Reconciliation

Shared boundary and record identities

All four reports use the documentary boundary and SRC-1 registered in boundary. The complete captured paper does not establish executable conformance, independently inspectable operation or causal benefit. The runtime's design conclusion status claimed and the epistemic ledger's architectural status doctrine only describe this same evidence basis in different vocabularies; neither upgrades the other.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-memory-content is superseded by MEM-OBJ-content. Both identify the natural-language content string c of a long-term memory entry, including its replacement, stored in the abstract external store and consumed after retrieval. Their SRC-1 Appendix A.1 tuple and Add/Update evidence identifies the same operative payload, not different artifacts. The memory record separates that payload from embeddings and access metadata; the epistemic record assesses its truth-apt scope and unresolved acceptance. The epistemic inventory and ledger references to this payload concern the same object. Both declarations and their findings remain; supersession selects an identity, not a stronger status or an accepted-content finding.

Amendment: EPI-RTE-memory-maintenance is superseded by MEM-RTE-store-maintenance. Both trace a policy-generated Add/Update/Delete request through described store insertion, replacement or removal to later retrieval candidates, under the same policy/executor ownership and SRC-1 Appendix A.1 operation definitions and Figure 7 schemas. Their declared design, implementation and operation statuses agree. The epistemic retention and lineage ledger rows assess functions of this same route, not separate executions. Its meaningful-maintenance quotation and the memory report's cleanup/protocol limits remain applicable without treating installation as epistemic acceptance.

Amendment: EPI-RTE-explicit-retrieval is superseded by MEM-RTE-requested-retrieval. Both identify model-requested query/top-k retrieval from the current store, cosine selection, insertion into active context and later policy reasoning, supported by SRC-1 Appendix A.1's Retrieve definition. The memory record additionally retains the optional metadata restriction from Figure 6, its default count and unresolved rendering/order. These are details of the same route, not evidence for a distinct retrieval mechanism. The epistemic ledger's selection-without-truth-warrant finding concerns this route; supersession does not remove that finding or imply its shorter selector description denies metadata filtering.

The remaining overlaps are not duplicate identities:

Cross-report convergence

The workflow annotates RT-RTE-task-rollout and RT-RTE-policy-update without new declarations. Its account connects stage-local memory transfer, transformed context, algorithmic answer return and subsequent optimization. The memory report supplies the payload and experience distinctions; the epistemic report supplies separate licenses for generation, retention, selection and checking. These accounts converge on a declared loop without claiming authenticated exercise.

The workflow's NULL return on bounded exhaustion agrees with the runtime rollout's initialized no-answer path. EPI-RTE-answer-reward describes the specified no-answer penalty, while executable handling remains uninspected. An algorithmic return, a training score and verified delivery are therefore separate conclusions, not competing completion criteria.

The memory annotation on RT-RTE-policy-update and the epistemic reward records distinguish trace input, numerical supervision and changed parameters. EPI-RTE-storage-reward, EPI-RTE-relevance-reward, EPI-RTE-context-reward and EPI-RTE-telemetry-reward have different targets. Their results feed the composite optimization signal; they do not establish per-entry acceptance or live withholding of an answer. Uniform terminal-advantage broadcast is not individual-action causal attribution. The workflow likewise distinguishes policy adjustment from repair of the completed episode.

Benchmark routes retain operation conclusion status claimed for author-reported comparisons, while the runtime's training routes retain operation conclusion status uninspected. These concern different routes and remain bounded by the same lack of inspectable runs. The epistemic architectural status remains doctrine only; no strongest-status selection is warranted. EPI-CLM-memory-quality concerns the authors' inference of reusable knowledge from MQ, not the oracle contract itself. EPI-CLM-maintenance-quality and EPI-CLM-reward-benefit similarly distinguish quality and bundled benefit claims from the runtime's update mechanism.

Integration dispositions and remaining limits

No unresolved disagreement between the supplied reports was found. No analyst correction answers or declined cross-report objections were supplied. The memory report's integration issues propose no correction to runtime findings. Its no-duplication comparison concerns the supplied runtime; the three amendments above connect overlapping memory and epistemic declarations without contradicting that comparison.

The following source discrepancies and unknowns are shared limitations, not conflicts between reports:

  • RT-CLM-tool-protocol retains the illustrative Summary full versus operational all/numeric discrepancy. MEM-CLM-case-protocol adds a distinct Delete confirmed versus confirmation discrepancy and an unshown prior retrieval for Update. Their source examples do not establish dispatcher acceptance, enforcement or transaction success. Neither claim supersedes the other.
  • RT-CLM-context-reset retains the prose's withheld-query intention alongside q in early-stage state tuples. All lenses preserve unresolved model-visible serialization; none concludes actual leakage or universal leak prevention. Selected retrieval also does not establish full-store awareness.
  • RT-RTE-context-summary, its memory annotation and MEM-OBJ-summary preserve span, counting and system-message uncertainties. RT-RTE-context-filter and its memory annotation preserve keep/remove polarity, unknown automatic criterion derivation and whole-message removal limits. The epistemic overlay treats summary semantics as indeterminate and filtering as selection of surviving content, not a truth check. Together these findings prevent a reliable essential-information-preservation conclusion.
  • MEM-OBJ-access-metadata, MEM-RTE-store-maintenance and MEM-RTE-requested-retrieval leave authentication, durable reload, historical reasons and withdrawal propagation unresolved. The declared stage-local horizon does not establish lifelong persistence or removal from already delivered context, summaries or weights.
  • RT-RTE-policy-update retains the 1.0 versus 1/3 reward-scale discrepancy. The memory annotation and epistemic telemetry record preserve it rather than choose a value. Unknown scorer versions, checkpoint lineage and recovery prevent reproducible update or deployment claims. The maintenance occurrence indicator and query-token preservation proxy are narrower than meaningful repair and full semantic fidelity.
  • The epistemic bounded conclusion distinguishes specified outcome-responsive adaptation from unestablished exercised self-improvement, reflection and formulated theory criticism. Runtime and memory retain the same limits on opaque processing and scalar supervision. These are separate uncertainties, not an asserted system-wide absence of learning or epistemic activity.

Reconciliation required no additional source read. All identity evidence and limitations above come from the pinned member records; their source passages remain with their declaring analysts.
