Theory proposals
Finished but unadopted theory: frameworks, distinctions, terms, and changes to adopted definitions that the KB has not decided to import into its vocabulary. A proposal is here because adoption is undecided, not because its content is doubtful.
Every file in this directory is live and undecided, so listing it answers
"what theory is waiting for a decision". It is the counterpart, for theory,
of the unadopted system designs in
kb/reference/proposals/.
This README is navigation only; it states no rules (ADR 084). What binds a proposal is in two places:
- Theory proposal type — what a proposal must state, and how it is adopted or deleted.
kb/notes/COLLECTION.md— where proposals live and how other notes may point to them.
Lifecycle at a glance: workshop (kb/work/, active, closes) → proposal
here (finished, undecided, waits) → adoption into definitions and notes, or
deletion. Git keeps the deleted text.
