introductory statement that no correction answers were supplied is inaccurate for this handout, but its dispositions explicitly rely on current records, which I checked against source. I dismiss that process-description discrepancy as nonmaterial to the source account and record identities; it supplies no warrant for the repairs. No remaining source-unsettled disagreement was identified.
Record, evidence and authority checks
I assessed every declaration, annotation, source anchor, evidence/status distinction and Part of: relation. The groups below give the substantive dispositions, not a complete repository audit or a repetition of deterministic link/schema/quotation-occurrence checks. Cited records retain the minimum supporting passages unless a newly retained limit below supplies its own.
| Records assessed | Independent evidence trace and disposition |
|---|---|
| RT-CMP-model2vec, RT-CMP-fastembed, RT-CMP-reranker, MEM-OBJ-semantic-index | SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/semantic.py: provider choice, offline environment guard, exception fallback, unpinned model names, bounded embedding input, text/model-key invalidation and vector reuse support the findings. Available reranking is disabled by explicit off-like values, not by an absent switch. Focused MCP uses overfetch/fusion; shared query does not invoke that wrapper. Derived vectors are not provider-parameter training. External weights and operation remain uninspected. |
| RT-RTE-memory-admission, MEM-OBJ-memory-claim, MEM-OBJ-memory-controls, MEM-OBJ-retrieval-context, EPI-OBJ-memory-page, EPI-RTE-memory-check, EPI-RTE-memory-disposition | SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/memory.py, mcp_package/link_mcp/server.py, serve.py: shared new-write checks precede persistence and are caller-overrideable. Accepted writes are active/pending, with no human-approval credential consumed. Claim text, symbolic controls and selector-only context have different consumers; slim output removes body/context. The valid page container can coexist with those parts. Checking and disposition are separate functions, not truth acceptance. Supported. |
| MEM-RTE-memory-lifecycle, EPI-RTE-memory-update, EPI-RTE-review-marking, EPI-RTE-memory-withdrawal | SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/memory.py: update appends, resets review and does not recompute TLDR or perform the new-write secret screen. Review marks/re-arms metadata with optional note; restore leaves independent expiry intact. Archive retains bytes, and confirmed forget deletes the current file and repairs/redacts references, not every copy. Narrow lifecycle operations do not replace the broader valid lifecycle container. Supported with the delivery and historical-body limits retained below. |
| RT-RTE-context-recall, MEM-RTE-wiki-read, MEM-OBJ-wiki-cache, EPI-RTE-context-compaction, EPI-RTE-recall-assessment, EPI-RTE-path-staleness | SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/query.py, mcp_package/link_core/wiki.py, mcp_package/link_core/search.py, mcp_package/link_core/memory.py, mcp_package/link_core/staleness.py, mcp_package/link_mcp/server.py: traced selection through final delivery. Focused confidence judges matching, not truth; abstention is advisory and branch-specific. Missing-path checking is bounded and does not rewrite claims. Fixed clipping and capsule fields do not preserve every qualifier or enforce a host-window cap. Both generic/focused branches and rebuildable cache lineage are correctly distinguished. |
| RT-RTE-session-capture, MEM-OBJ-session-capture, MEM-OBJ-dismissed-proposals, MEM-RTE-capture-cleanup, EPI-OBJ-capture-proposal, EPI-RTE-proposal-normalization | SRC-1, link.py, mcp_package/link_core/capture.py, mcp_package/link_core/memory.py: automatic capture mines bounded user turns and filters echoes/duplicates/pending/dismissed proposals; manual/import routes differ. Acceptance re-mines retained source and transfers selected claim/context/source, not a frozen numbered proposal or full trail. Confirmed rejection retains bounded fingerprint history; dedup removal does not mean rejection. Speaker-prefix and temporal-lead-in removal support the normalization counterexamples as source deductions, not executed observations. Supported. |
| RT-RTE-session-delivery, MEM-OBJ-handoff, MEM-RTE-guard-reminder, MEM-OBJ-usage-ledger, MEM-RTE-usage-feedback | SRC-1, link.py, mcp_package/link_mcp/server.py, mcp_package/link_core/handoff.py, mcp_package/link_core/guard.py, mcp_package/link_core/usage.py: startup and first-response delivery independently supply context. Server-process state is not authenticated session identity. Handoff is retained task text with expiry/history, not delegated execution. Guard selects lexical overlap and consults retained cooldown events; it advises confirmation, not action blocking. Accounting measures surfacing and can affect repetition; optional salience does not establish production ranking adaptation or benefit. Supported, with MCP guard targeting limited below. |
| RT-RTE-agent-wiki, MEM-OBJ-wiki-pages, EPI-OBJ-wiki-page, WF-RTE-wiki-validation and workflow account | SRC-1, LINK.md, skills/link-ingest/SKILL.md, mcp_package/link_core/ingest.py, mcp_package/link_core/validation.py, link.py: secret/access conditions withhold the suggested ingest prompt; external agent owns arbitrary-source interpretation, writes, repair and reporting. Validation checks structure/links/dates/secret patterns, passes warnings by default and supplies a post-write completion constraint, not rollback or source entailment. Instructions afford theories and request criticism but supply no candidate episode or criticism-shaped iteration. Separate runtime theory-builder conditions and property limits are supported. |
| RT-RTE-structured-ingest, EPI-RTE-export-rendering, EPI-RTE-wiki-validation, EPI-RTE-staged-disposition | SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/structured_ingest.py, mcp_package/link_core/validation.py: ownership hashes, explicit unmanaged adoption/pruning, retained stale outputs, bracket escaping and preset confidence support the reports. Apply stages/rebuilds/checks before live copying, with caught-copy rollback. This is finite structural/ownership admission, not truth acceptance or crash/concurrency isolation. Renderer counts have the stated input-relative domain. Supported. |
