Fractal synthesis verification

Verification
The handed public synthesis supports publication as a bounded implementation account. I checked its substantive statements against all supplied analyst members, the reconciliation's identity dispositions, the two accepted verification judgments and the shared record contract. The synthesis answers input is empty; no refusal or previous synthesis-verification judgment was supplied. Structural acceptance is not the basis of this support judgment. No source read, target execution or new evidence was used.
Boundary, execution and return
The opening account accurately identifies the Fractal artifact as a runtime client and distinguishes it from the external PredictRLM computation. Its whole-system label is bounded to the shipped client, not dependency internals. Revision, cutoff and implementation/doctrine evidence agree with the boundary. The public account explicitly withholds observed operation and causal benefit.
Task admission, pending persistence, predictor inputs, model selection and configurable budget follow RT-RTE-headless-turn, RT-OBJ-edit-workspace and RT-OBJ-session-state. The direct-execution paragraph preserves the distinction between interpreted policy and enforced permissions. Root guidance's precedence, omission and truncation conditions follow RT-BAP-workspace-guidance. The Python alternative follows RT-RTE-direct-agent; it prevents the reader from treating CLI checks and persistence as universal.
The return account correctly confines RT-CLM-result-contract to output structure. Its ordinary-return and budget classifications follow RT-RTE-budget-exhaustion and the headless route. The public text does not equate succeeded, delivery or recorded changed-file names with verified edits. Its failure qualifications preserve the interactive interruption predicate, headless alternative and pre-call exception boundary in RT-RTE-interactive-interrupt. Best-effort hooks, attempted commands and result-provided modification lists are supported by RT-CLM-hook-accounting and EPI-RTE-event-projection. No approval, complete audit or rollback guarantee is inferred.
Retained context and representative workflow
The strongest experience-based finding is narrow and supported: MEM-RTE-checkpoint-update transforms activity/status inputs into durable context, and MEM-RTE-session-context supplies that context later. The synthesis distinguishes this automatic trace-fed projection from raw retention, semantic lesson synthesis and improved capacity. Its conversational, event and file/command input descriptions are supported by those records and the event-projection record; dependency trace provenance remains unresolved.
The summary/history/usage account preserves their different content, consumers and horizons in MEM-OBJ-session-summary, MEM-OBJ-session-history and MEM-OBJ-turn-usage. In particular, it retains full response prose, all-turn rendering, the pending entry's history slot and loss of old exact details. It uses the canonical memory summary identity after reconciliation's supersession, while EPI-RTE-summary-render remains a distinct transformation. The text does not strengthen partial inventories into complete form, lineage or authority findings.
Explicit session-ID reload and subsequent automatic delivery remain separate operations. The coarse selection characterization concerns all-turn/recency delivery, not denial of exact-ID file lookup. MEM-RTE-session-reload supports structural admission rather than semantic endorsement. The synthesis explicitly qualifies its overbroad decoding recovery description with the settled local limit below.
The audit/repair account follows WF-RTE-audit-repair: caller sequencing, ID exposure before execution, no first-turn exit gate, mutable auditing and no independent repair criterion. It does not join unrelated capabilities into an invented workflow or promote the calling recipe to an observed successful repair. The scenario assessment correctly separates continuation wiring from correctness and complete recall. The treatment of EPI-CLM-context-rot and EPI-CLM-readable-trace preserves doctrine rather than demonstrated benefit.
Independent properties and limitations
The adaptation account states the supported retained-context contribution before unresolved learning and self-change questions. Its separate inability to affirm localized theory content, content-dependent decisions, content-directed criticism and another criticism-shaped round is bounded to the root-guidance path and accepted runtime account. It does not infer absence inside opaque dependency processing. Reflection and autonomous theory-building are independently unestablished, not consequences of a single negative score. These qualifications follow RT-BAP-workspace-guidance and the epistemic bounded conclusion.
Editable guidance is correctly treated as a live delivery avenue, not exercised evidence-responsive self-improvement. RT-RTE-config-change, RT-RTE-package-release, RT-CMP-main-lm and RT-CMP-sub-lm support the distinctions between adapter replacement, release automation and uninspected model parameters. The proposed evidence or system changes are conditional ways to alter specific assessments, not assertions that such evidence or guarantees already exist.
I checked every row of Limitations for its record support and prevented conclusion. The settled report-verification decoding limit is faithfully carried both in the public progression and in a dedicated row, with the affected reload/workflow citations and resolving evidence. The profile verification declares no additional limits; its scoped uncertainty is preserved without being recast as an established defect. Reconciliation identifies no unresolved report conflict. The remaining rows faithfully bound execution, dependencies, payloads, semantic acceptance, effect metadata, independent improvement properties and auxiliary coverage. No new record fault or material unsupported conclusion was found. The carried decoding limit leaves the main continuation and valid-state reload conclusions intact.

Limits
- The local decoding-recovery limit remains warranted for MEM-RTE-session-reload and WF-RTE-audit-repair: the settled exception boundary in SRC-1,
src/fractal/session.pycatches OSError/JSONDecodeError rather than UnicodeDecodeError, whilesrc/fractal/tui/app.pycatches only FileNotFoundError during resume. Readers must withhold universal backup/empty-replacement recovery for unreadable checkpoints and universal return to the prompt after malformed resume. The synthesis's reload paragraph and decoding limitation row already carry those consequences. This does not undermine explicit-ID selection, valid-state reload or wired context delivery; it is not a new source finding or a reason to reopen reconciliation.
