Virtual Context report verification

Verification
The current reports support a bounded implementation account. Both previous engagement blockers are repaired, including their dependent runtime account, epistemic ledger and bounded conclusion. No material blocker remains. The positive memory and semantic-admission findings remain supported; acceptance does not turn their expressly uninspected operation into observed behavior.
I read all supplied members, their types, the records contract, structural check, correction answers and previous verification. The structural check says none; there is no structural failure to route. Runtime and epistemic each supply a corrected answer; memory and workflow answers are empty. I judged the current findings afresh and checked their source support rather than accepting the answers or previous judgment as evidence. The source checkout is clean and HEAD equals the reviewed boundary. All added source inspection below is SRC-1 implementation evidence, with source comments and README claims treated as doctrine or attributed reporting under the Source register. No target execution, test, provider call, independently inspected run or causal experiment was added.
Correction and engagement disposition
Independent inspection of SRC-1 virtual_context/core/engagement/select.py, virtual_context/core/engagement/continuation.py, virtual_context/core/engagement/runner.py and the complete post_question function in virtual_context/core/engagement/poster.py confirms the repaired finding in RT-RTE-engagement-stage and WF-RTE-draft-selection. The selector returns non-personal outcomes before examining verdicts. Bundled qualification can emit timed; runner acceptance tests non-skip outcome and nonempty draft text. The poster neither receives nor checks the fidelity verdict. Therefore a supplied drafter's nonempty negative-verdict timed draft can reach the staging sender if the independent controls pass. Both the runtime account and the epistemic authority-route ledger and bounded conclusion now state this consequence. The previous universal-veto inference is no longer licensed. The records retain the minimum branch passages; no correction text is needed here.
The independent controls remain real and distinct. The runner checks repetition before ranking and question similarity after drafting, repeats live verification per draft attempt, and caps drafts at three. The poster requires posting enablement, staging destination, matching-message verification, an available Eastern day and nonempty question. It claims the day before sending and records staged only after a returned message ID; ambiguous send failure can leave a pending claim. The current reports do not claim atomic database/transport delivery or actual unfaithful staging. SRC-1 virtual_context/core/engagement/live_source.py confirms metadata checks and early termination on rate limiting/unreachability, not quote-body or stored-timestamp comparison. Searches and source reads in virtual_context/core/engagement/candidates.py and virtual_context/core/engagement/verify.py support the workflow's pre-verification deduplication qualification. Those are compatible refinements, not new cross-report contradictions.
SRC-1 virtual_context/core/engagement/fidelity.py confirms the epistemic distinction between the helper's entailment docstring and its actual assertion/presupposition policy. A negative helper result is not equivalent to an enforced runner veto. The workflow account correctly separates callable delegation from autonomous agents, bounded candidate fallback from revision of one draft, and a returned report or acknowledged staging result from community publication. RT-CMP-engagement-models correctly leaves injected model internals and identity unresolved. Memory's engagement annotation adds retained-history authority without asserting universal fidelity enforcement.
Runtime and persistence
SRC-1 virtual_context/tui/headless.py confirms assembly, filtering, model streaming, assistant-history append, background completion and the next-turn wait in RT-RTE-headless-chat. The completion task catches errors, so a finished future is not a successful-maintenance certificate. CLI dispatch searches confirm this is a shipped driver. Proxy preparation and completion searches in virtual_context/proxy/server.py and virtual_context/proxy/state.py support the split tag/compaction and unmodified-forwarding qualifications in RT-RTE-proxy-request. Thus headless sequencing is not a system-wide guarantee.
The mixed-tool bailout and bounded continuation body in SRC-1 virtual_context/core/tool_loop.py, along with guard and tool-query searches, support RT-RTE-paging-loop. Recognized VC tools have a wired executor; additional tool definitions do not install arbitrary execution. Context reassembly follows working-set changes, while the repetition guard can fail open. These controls do not constrain every host tool or aggregate distributed cost. MCP operation searches and the bundled OpenClaw hook source support RT-RTE-mcp-tools and RT-RTE-openclaw-hooks: returning recall material is not observed host consumption, and a user-role reminder is not a system-role grant. SRC-1 virtual_context/mcp/server.py explicitly distinguishes stateless recall from legacy transform where validated audience proof is unavailable; no universal audience-safety conclusion follows.
