Reconciliation

Boundary and basis

This reconciliation connects the supplied members within the frozen boundary. Its Source register supplies implementation and doctrine/design, not supplied observed runs or causal experiments. Source passages below are supplied by the cited records; no additional source reads were needed. No correction answers or refusal were supplied to this attempt.

Duplicate supersessions

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-rollout is superseded by MEM-OBJ-rollout. Both declare the same source-native Rollout/FlatSample/TurnSample family in SRC-1, src/jaz/hooks/builtin/rollout.py: frozen token turn records, terminal metadata and caller-exportable sample projections, not provider weights or live REPL state. The epistemic record's frozen-turn passage and the memory record's stand-down passage support their respective findings about this same referent. This identity affects the epistemic inventory and rollout ledger references; it does not replace either report's findings. The memory record retains its training-consumer affordance, while the epistemic account retains its limits on verified provenance, reward and acceptance. Both IDs remain declared and resolvable.

Amendment: EPI-RTE-rollout-export is superseded by MEM-RTE-rollout-export. Both trace completed token-bearing LLMQueryExit events through per-invocation accumulation and exit-time freezing to flat, piecewise or per-turn sample export in SRC-1, src/jaz/hooks/builtin/rollout.py. Both retain the same tokenless-completion stand-down and nonmonotone-flat-export rejection passages. These are duplicate routes, not separate retention and training mechanisms. The affected epistemic ledger rows distinguish retention from structural checking within that route; supersession does not merge those functions. Memory describes a documented external trainer affordance; epistemic leaves exercised trainer consumption uninspected. Neither establishes training, reward evaluation or improvement.

Containers, parts and distinct identities

MEM-OBJ-repl-history is a part of RT-OBJ-repl-state, not its duplicate. The former is the code-only history list; the latter is the invocation namespace that also binds inputs and tools. EPI-OBJ-repl-observation spans Continue output, rendered observations and history projection within RT-RTE-context-control. It overlaps the history finding but cannot replace the history-list referent: rendered messages and retained history have different consumers and omission rules. No identity or supersession follows from their shared projection passage. SRC-1, src/jaz/protocol/code_only.py supplies that passage in both analyst records.

EPI-RTE-observation-projection isolates the deterministic abbreviation/history subroute of RT-RTE-context-control. The runtime container also covers transient and persistent hook message edits. Both remain valid; no supersession is warranted. The epistemic deduction that an interior error can disappear from the next observation agrees with memory's full continuing-history retention finding, because they concern different consumer projections. The cited route retains the abbreviation passages from SRC-1, src/jaz/protocol/code_only.py and src/jaz/string_utils.py.

EPI-RTE-replay-comparison is the checking part of RT-RTE-trajectory-replay, not another saved-response serving route. Its equality checks set the divergence latch that the runtime serving route consumes. MEM-OBJ-atif-trajectory is a retained input artifact, not either route. Its text responses and repr summaries are distinct from token-native MEM-OBJ-token-stamp, rollout samples and the browsable MEM-OBJ-trajectory-directory. Different payloads, export rules and consumers rule out identity among these artifacts. The records retain the relevant serialization, normalization and serving passages in SRC-1, src/jaz/hooks/builtin/atif_trace.py, src/jaz/hooks/builtin/replay.py, src/jaz/llm/sglang.py and src/jaz/hooks/builtin/trajectory_directory.py.

EPI-OBJ-llm-response and EPI-OBJ-return-value name material products of RT-RTE-agent-loop and RT-RTE-hook-admission, respectively. They do not replace those routes. EPI-RTE-budget-forcing changes continuation by a refusal counter rather than a code/type/value predicate. EPI-RTE-swe-tools names optionally granted host-effect endpoints, not the general loop executor. Their records distinguish those identities with passages in SRC-1, src/jaz/hooks/builtin/budget_forcing.py and src/jaz/_library/swe.py.

The claim records also remain distinct: EPI-CLM-hook-contracts concerns validators and replay, EPI-CLM-protocol-framing concerns delimiter framing and attributed robustness reports, and EPI-CLM-token-rollouts concerns token export. None is identical to the scoped execution-policy claim RT-CLM-repl-policy. Their cited passages preserve these separate claim scopes.

Integration dispositions and independent convergence

Adapter scope. Memory's integration qualification on RT-CMP-llm is not a conflict. Runtime restricts its no-parameter-write finding to the inspected default invocation/adapter path and leaves other adapters uninspected. MEM-RTE-weight-update adds SGLang update transport in SRC-1, src/jaz/llm/sglang.py; its update-from-disk passage establishes that exposed request path, not server acceptance or subsequent changed behavior. This is distinct from selecting a configured model through RT-RTE-settings-admission. Epistemic's bounded conclusion does not claim a system-wide absence of parameter updates; it says the assessed routes alone do not establish them. No supersession of the provider component or settings route is warranted.

No closed training chain. MEM-RTE-rollout-export and MEM-RTE-weight-update have different owners and endpoints. No supplied record wires an external trainer between them. Their coexistence does not establish a trace-to-trained-policy loop. The epistemic structural-check finding converges with memory's distinction between sample export and demonstrated learning; neither report's uninspected consumer becomes an absence.

Console consumers and admission. MEM-OBJ-conversation-history, MEM-OBJ-helper-history and MEM-OBJ-readline-history are distinct: live main-turn payloads, helper proposal transcripts, and persisted line-editing inputs. They complement RT-RTE-console-turn, not duplicate it. Helper confirmation in RT-RTE-settings-admission licenses host execution; helper history records permission before execution, not verified success. RT-BAP-settings-load carries successfully stored choices into later console configuration. The memory annotations and epistemic ledger agree on these narrower authorities; neither consent nor a connectivity ping supplies an improvement criterion. The cited records retain the confirmation, exec and startup-load passages from SRC-1, src/jaz/console.py.

Derived workflow artifacts. Memory and epistemic both rely on RT-RTE-workflow-emission for event-derived Python output. Its Enter-time code capture and abnormal-exit finalization remain explicit in both dependent accounts. There is no stale dependency asserting that the emitter captures committed code or certifies successful work. Emission is distinct from automatic installation, later execution and equivalence. Available but uninspected converters, telemetry and replay concurrency remain limits on exhaustive retention or fidelity conclusions, not conflicts with the local findings.

Delegation, recovery and delivery. The workflow account adds no declarations or duplicate identities. Its annotations connect RT-RTE-recursive-invoke, RT-RTE-hook-admission and RT-RTE-agent-loop. Its local root list contract does not automatically propagate to children, whereas the surrounding depth hook does. Its bare-invoke binding caveat concerns the README example's wording, not disagreement with runtime's actual namespace binding. Workflow and epistemic independently distinguish typed delivery from substantive answer acceptance. Both preserve runtime's lack of rollback for prior effects and lack of guaranteed bounded correction. No successful decomposition, item completeness or correct aggregate is inferred from the documented request.

Conflict disposition

No unresolved cross-report disagreement is identified in these supplied members. No required missing part is established by their integration issues, and no declined cross-report objection was supplied. The two rollout identities above require supersession; the remaining overlaps are valid containers, parts, distinct artifacts or independently scoped findings. The reports' unobserved operation, uninspected alternatives and absent causal comparisons remain limitations, not disagreements or strengthened negative findings.
