Verification

The pinned reports support a bounded source-grounded account. The previous workflow and dependent reconciliation blockers are repaired. I read the complete invocation, member contracts, reports, correction answers, structural check and previous verification. Runtime, memory and epistemic answers are empty; workflow supplies one correction argument. The structural check reports none, so it creates no structural blocker. I independently rechecked the consequential behavior against SRC-1, including the corrected admission path, rather than accepting the correction answer or previous verification as proof. Checkout HEAD and the tracked top-level tree agree with the boundary. No target code, tests, examples, providers or services were executed.

Correction disposition

The workflow account and its annotation now distinguish absence of the caller's draft flag from strict per-page admission. I followed full returned markdown through SRC-1 src/gateway/plan.py, per-update validation and serialization in src/gateway/ops/apply_plan.py, and draft-sensitive section/citation checks in src/gateway/validator.py. The model can supply truthy draft frontmatter independently of the caller. Citation-loss and body-shrink checks precede that selection and remain active. The corrected report preserves this distinction in selection, model handoff, verification, repair, delivery and later use, without presenting draft mode as a bypass of every check.

The operative selection is:

is_draft = bool(front.get("draft")) or draft --- src/gateway/ops/apply_plan.py

The repair loop in SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/ingest.py consumes application success, not warning-free strict validation:

errors = [] if result.success else list(result.errors) --- src/gateway/ops/ingest.py

Thus draft-downgraded warnings alone need not initiate repair. The report correctly retains the additional condition for strict checks, the one error-fed repair attempt, immediate client-exception failure, capped prior-response handoff, rejected-plan persistence and source-only successful delivery. SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/ingest.py, src/gateway/plan.py and src/gateway/cli.py support these separate outcomes. The reconciliation now carries the same qualification in its authorship disposition and remaining-limits passage. Neither passage repeats the former strict-path inference. Both earlier blockers are discharged.

Record and evidence dispositions

I assessed all 62 declarations: 21 runtime, 20 memory and 21 epistemic records, plus the workflow annotation. I checked the meaning of their source anchors, evidence strengths, progression, consumers, scope and status fields. The groups below cover every declared kind and the epistemic ledger functions. Deterministic quotation occurrence and reference syntax remain the validator's responsibility. No member declares an evidenced absence; scoped noninspection does not become one.