SRC-1 virtual_context/engine.py confirms provider-owned persistence, direct store saving, optional Redis write-through and failure returns in RT-OBJ-engine-state. It also confirms suffix-capped cache history, not lossless preservation of every prior model payload. Compaction source reads in virtual_context/core/compaction_pipeline.py support canonical physical-row selection and distinct replacement controls in RT-RTE-memory-maintenance. The source-ID-based mapping specifically avoids treating caller history position as evidence. SQLite's mode branch in virtual_context/storage/sqlite.py supports RT-CLM-compaction-fence's conditional active rejection, not a universal deployment fence. Import and editor searches in virtual_context/cli/import_cmd.py and virtual_context/core/record_editing.py support RT-RTE-import-history and RT-RTE-record-edits. Initiating import is not per-statement human approval; actor audit data is not authentication; interrupted rebuild retry is not instantaneous withdrawal from every cache.
The configurable inference interfaces and local encoder construction in SRC-1 virtual_context/tui/chat_provider.py, virtual_context/core/compactor.py, virtual_context/core/tool_query.py and virtual_context/core/embedding_provider.py support RT-CMP-chat-provider, RT-CMP-llm-provider and RT-CMP-embedding-provider. Model names and endpoints are not frozen parameter artifacts. These inspected consumers establish inference and content writes, not training or a conclusion about inaccessible provider internals. The distinction between interpreted model input in RT-BAP-assembled-context and symbolic eligibility in RT-BAP-engine-watermarks remains valid.
Memory objects and later consumers
I checked the operative distinctions in MEM-OBJ-source-content, MEM-OBJ-source-metadata, MEM-OBJ-stored-segment, MEM-OBJ-tag-summary, MEM-OBJ-search-vectors and MEM-OBJ-fact against SRC-1 types, compaction source selection/storage searches, rendering and vector-reader code. Canonical text, physical provenance, summary/full-depth views, layer-two rollups, dense vectors and fact statements have different consumers and warrant. A vector is not the encoder's parameters; source retention is not summary fidelity. Tag-rollup generation and backend equivalence are explicitly incomplete, so these records do not imply exhaustive transformation coverage.
SRC-1 virtual_context/core/retrieval_assembler.py confirms trust/audience filtering before fact delivery and input-keyed memo reuse. virtual_context/core/assembler.py confirms token-budget admission and gated requester-card rendering; virtual_context/core/paging_manager.py confirms cold-page collapse or removal without deleting the source store. These checks support MEM-OBJ-curation-memo, MEM-RTE-inbound-context and the memory paging annotation. Request-triggered automatic supply and model-selected retrieval coexist; neither is independently scheduled unsolicited delivery. Window reduction and reload do not establish a separate sub-agent frame.
Refusal-version comparison and rejection-key reads in SRC-1 virtual_context/ingest/supersession.py and virtual_context/storage/record_edits.py support MEM-OBJ-fact-ledgers, MEM-RTE-fact-admission and MEM-BAP-fact-refusals. These retained results have later software consumers, unlike an unused diagnostic log. Changed evidence or policy can reopen comparisons. An explanatory reason can remain inspectable without being the field software uses to suppress a repeated proposal.
SRC-1 proxy snapshot/storage searches and direct restoration bodies in virtual_context/proxy/message_filter.py and virtual_context/proxy/handlers.py support MEM-OBJ-payload-archives and MEM-RTE-payload-restore. The runtime rehydrates content into a mutable request or returns media; ordinary tool acknowledgments need not contain the full restored text. Chain sanitization can remove VC-derived content before delivery. The records preserve unresolved media lineage and do not claim arbitrary file access or universal author/audience safety from a reference prefix.
Epistemic warrant and acceptance
SRC-1 virtual_context/core/compactor.py and virtual_context/core/judgment.py confirm heuristic rejection, optional grounding with permissive legacy fallback, retry and bounded source fallback versus fail-closed behavior. This supports EPI-RTE-summary-check and EPI-RTE-summary-admission, not proven semantic preservation. The exact-copy construction in EPI-RTE-structured-materialization has separate lineage from generated EPI-OBJ-summary. EPI-OBJ-structured-summary also carries inferred metadata; the report expressly confines the non-ampliative finding to copied claim text and leaves metadata warrant narrower.
Direct inspection of SRC-1 virtual_context/core/summary_identity.py and assembler call sites confirms EPI-RTE-summary-rendering and MEM-CLM-renderer-proof. Summary depth returns stored synopsis, audience comparison can skip individual missing rows, and the proof-named predicate checks nonempty/nonquarantined text. This is a supported counterexample to EPI-CLM-private-synopsis, not merely absent execution evidence or an analyst disagreement. An exact-source envelope elsewhere does not remove this ordinary model-facing consumer.
