Reconciliation
Frozen scope and evidence
The members share the boundary and Source register. Additional implementation inspection extends SRC-1 coverage without changing the revision or the complete-artifact, partial-loop boundary. Implementation, instructional affordance, observed operation and causal benefit remain distinct. None of these members supplies target execution or a causal comparison. This reconciliation uses the supplied members; no frozen-source reads were needed. No correction-answer files or declined objections were supplied. Earlier reconciliation conclusions are not evidence for current agreement.
Duplicate identity
Amendment: EPI-RTE-reference-search is superseded by MEM-RTE-reference-search. Both identify the same Librarian request route in SRC-1, apps/librarian/src/semiont_librarian/reference_search.py: union name/type/neighborhood/vector candidates, assign structural scores, optionally ask the Matcher to score the highest twenty, rerank and limit the reply. Both leave adoption to a separate bind action. The memory record retains the top-twenty selection passage; the epistemic record retains sorting passages and its scoring-consumer account. Both give implementation conclusion status wired and operation conclusion status uninspected. Their findings concern one route, not independent ranking mechanisms. This identity affects the epistemic ledger and bounded conclusion and the memory read-back and ranking account. Supersession replaces neither author's fields and promotes no status. The epistemic distinctions between numeric ranking force, advisory reasons and actual binding remain attributable to that report.
No other exact identity is established. Close overlaps are distinguished below rather than converted into additional supersessions.
Components, outputs and stores
MEM-CMP-smelter-embedding creates retained document/annotation vectors; RT-CMP-embedding-provider creates Librarian query vectors. They are different operational clients even if configurations match. MEM-CMP-matcher, RT-CMP-gatherer and RT-CMP-worker-inference likewise perform ranking, contextual generation and document generation through separate clients. Common factories and possible shared remote models do not establish client identity.
EPI-OBJ-generated-document follows model-written content and artifact derivation. MEM-OBJ-content identifies a storage-URI file that can instead contain direct uploads or clones. The generated output can reach that store without making their referents interchangeable. RT-OBJ-job-params is the queued input, not either output. Similarly, EPI-OBJ-assessment-text identifies parsed model judgment copied into an assessing body, whereas MEM-OBJ-annotation-text covers retained comments and assessments, including direct authorship. Their production and retained-body scopes overlap but do not establish exact identity. Symbolic anchors, tags and bindings remain MEM-OBJ-annotation-links, not evaluative prose.
MEM-OBJ-vector-points, MEM-OBJ-vector-payload and MEM-OBJ-anchored-text distinguish numerical search data, readable passages with access metadata, and extraction outcomes. EPI-OBJ-reference-score is a request-local score/reason, not a stored embedding or the Matcher component. MEM-OBJ-event-log, MEM-OBJ-declined and MEM-OBJ-weaver-checkpoint identify event history/views, remembered extraction decisions and sequence marks respectively; none duplicates job parameters or content bytes.
Containers and overlapping operations
EPI-RTE-citation-processing and EPI-RTE-citation-retention are declared parts of RT-RTE-yield-generation. The first transforms/checks tokens before upload. The second constructs annotations after upload and traces their attempted commit and refusal. Its label does not establish successful retention. These parts preserve the corrected parent route rather than superseding it. EPI-RTE-assessment-proposal and EPI-RTE-span-check similarly separate criticism generation from source-span placement within RT-RTE-mark-detection. The parent remains valid. Repeated ledger entries divide consequential functions, not record identities.
MEM-RTE-resource-gather assembles resource-focused context, unlike RT-RTE-annotation-gather. EPI-RTE-summary-generation overlaps the resource route's summary/suggestion calls and also covers a dedicated annotation-summary operation. It is not identical to either gather route or wholly contained in the supplied annotation-gather route. EPI-OBJ-gathered-prose identifies response content, not a persistent summary store.
EPI-RTE-knowledge-withdrawal spans removal, archive/restoration and body-change commands and their projection effects. MEM-RTE-annotation-edit additionally covers creation, batch commits and vocabulary registration. Their shared operations agree, but the scopes are not identical. Neither replaces RT-RTE-resource-admission or model detection. MEM-RTE-content-revision adds update/clone alternatives. MEM-RTE-record-replay covers multi-command event retention/reconstruction rather than the upload route alone.
MEM-RTE-graph-maintenance and MEM-RTE-vector-maintenance produce different derived stores. Gather/search routes consume those stores, not duplicate their maintenance. MEM-BAP-projection-control describes accumulated operational-state authority, distinct from operator boot configuration in RT-BAP-worker-config. MEM-RTE-resource-search, MEM-RTE-mcp-browse and MEM-RTE-aggregate-writing distinguish service retrieval, client display and documented composition. Reusing stores or upload does not identify these routes.