  • Components, envelopes and instruction authority. The five components, two envelopes, gateway doctrine and three authority paths in runtime Shared records retain defensible distinctions. SRC-1 src/gateway/llm/config.py, src/gateway/llm/client.py, src/gateway/llm/api_client.py, src/gateway/retrieval_encoder.py, .knowledge/retrieval.yaml and src/gateway/vlm.py distinguish model request names from exact weight pins, inference from parameter changes, and default tool-free calls from vision's Read grant. Provider internals remain unresolved. Plan payloads are current-run proposals; intent JSON is durable control/payload state, not accepted wiki content. SRC-1 CLAUDE.md, .claude/settings.json, .claude/hooks/precompact-snapshot.sh and .claude/hooks/session-start-reanchor.sh support hook/instruction delivery, not completed checkpoint authorship, rereading or compliance. The host-request operation in the epistemic ledger can remain doctrine only while instruction delivery is wired: these assess different transitions.
  • Ingest, deposits and finalization. RT-RTE-ingest-authorship, RT-RTE-deposit-commit and RT-RTE-draft-finalization preserve separate source, source-page and authored-page admissions. SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/ingest.py, src/gateway/ops/apply_plan.py, src/gateway/ops/deposit.py, src/gateway/ops/committer.py, src/gateway/intent_queue.py and src/gateway/commit_gate.py support warning-only authorship failure, exception rather than crash-atomic rollback, durable enqueue before canonical commit, verbatim rendering, route-specific locks and HEAD rather than live-file comparison. The volatile receipt does not control the inspected ordinary drain branch. Source-shaped deposits and renderer-supported page kinds differ. Strict finalization in src/gateway/ops/finalize.py removes draft metadata before validation; src/gateway/agents/draft_closer.py tests per-line source links rather than both documented easy-win conditions. None establishes factual entailment or observed recovery success.
  • Content, selectors and read-back. Raw/wiki/index/vector/artifact objects in memory Shared records, MEM-RTE-neighborhood-fetch and RT-RTE-retrieve-answer distinguish retained bodies from metadata and derived ranking state. SRC-1 src/gateway/search_index.py, src/gateway/retrieval_index.py, src/gateway/ops/retrieve.py, src/gateway/ops/context_op.py and src/gateway/ops/answer.py support live section reload, mtime/size refresh, page-level trust, draft eligibility, single-domain fusion and multi-domain lexical quotas. First-block, whole-root and JSON budget exceptions are material and retained. Truncation can lose attribution; surviving citation membership does not prove support. Vector dimensional compatibility does not identify exact weights or establish complete freshness.
  • Retained feedback and other writers. The examples, demand, evaluation, provenance and session objects retain their different contents and consumers. MEM-RTE-example-correction and MEM-BAP-example-calibration correctly trace decision/rationale reuse rather than full task-trace learning. SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/filter_correct.py, src/gateway/filter/semantic.py, src/gateway/ops/ingest.py and src/gateway/ops/finetune.py show selected rationale delivery and separately capped distillation inputs. MEM-RTE-demand-feedback is supported by src/gateway/demand_ledger.py, src/gateway/ops/preflight.py and worker dispatch: repeated query history can produce an empty-bodied synthesis intent, not a researched answer. MEM-RTE-digest-authoring, MEM-RTE-local-amendments and MEM-RTE-artifact-filing retain distinct direct-write and validation mechanisms. SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/daily_digest.py, src/gateway/ops/edit_section.py, src/gateway/ops/concept_add.py, src/gateway/ops/question.py and src/gateway/ops/nlm.py support these distinctions, including the briefing payload/wrapper collision and empty explicit source list. Generic indexing of a wrapper is not decoding of its linked binary payload.
  • Policy and runtime controls. The distillation, bootstrap, policy-edit and skill-emission routes in runtime Routes correctly separate candidate retention, live installation and host instruction generation. SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/finetune.py, src/gateway/ops/bootstrap_domain.py, src/gateway/commit_gate.py and src/gateway/ops/skill_emit.py support route-local gates, direct bootstrap writes and deterministic title/policy-derived skill output. Conditional theory assessments do not mistake schema repair or numerical selection for content-directed criticism and iteration. Learning, reflection and autonomy remain independently qualified rather than bundled negatives. The runtime account's HTTP, MCP, scheduler and vision guarantees are also local: SRC-1 src/gateway/web/app.py, src/gateway/web/auth.py, src/gateway/mcp_server.py, src/gateway/tier.py, src/gateway/scheduler.py and src/gateway/vlm.py do not establish universal filesystem isolation or a common tool envelope.
  • Evaluator licenses and public claims. The four object containers, three claim records and ledger functions in epistemic Shared records and claim comparison preserve the difference between checking, disposition, retention and use. SRC-1 src/gateway/citations.py and src/gateway/validator.py test citation-shaped coverage, not claim/source entailment; answer cleanup deletes unknown links without challenging surviving prose. src/gateway/evaluate/runner.py, src/gateway/evaluate/judge.py, src/gateway/evaluate/wiki_context.py, src/gateway/evaluate/retrieval_eval.py, src/gateway/ops/calibration.py and src/gateway/ops/status.py support separate model reference-fit judgments, first-expected-slug measurement, candidate label agreement and trend display. Model score rescue is not independent recomputation. These checks license neither universal factual acceptance nor demonstrated improvement. SRC-1 README.md, WIKI.md and CLAUDE.md support the attributed grounding/provenance/write claims; implementation exceptions justify the reports' bounded comparisons rather than a universal negative about the system.
  • Conflict, withdrawal and recovery. EPI-RTE-contradiction-scan, the deposit conflict parts, reversal/retraction/orphan records, MEM-RTE-source-maintenance and MEM-RTE-corpus-recovery retain operational rather than truth-adjudicating force. SRC-1 src/gateway/lint/contradictions.py, src/gateway/ops/contradiction_sweeper.py, src/gateway/ops/contradiction_drift.py, src/gateway/ops/contradiction.py and src/gateway/commit_gate.py support capped candidate scans, retained draft diagnoses, lexical old/new precedence, caller-derived incoming source category and coarse annotation removal. src/gateway/pollers/pubmed_retractions.py, src/gateway/lint/retracted_citations.py and src/gateway/ops/reingest.py preserve bodies while changing warning/lineage metadata. src/gateway/ops/remediate.py, src/gateway/ops/reverse_merge.py and gate handlers distinguish selection-time reachability from delayed deletion and provenance-fed restoration. These findings do not establish universal withdrawal or safe recovery under every concurrent edit.
  • Remote research and local filing. RT-RTE-research-query and its memory annotation preserve the distinction between registry/source-map state and opaque provider-visible content. SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/query.py and src/gateway/research/orchestrator.py support optional plan review, map reuse, structural local application, session abandonment through application failure and warning-only post-application promotion. Neither citation-diversity probing nor a successful local filing would disclose the provider's complete indexed corpus or inference warrant.