SRC-1 virtual_context/storage/fact_mutations.py confirms that EPI-RTE-fact-proof checks complete source mapping and specified author proof, not fact-text entailment. virtual_context/core/fact_lifecycle.py and inbound filtering confirm the distinct withdrawal in EPI-RTE-fact-withholding. The fact objects EPI-OBJ-fact and MEM-OBJ-fact therefore cannot acquire semantic truth merely from verified. README inspection supports EPI-CLM-record-warrant's attribution to source doctrine; the reports correctly distinguish testimony from independently warranted world claims.
Actor-card admission criteria, the parsed decision consumer, rebuild replacement and optional assembler use in SRC-1 virtual_context/core/community/actor_card_admission.py, virtual_context/core/community/actor_card_rebuild.py and virtual_context/core/assembler.py support MEM-OBJ-actor-card, MEM-RTE-card-refresh, EPI-OBJ-card-entry, EPI-RTE-card-check, EPI-RTE-card-integration and EPI-BAP-card-influence. This is an evidence-consuming semantic admission capacity for person context, with source-linked replacement after acceptance. It is not merely storage, but neither is it measured evaluator correctness or observed personalization. Epoch/build-marker checks and whole-entry token dropping preserve the reported conditions. Memory's narrower inspection of semantic details does not contradict epistemic's positive witness.
SRC-1 virtual_context/core/render_escape.py supports EPI-RTE-markup-escape's deterministic, idempotent wrapper escape and replay exemption, not universal prompt-injection resistance. LongMemEval checkpoint and reader searches, rubric reads and score-assignment searches in benchmarks/longmemeval/vc_runner.py, benchmarks/longmemeval/judge.py and benchmarks/longmemeval/run.py support MEM-RTE-evaluator-reuse and EPI-RTE-answer-scoring. A dataset answer is supplied to the judge; stored scores do not establish runtime claim acceptance or automatic policy adaptation. The current records leave all-path reader oracle isolation unresolved. README's EPI-CLM-answer-benefit remains attributed reporting, not independently verified performance or a component-causal conclusion.
Relations, conflicts and omission stopping
I checked every declaration and its supporting source anchors, evidence-strength fields, all declared Part of: relations, and the reconciliation. Its single fact-object supersession preserves the same referent and changes no warrant. Summary/check/materialization parts belong to maintenance; trust-proof/withholding functions belong to the administrative route; draft selection belongs to engagement. Container identity does not imply exhaustive parent coverage. Synopsis versus segment, entry versus card, selector versus driver, restore versus enclosing loop, and scoring versus reader remain valid parts or different functions, not whole-referent duplicates. No evidenced-absence declarations require acceptance. The reports emit neither observed activation nor a system-complete negative about learning, theory criticism or other acceptance routes.
The reconciliation's closure of the engagement conflict is supported by the changed reports and source trace. Its sentence saying no correction-answer files were supplied is inaccurate for this invocation: two corrected answers are supplied. I dismiss this as immaterial input bookkeeping because its disposition cites and accurately compares the current report passages and source evidence, independently confirmed above; it neither hides a declined objection nor changes the publication conclusion. Workflow's reference to a formerly broad baseline gate description is likewise stale but immediately qualified by its correct type-dependent account. Neither warrants a publication blocker or a substantive synthesis limit. No unresolved cross-report conflict remains.
Omission questions were selected from the frozen tracked top-level tree, shipped entry-point searches and producer/consumer dependencies, not only listed quotations. Could another engagement stage restore a universal negative-verdict veto, or could bundled qualification avoid the bypass type? The selector-to-qualifier-to-runner-to-poster trace settles both questions. Searches of publication/history symbols in the engagement tree do not establish a complete owner-approval service; retaining the inspected staging boundary is appropriate. Could structured exact-source output prevent synopsis delivery? The ordinary renderer and assembler consumer disprove that exclusion. Could persistence or later consumption be inferred only from hypothetical APIs? Headless, proxy, import and evaluator call sites establish shipped callers, while provider-owned persistence remains conditional.
Further optional expansion stopped because these consequential challenges have supported dispositions and no identified material challenge remains undisposed. Other evaluators, MCP variants, repair bodies/inputs, full backend transactions and all unfinished-rebuild consumers remain expressly uninspected or unresolved in the reports. Those qualifications already withhold comprehensive oracle, privacy, repair, consistency and concurrency conclusions; they do not invalidate the positive paths retained here. Mere availability of additional code does not require an exhaustive audit. Faithfully scoped uncertainty is not an additional publication limit, and missing run evidence is not evidenced absence.
