Logical record 8. Orchestrator-owned. Registers lens proposals under canonical IDs, applies corrections, checks ownership and shared-route consistency, and preserves anchored conflicts as conflicts.


8.1 Registration of lens proposals

Only the orchestrator allocates canonical IDs. Proposal tags (MEM-n, EPI-n) are discarded here and do not appear in the emitted result. Any proposal whose concrete identity was already registered is merged, not re-issued.

8.2 Amendments to canonical records

Each amendment names the superseded value and the evidence anchor. Per step 3, work that relied on a corrected value is rerun; §8.5 records that no lens output required rerunning, because both lenses derived their findings from the source facts directly rather than from the superseded prose.

Records found wrong on their own terms: two, both the orchestrator's — A9 (a misclassification in packet §4d) and A10 (an unscoped property in the runtime account). Both were caught by a lens and are amended here with the superseded value preserved. No lens record was found wrong.


8.3 Duplicate merge by canonical ID

Two step-8.3 guards checked explicitly:

  • Memory curation labels cannot determine epistemic transformation. The memory lens labelled RTE-7 "index maintenance"; the epistemic lens independently classified the same route non-ampliative reshaping from the code, not from the label. Neither label was derived from the other. Likewise the memory lens's finding that no consolidate/import/merge label exists anywhere in the boundary was used only to note that no curation label is available to be mistaken for semantic preservation — it established nothing about warrant.
  • Behavioral influence cannot imply epistemic or operational authority. BAP-1 carries advisory instruction force toward the model, and the epistemic lens nonetheless recorded RTE-2 (a)'s epistemic authority as none licensed by the boundary ("publication of a claim is not warrant for it") and its operational authority as none ("the server affords, the host disposes"). The three authorities were not collapsed.

8.5 Shared-route consistency

Every shared route was checked for one revision, consistent sources, endpoints, objects, and BAP-* references.

No lens required rerunning. Both derived their findings from the source facts at the cited line numbers rather than from the two superseded orchestrator statements (A9, A10). A9 does not change any CLM-5 finding — the mismatch is unchanged and now attaches to an unambiguous claim. A10 narrows a runtime property that neither lens's conclusions depended on.


8.6 Preserved conflicts

Anchored evidence conflicts are preserved as conflicts, never resolved by selecting the strongest-sounding status.

No conflict above was resolved by preferring the stronger-sounding status, and none was collapsed into a single "the system does X" statement.


8.7 Evidence-tier and upgrade audit

  • Overall tier remains code-grounded, unchanged by either lens. Both lenses' findings sit at implemented, claimed, absent, or uninspected; neither produced an observed or causally supported status anywhere, and both restated the ABS-8 ceiling at the points where it bites.
  • Context presence → activation: not upgraded. The memory lens recorded presence implemented on the wire only and activation uninspected, explicitly declining absent because no boundary exists in which activation could have appeared.
  • Implementation → observed operation: not upgraded. Every epistemic observed-candidate-state field is no instance observed; the method's rule that implementation or doctrine alone cannot establish an observed state was applied without exception.
  • Observation → causality: vacuous here — there is no observation to upgrade.
  • Operational continuation → warrant: not upgraded. Retention (RTE-6, RTE-7) was recorded as licensing nothing, and admission (RTE-4 (b)) was explicitly separated from acceptance.
  • The two implemented vocabularies were kept apart. The epistemic lens's architectural statuses (implemented, doctrine only, no route found within boundary) are recorded in its own terms throughout lens-epistemic.md and are not rewritten into this instruction's conclusion-status vocabulary anywhere in this run. Where both apply to the same fact, both terms are recorded: e.g. RTE-7 is architecturally implemented (epistemic namespace) and the wrapper's conclusion status for "branch grouping exists" is implemented (wrapper namespace) — two fields, coincidentally the same word, recorded separately.
