Render a frozen target with:
git cat-file -p <blob>
The source path is supplied only for current-repository investigation after the pre-search questions have been recorded. If the live file no longer matches the blob, keep the frozen blob as the reviewed target and treat the live difference as evidence rather than silently replacing the target.
