Agent Workflow Memory reconciliation

Reconciliation
The handed reports share the frozen implementation and doctrine boundary in boundary. No registered observed run or causal experiment supports their connections. This reconciliation assesses the current records afresh without changing their findings or choosing between status fields. No correction answers or refusal were supplied. The previous reconciliation supplies a prior issue, not evidence that it remains a disagreement. No source files were read.
Identity and containment dispositions
No exact duplicate identity requiring supersession is established. The overlaps below retain distinct referents or valid containers. No Amendment is made.
- EPI-OBJ-workflow-text covers the retained workflow files of both benchmarks. MEM-OBJ-mind-workflows and MEM-OBJ-arena-workflows distinguish their lineage and consumer channels. The epistemic container's findings remain valid when those parts are separated: its ledger already distinguishes the admission and supply routes. Retain it alongside the narrower objects, rather than split-superseding it. The action and admission routes are consumers or transformations, not duplicate objects.
- EPI-OBJ-evaluation-result groups rationale, status and stored results. MEM-OBJ-autoeval-signal isolates the symbolic eligibility signal; MEM-OBJ-autoeval-thoughts covers reasons and additional display logs. These are not interchangeable referents. The container distinguishes model judgment from external reward and does not claim that induction receives the rationale. Its findings survive that separation, so no split supersession is warranted.
- EPI-OBJ-trajectory-input names formatted inputs from several producers. MEM-OBJ-arena-traces names external raw logs, rewards and screenshots; MEM-OBJ-conversation names saved Mind2Web prediction records. Projection and cleanup intervene between those records and the formatted input, ruling out identity. EPI-OBJ-annotation-metrics separately names a scoring part of the saved conversation, not its entire content or the projection consumed by induction. Retain all these records; the metric part is already declared.
- MEM-OBJ-exemplar-content and MEM-OBJ-exemplar-specifier distinguish demonstration messages from selection metadata. Neither is identical to induced workflow text or an action route. Their unresolved initial provenance does not erase their known later consumers.
- EPI-RTE-retrieval-selection covers workflow selection and concrete-example ablation. MEM-RTE-workflow-selection and MEM-RTE-exemplar-ablation distinguish those branches. The combined record retains their different index handoffs and defects, so its findings do not become wrong when the branches are separated. Keep the valid container without split supersession. Its implementation status is wired; the memory branch records use afforded and describe optional later consumer handoffs. Both reports explicitly deny default-pipeline linkage and retain the semantic workflow defect. Do not transfer either status to the other record. RT-CMP-openai-embeddings is a component, not a duplicate route.
- MEM-RTE-episode-memory explicitly declares a scratchpad subroute of RT-RTE-browser-action. It does not replace that route or persistent workflow memory. Its programmatic display affordance and the ordinary caller's disabled scratchpad flag coexist with the browser route's wired workflow-file supply.
- EPI-RTE-trajectory-check, EPI-RTE-success-selection and EPI-RTE-trajectory-cleanup declare distinct parts of RT-RTE-neural-admission: checking, eligibility and source transformation. EPI-RTE-workflow-filter is a part of RT-RTE-mind-admission; EPI-RTE-annotation-score is a part of RT-RTE-benchmark-action. Containment is not identity, and none of these parts replaces its parent.
- WF-RTE-pipeline-handoff spans scheduling across browser action and neural admission. It is neither identical to either runtime route nor contained in exactly one. Its scheduling and recovery findings complement those routes.
- EPI-CLM-workflow-induction, EPI-CLM-benchmark-benefit and RT-CLM-context-budget concern intended induction/integration, reported performance and prompt fitting respectively. Their shared participation in a loop does not establish claim identity. RT-CMP-chat-model, RT-CMP-openai-client and the embedding component distinguish configured computations; shared provider infrastructure does not make them identical. RT-RTE-basic-action is an auxiliary consumer without workflow integration, not a duplicate of the legacy action route.
Prior disagreement disposition
The previous response-delivery conflict is not sustained by the current records. The workflow account associated with WF-RTE-pipeline-handoff says vision evaluation uses the last screenshot with intent, response and actions. The current EPI-RTE-trajectory-check distinguishes the omitted dedicated response field from answer content preserved in send_msg_to_user(...) actions. Its retained SRC-1 passages from webarena/autoeval/evaluate_trajectory.py, webarena/autoeval/evaluator.py and webarena/autoeval/prompts.py show the action-preservation and vision action-history channel. It explicitly rules out inferring an absent response-check route or inability to receive the answer merely from the unused argument.
These positions now permit a common bounded account: vision has no separately inserted response field, but an answer recorded in retained actions can reach its prompt. The workflow account's broad description does not establish that every vision input contains an answer; the epistemic record keeps actual answer presence and successful assessment unobserved. The runtime's RT-RTE-neural-admission does not require a separate response field for its admission finding. No current dependent finding requires the earlier, stronger assertion that vision omits all answer content. No unresolved disagreement follows from the field/channel distinction. This disposition assesses the supplied wording; no author correction or declined-objection history is inferred from absent answers.
Convergence and integration limits
The reports converge on interpreted workflow guidance rather than executable subroutine dispatch. RT-BAP-workflow-system and RT-BAP-workflow-exemplar separate system-message and user-exemplar supply. Memory annotations add rereading, whole-file selection and Mind2Web budget omission. RT-CLM-context-budget and the workflow account agree that WebArena fits the main prompt before adding workflows. Delivery is not demonstrated dependence or benefit.
The reports also keep outcome checking separate from generated-workflow admission. EPI-RTE-success-selection enforces source eligibility, while RT-RTE-rule-admission adds exact human item approval unless automatic mode bypasses it. Memory's approval finding and epistemic's unspecified correctness/transfer criterion are compatible: operational approval does not establish evidence-consuming acceptance of workflow truth. EPI-RTE-annotation-score computes benchmark agreement, but online Mind2Web induction does not use those metrics as a success gate. Neither checking route warrants the subsequently induced recipe.
The memory Integration issues agree with the runtime and workflow accounts rather than correcting them. MEM-OBJ-conversation preserves the unsorted file/sample association limit. RT-RTE-neural-admission and WF-RTE-pipeline-handoff retain accumulated-result selection, missing website filtering and evaluator/inducer filename mismatch. MEM-OBJ-autoeval-signal and EPI-RTE-trajectory-check retain the exception dictionary versus normal-list mismatch; workflow traces the potential abort rather than clean rejection. These are static obstacles to the intended default evidence handoff, not evidence that every configured route fails. Workflow adds that zero selected examples can still reach generation and file replacement, without contradicting the runtime's selection predicate.
Concrete ablation remains a counterexample to universal semantic-retrieval failure. MEM-RTE-exemplar-ablation and EPI-RTE-retrieval-selection retain its direct FAISS construction. The runtime's workflow metadata-return defect is narrower and needs no correction on that basis. Neither account establishes retrieval quality.
Unknown initial admission of shipped content, lossy trace projections and absent effect evidence remain local limitations, not disagreements. The epistemic shopping assertions and memory samples establish available content, not its induction or approval history. The components establish inference clients without implemented parameter updates, not inaccessible provider behavior. The reports do not infer learning, reflection, autonomy or exercised self-improvement from durable context replacement alone. EPI-CLM-benchmark-benefit remains attributed reported operation under the source register, not an observed or causal result of this run.
No current unresolved conflict or required undeclared part is established by this comparison. No supplied declined objection requires a two-position disposition. This is a connection account, not verification of record support or acceptance of the analysis set.