The platform purpose in EPI-CLM-trusted-knowledge is not the conditional prompt instruction in RT-CLM-source-grounding. EPI-CLM-assessment-concerns, EPI-CLM-conformance-scope and MEM-CLM-index-stamp concern separate claims. No claim supersession follows from shared relevance to quality.
Current convergence and correction consequences
Generated citations now agree across runtime, memory and epistemic reports. RT-RTE-yield-generation and EPI-RTE-citation-retention retain the assignment/commit evidence: Dispatcher assigns the job on its original focus resource; Worker targets the new resource for citations; SDK includes the held job ID; Archivist checks that target's log and refuses a nonempty batch before recording. The SDK propagates refusal to Worker failure handling, preventing completion without reversing upload or successful source linkage. An empty batch is skipped and can complete. The memory integration issues explicitly withdraw the earlier grouping of citations with retained bytes/source links. Consequently these records no longer support successful generated-citation provenance or later citation read-back from that batch. Their wired statuses describe implemented branches, including refusal, not successful citation retention.
Selection remains consumer-specific. The runtime, memory annotations and workflow account distinguish returned gathered fields from those actually rendered by RT-BAP-generation-prompt. The epistemic token-processing part adds that citable-ID membership can exceed clipped prompt visibility. This does not contradict the structural-only grounding claim: eligibility and token removal neither prove entailment nor veto an unsupported sentence.
The selected workflow is narrower than generation capabilities. The workflow declares no records; its annotations use runtime records. Its selected MCP wrapper does not request cite or a format. PDF compilation and citation-requesting alternatives are therefore not ordinary stages of that wrapper. Worker completion includes resource identity/truncation while the wrapper returns success text and progress, not those fields. The current citation correction does not itself contradict completion on the selected empty-citation path.
Unresolved conflict: RT-RTE-yield-generation, EPI-RTE-citation-retention and the workflow storage/completion account differ in their description of the post-upload citation branch. Workflow says the Worker “commits any generated citation annotations and completes the job,” citing the runtime route and retaining the subsequent completion call. Runtime and epistemic now trace nonempty batches to enforced refusal before recording and failure rather than that completion call. Their retained Dispatcher/SDK/Archivist passages supply the branch distinction absent from that workflow sentence. Workflow also explicitly limits its representative wrapper to no cite option and recognizes later-commit failures, so its selected ordinary success path need not be in conflict. The unresolved discrepancy is the unqualified post-upload progression, not whether that wrapper can complete: the workflow account cannot be combined with the corrected route as support for committing a nonempty generated-citation batch and then delivering success. This reconciliation preserves both the workflow's narrow selection and the other reports' refusal finding without rewriting either.
Other admission and recovery findings converge. Upload provenance/format checks are not a factual oracle or per-item human approval. Model annotation chunks precede checkpoints and can survive cancellation; files/events can survive later job failure. Span checking and compilation have real but narrow enforcing force. Assessment generation supplies positive content-directed evaluation without establishing valid criticism, automatic source rejection or an iterated theory-revision mechanism.
Remaining integration dispositions
The memory member's lineage qualification separates optional caller generationPrompt in event history from a full assembled prompt, preserved reasoning or an established later rationale reader. Runtime does not claim those stronger properties. Unequal view/Weaver/Smelter event coverage qualifies projection consistency that runtime had deferred; it is not a cross-report assertion of universal parity. Nominal embedding-stamp recreation partly answers deferred compatibility questions without identifying remote weights or deployed query/index alignment. Withdrawal changes current availability without ensuring erasure, distributed rollback or automatic descendant retraction. These limits agree with the epistemic withdrawal route.
The memory member also retains offline launcher import as uninspected restoration rather than ordinary command resubmission. Epistemic likewise leaves full import unassessed. Ordinary command admission must not be generalized to that alternative; neither report claims an exhaustive comparison. Browser/desktop, remaining launcher, provider and maintenance alternatives remain explicit partial-loop limits, not absences.
Aggregate composition remains afforded, unlike the wired service routes. Its connection to the assessment-to-aggregate doctrine is documented reuse, not observed autonomous synthesis. Conformance documentation supplies protocol evaluation design with scripted inference, not model-accuracy measurements. No required missing part has been identified that invalidates a combined record. Apart from the anchored workflow discrepancy above, the supplied reports retain compatible scoped findings and uncertainties. Missing operation, factual-acceptance or benefit evidence cannot convert their positive implementation findings into system-wide negatives about learning, reflection, autonomy or self-improvement.