Relations and reconciliation

The five explicit Part of: fields correctly preserve runtime containers: citation checking within ingest, answer cleanup within retrieve-answer, calibration within distillation, and conflict selection/materialization within deposit-commit. Each part has an independently meaningful check or consequence. Reuse of a checker by another caller does not invalidate its role in the declared container.

The two amendments in reconciliation resolve duplicate source-text/raw-input and filter-correction/example-reuse identities without changing their findings or statuses. The page, evaluation, guidance and recovery containers are broader than their overlapping memory records and remain valid; their distinct consumers should not be flattened. Reconciliation dispositions cover the memory integration issues, additional calibration inspection, artifact collision, trust/withdrawal qualifications and host delivery/request distinction. There is no unresolved-conflict paragraph, and I found no source-unsettled cross-report disagreement requiring one. The corrected workflow resolves the identified strictness error rather than moving it into Limits.

Consequential omission questions and stopping decision

I selected omission questions using the tracked tree, CLI/MCP operation inventory and producer/consumer dependencies, including shipped background agents rather than treating them as external callers.

  1. Could another policy producer defeat the route-local gate account? SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/promote_domain.py directly writes proposal-derived policy and domain tags; src/gateway/ops/example_bank.py also exposes direct legacy-policy conversion. These reinforce the reports' nonuniversal gate finding. Their complete admission/recovery chains are not retained as separate records; this remains the inventory limit below, not a reason to erase supported policy-edit or bootstrap findings.
  2. Could background triage establish hidden factual acceptance or universal example capture? SRC-1 src/gateway/agents/inbox_triage.py selects policy/examples, scores source text, updates filter/domain metadata and writes review entries. These are editorial signals, not source-factuality acceptance. A bounded search of src/gateway/ for pinned_by= finds correction and legacy-backfill producers plus storage/load handling. src/gateway/ops/example_bank.py imports caller-supplied legacy decisions/rationales; it does not authenticate their original authorship. Selected example reuse remains supported; universal automatic accumulation and provenance comparisons remain open.
  3. Does corrected workflow selection now account for every identified admission control on its own path? Following the parser, per-update validator, draft downgrade and repair consumer confirms the correction above. No identified remaining strictness inference depends solely on the caller flag. Local application, successful CLI return and Git commit remain separate delivery boundaries.

The additionally inspected legacy-policy write is implementation evidence, not evidence of exercised migration:

target = paths.policies_dir() / domain_slug / "policy.yaml" target.parent.mkdir(parents=True, exist_ok=True) target.write_text(yaml.safe_dump(canonical, sort_keys=False, allow_unicode=True)) --- src/gateway/ops/example_bank.py

Further optional omission expansion stopped because these consequential questions have supported dispositions and no identified material challenge remains undisposed. The reports already withhold exhaustive converter, maintenance, remote-withdrawal and host-behavior conclusions. Additional files alone do not justify an exhaustive audit; uninspected behavior is not evidenced absence. All operation and benefit claims remain limited by missing execution evidence, as the records themselves state.

Limits

  • RT-RTE-policy-edit, RT-RTE-policy-bootstrap and the memory coverage inventory do not enumerate every live-policy producer or background source-curation route. SRC-1 src/gateway/ops/promote_domain.py admits proposal-derived policy/domain tags through direct locked writes; src/gateway/ops/example_bank.py directly converts legacy policy; src/gateway/agents/inbox_triage.py separately updates source filter/domain metadata. Their complete admission, rollback and later-consumer chains are not retained as separate records. Withhold exhaustive policy/source-curation route comparisons; the supported route-local dual gate, bootstrap bypass and selected example-reuse findings remain valid. The promotion write is explicit:

    for w in pending: w.path.parent.mkdir(parents=True, exist_ok=True) write_atomic(w.path, w.content) --- src/gateway/ops/promote_domain.py

  • MEM-OBJ-section-vectors, MEM-RTE-corpus-recovery and EPI-RTE-depath-recovery retain incomplete vector-removal and reverse-merge preservation coverage. SRC-1 src/gateway/retrieval_index.py checks cache mtime and query-vector dimension, not exact encoder identity; public restore reloads recorded provenance content in src/gateway/ops/reverse_merge.py. These support specific selection/restoration capacities, not a complete guarantee that every edit/delete refreshes every ranking or every reversal preserves intervening changes. Withhold universal freshness and recovery-safety comparisons.
