Operational Ontology Framework boundary

Boundary and evidence
This run examines the published Operational Ontology Framework as a conceptual memory/knowledge/context-engineering system for AI-assisted organizational work. Its intended use is to make operational state, governing rules, action authority and session continuity explicit. It qualifies through its prescribed state and context handling for model-assisted work, not through an executable runtime. The boundary includes the entire public reference artifact, but only a partial operational loop: the implementation, state storage and model-facing execution are not published. The disposition is complete for this doc-grounded boundary; it does not mean the operational system is fully inspectable.
The classification rests on the four retained-state roles declared in SRC-1, README.md:
| Pin | Stable identity, domain boundaries and non-negotiable rules | Low | | Spec | Current objective, tasks, blockers and acceptance criteria | High | | Handoff | Session continuity: decisions, attempts, results and next action | Append-only | | Facts | Long-term observations with source, date and confidence | Medium | ---
README.md
Functional inclusions are the Data/Logic/Action separation, the four state artifacts, authority and evidence requirements, write-back, failure patterns and the manual weekly-review example. The example traces declared consumption and maintenance: AI prepares a draft, a human reviews it, and approved status and blockers are recorded in an authorized organizational source. These are prescribed responsibilities, not demonstrated persistence or retrieval behavior (SRC-1, docs/dla-model.md, docs/governance-principles.md, docs/conceptual-example.md).
The AI prepares a prioritized draft for human review. It does not contact clients or update the source system. ---
docs/conceptual-example.mdThe approved status and remaining blockers are recorded in the organization's authorized source. A short handoff preserves the next review point. ---
docs/conceptual-example.md
Repository-tree inspection and inspection of every tracked file found no shipped agent entry point, model-call client, persistence/reload driver, artifact template, or behavioral evaluator. The executable material is repository publication CI, not a caller of an agent or state API: it checks the public file allowlist, scans content and checks linked pages. No target code, CI, example or test was executed (SRC-1, .github/workflows/public-surface.yml). The reference explicitly distinguishes its artifact from a production implementation:
This example is intentionally non-executable. It illustrates the D+L+A separation without defining a production implementation. ---
docs/conceptual-example.mdIt does not publish the implementation used by FSTech or its clients. ---
README.md
The frozen evidence is exclusively the acquired Git repository at 3df5d896da2a1e488e1eb325feddf190ad77990d; the inspected checkout HEAD matches that pin. The applicability cutoff is 2026-10-18. The overall evidence tier is doc-grounded: the system account is doctrine/design. Inspectable CI implementation supports only claims about repository publication checks, not agent operation. There are no supplied execution traces or causal experiments.
Artifact coverage
All tracked top-level entries were inspected; none is silently treated as an external application. This table records the complete public artifact, not coverage of the unpublished runtime (SRC-1).
| Top-level entry | Treatment and inspected material | Role and conclusion limit |
|---|---|---|
README.md |
Included; complete file | English entry point, state artifact roles, public boundary and external kit links; not executable prompts or schemas. |
README.pt-BR.md |
Included; complete file | Portuguese entry point and public conceptual account; supplies no additional implementation. |
docs/ |
Included; what-is-operational-ontology.md, dla-model.md, governance-principles.md, anti-patterns.md, conceptual-example.md |
Entire detailed reference: state, rules, action, evidence, write-back and manual consumer example. Prescriptions cannot establish enforcement, storage format, actual reload, or evaluated outcomes. |
.github/ |
Included as publication infrastructure; CODEOWNERS, workflows/public-surface.yml |
Ownership, allowlist/content checks and external-page reachability checks. Not an operational-state maintainer or agent evaluator; no CI run evidence supplied. |
.markdownlint.json |
Included as publication configuration; complete file | Markdown lint settings, not validation of operational state or action authority. |
CONTRIBUTING.md |
Included as distribution context; complete file | Restricts public contributions and implementation submissions; no runtime admission mechanism. |
LICENSE |
Included as distribution context; complete file | Public-reference permissions and limits; not agent authorization logic. |
NOTICE.md |
Included as distribution context; complete file | Attribution and current-public-reference scope; historical distributions are not frozen evidence here. |
SECURITY.md |
Included as publication policy; complete file | Reporting and public-content boundaries; not production security controls. |
Exclusions, dependencies and access limits
- Unpublished implementation: private prompts, adapters, tools, integrations, deployment artifacts, operational datasets and evaluation suites are absent from this public source, rather than available but uninspected. Consequently this run cannot determine model invocation, context assembly, state admission/storage/reload, tool enforcement, retries, security effectiveness or production performance (SRC-1,
README.md). - Organizational host and human operator: the conceptual loop depends on an organization's authoritative data source, rules, reviewer and authorized write-back process. Their concrete interfaces and behavior are not supplied. These responsibilities must not be attributed to autonomous framework code; the example does not demonstrate that any proposed update was persisted or consumed in a later session (SRC-1,
docs/conceptual-example.md). - External pages and kits: the canonical definition, essay, Lite/Starter Kit and contact pages linked by the reference are outside the frozen source. No network capture was added. This prevents conclusions about their templates, instructions, implementations or present availability. The CI's URL checks are source-described checks, not evidence of successful access (SRC-1,
README.md,.github/workflows/public-surface.yml). - Safety and evaluation: the reference itself says implementation requires additional controls. No execution or evaluation evidence establishes that its recommendations prevent unsafe effects or improve continuity (SRC-1,
docs/governance-principles.md).
These controls are not implemented by Markdown artifacts. If an action can affect a person, system, account, payment or external channel, the public reference alone is insufficient. ---

Doctrine/design: public model and boundary, governance, manual consumer/write-back. Implementation: publication checks.