| RT-RTE-project-seed, RT-RTE-source-import and memory annotations | SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/project_seed.py, mcp_package/link_core/obsidian.py, mcp_package/link_core/importers.py, link.py: seed selects/renders raw provenance and a directly recalled source page; vault import copies raw bytes for later ingest; instruction imports enter curated proposal capture. Initiation/overwrite, secret/error checks and dry-run do not authenticate per-content approval or source truth. Supported within the declared rendering limits. |
| RT-RTE-workspace-sync, RT-RTE-local-recovery, RT-OBJ-operation-journal, MEM-RTE-retained-export | SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/sync.py, mcp_package/link_core/operations.py, mcp_package/link_core/files.py, mcp_package/link_core/backup.py, mcp_package/link_core/snapshot.py, mcp_package/link_core/audit_export.py, mcp_package/link_core/share.py: adoption/recovery and outgoing privacy gates differ from new-memory admission. Team copies do not erase prior exports; filename conflicts keep local bytes. Per-file locks/replace and snapshots support best-effort recovery, not workspace serialization. Backup validates after replacement. Snapshot force can remove output before sensitive-content refusal; audit retains summaries while omitting bodies. Prior copies prevent all-copy erasure. Supported. |
| RT-RTE-runtime-install, RT-OBJ-link-instructions, RT-BAP-agent-steering, RT-BAP-context-packet | SRC-1, mcp_package/pyproject.toml, mcp_package/link_core/agent_instructions.py, mcp_package/link_core/agent_hooks.py, integrations/claude-code/install.sh, apps/LinkBar/Sources/LinkBar/LinkCLI.swift, apps/LinkBar/Sources/LinkBar/LinkStore.swift: packaging, installed templates/configuration and explicit subprocess repair afford later operation. Smaller tool registration is not smaller filesystem authority. Natural-language policy and readiness checks do not prove host obedience or product truth acceptance. HTTP gates in serve.py and mcp_package/link_core/web_http.py are local request policy, not authenticated approval or OS isolation. Supported. |
| RT-RTE-recall-evaluation, MEM-RTE-memory-evaluation, RT-CLM-approved-memory, EPI-CLM-source-backed, EPI-CLM-confidence-tags, EPI-CLM-review-accuracy | SRC-1, scripts/eval_recall_quality.py, scripts/eval_memory_hygiene.py, scripts/eval_memory_poisoning.py, LINK.md, mcp_package/link_core/query.py: target-ID rank oracle, simulated supersession and warning/refusal outcomes have the bounded meanings reported. Exit failure can affect an invoking process, not automatically production. Approval, source lineage, authored confidence and accuracy review are distinct doctrine claims; no claim-instance evidence-consuming acceptance is supplied. No evaluator run or causal effect is established. |
Every declared containment relation identifies a concrete part of its named runtime route: output/control/selector material, capture/rejection transformation, generic read branch, guard supply, rendering/check/disposition, or post-authoring completion. Shared objects spanning multiple routes are properly compared rather than forced into one parent. Components, objects, routes, claims and behavioral-authority paths retain distinct identities; there are no declared evidenced absences to mistake for search misses. wired and implemented are supported at their named code boundaries; requested agent behavior remains instruction wiring or doctrine, not observed compliance.
Both amendments in reconciliation are supported. The wiki object IDs identify the same Markdown output family, and the consolidation IDs identify the same read-only builder in SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/consolidate.py. Their canonical memory records preserve rather than erase the epistemic findings. Page, lifecycle, capture and runtime containers remain valid alongside narrower parts. Reusable validation and the workflow's post-write invocation share implementation but differ in scope/consumer force. No valid container is wrongly superseded. All seven memory integration issues have compatible or repaired dispositions in reconciliation; no missing material part or unresolved conflict prevents the bounded conclusions.
Consequential omission search and stopping decision
The frozen tracked tree, shipped CLI/MCP/HTTP/Swift callers and producer/consumer dependencies guided three questions, not only the analysts' listed anchors.
First, could ordinary consumers bypass withdrawal/project predicates? Independent enumeration-to-search-to-context-to-packet tracing settled this positively and confirmed both repairs. MCP recall dispatch also confirms context_path is forwarded only in focused memory mode, while its guard call omits the resolved project. Full-context/file alternatives and prior copies remain distinct exceptions. No universal visibility or withdrawal claim is accepted.
Second, could trace-derived state alter later behavior without learned provider parameters or applied consolidation? Automatic dismissal filtering and guard cooldown are positive witnesses. Usage recording is bounded surfacing metadata. Inspected ordinary query/focused wrappers do not pass salience; the retained comment is reported history, not an experiment reproduced here. Added reading of the digest builder in SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/consolidate.py confirms that its learned/aging labels summarize records and return commands without installing a successor. These dispositions preserve the reports' positive feedback paths without inferring improvement or a system-complete adaptation absence.
Third, could alternate maintenance/adoption routes change the strength or ownership of admission? Sync/team import, backup restore, structured stage application and local HTTP/LinkBar writes have different gates from ordinary memory creation. Added independent reading of SRC-1, mcp_package/link_core/doctor.py confirms source-page shape repair, retained below as an inventory limit. It does not replace external-agent arbitrary-source interpretation or establish a semantic truth oracle.
Further optional omission expansion stopped because these questions have supported dispositions and no identified material challenge remains unresolved. Uninspected host variants, other evaluator bodies, complete UI/security/concurrency behavior and external provider internals prevent exhaustive parity, effectiveness and system-complete negative comparisons. They do not prevent the bounded source account. No available unread path is treated as inaccessible or absent.
