Limitations (our opinion)
This is a promotional beginner guide, not a measured report. The claim that the vault "gets smarter every day" is plausible only if the added artifacts keep gaining useful handles, links, provenance, and activation paths; Raw accumulation does not create usable memory is the caution.
The guide also compresses storage, read-back, activation, and behavioral improvement into one story. Knowledge storage does not imply contextual activation is the cleaner local account: Obsidian files are necessary substrate, but project scope, indexes, skills, schedules, and permission gates are the parts that decide whether memory affects action.
The implementation details are point-in-time and UI-dependent. Claude Desktop tabs, the Obsidian plugin flow, MCP command shape, and third-party repo recommendations can drift. Two recommended repos, obsidian-second-brain and second-brain-starter, do not currently have durable coverage in this KB, so the source's endorsement of them is unverified here.
The security section is directionally right but incomplete. "Use read-only where you can" and "keys, not prompts" are good rules, but the guide does not specify threat models, audit trails, tenant boundaries, token exposure risks, or what to do when a useful workflow needs write access.
