Meta-Harness synthesis verification

Verification
The handed synthesis supports publication as a bounded architectural account, not an empirical demonstration of improvement. I checked its substantive statements against the supplied analyst records, reconciliation dispositions and verification limits. I read the public text without assuming readers know the supporting members. No source files were read, new evidence added or corrected synthesis text produced.
The evidence basis and whole-system repository boundary match boundary and its Source register. The synthesis distinguishes inspected implementation, shipped instructions and reported pilot probes from observed execution and causal experiments. It excludes external runtime internals, the separate optimized artifact, paper and downloaded collections from its evidential claims. Its opening contribution is supported by the three search routes: editable solver machinery, independent task feedback and later proposal opportunities are connected, while actual model reliance and useful revision remain unobserved. See RT-RTE-classification-search, RT-RTE-terminal-search and RT-RTE-pilot-search.
Progression and consequential distinctions
The configuration and proposal account preserves onboarding's stop-before-implementation rule and the difference between proposed budgets and authorization. Fresh proposer sessions receive paths and instructions, not guaranteed full history delivery. The synthesis correctly separates deterministic resume/result fields from copied model-authored rationale, without certifying hypotheses merely because scores accompany them. See RT-RTE-domain-onboarding, RT-BAP-proposer-instructions, MEM-OBJ-summary-results and MEM-OBJ-summary-rationale.
The representative terminal workflow is a shipped sequence rather than a composite of unrelated entry paths. Its requested analysis and implementation children, shared file effects, manifest handoff and independent driver checks follow the workflow account. Requested child execution is not presented as observed delegation. Import admission, optional smoke and pilot lexical/AST screening remain distinct predicates; executable force precedes winner selection. The account does not turn compatibility into safety, useful performance or isolation. See RT-BAP-candidate-execution, RT-RTE-terminal-search and EPI-RTE-source-check.
The classification account preserves supervised retention, offline versus online feedback, hash-seeded demonstration selection, character rather than token budgets, and candidate-specific checkpoint behavior. NoMemory prevents an inference that loading necessarily activates retained content. Target comparison is not represented as validation of target truth or acceptance of an explanatory hypothesis. The substring countercase and frontier criteria retain their proper domains. See MEM-RTE-classification-memory, MEM-OBJ-memory, EPI-RTE-answer-check and EPI-RTE-frontier-selection.
Terminal reward fractions are bounded by discovered trial directories; warnings do not supply missing denominator entries. Pilot source admission is separate from local output equality and suite aggregation. Zero reward does not identify whether the candidate or infrastructure failed, and an admitted candidate need not succeed. See EPI-RTE-terminal-scoring, EPI-RTE-suite-scoring and EPI-RTE-source-check.
Retention, context control and delivery preserve the supplied qualifications: requested reports are not produced criticism; classification logs can be partial; response replay does not pin backend weights; KIRA fallback can coexist with surviving messages; and truncation/filtering can discard consequential evidence without automatic reload. See MEM-OBJ-reports, MEM-OBJ-classification-log, MEM-RTE-completion-replay, the KIRA memory annotation and EPI-RTE-observation-filter. Selective cleanup is supported by the memory search annotations, not a claim of complete withdrawal or rollback.
The delivery account distinguishes ordinary search artifacts from deployment and frozen winner bytes. It preserves the terminal final branch's possible partial-result display and same-dataset reevaluation, and classification's operational rather than secret test separation with direct evaluation alternatives. See workflow account and RT-RTE-classification-finalize. Pilot projected feedback differs from full retained history. Normal tool charging is narrower than a universal compute budget; historical reward does not authenticate history, select final source or restore the best snapshot. See MEM-OBJ-evaluation-history, RT-RTE-pilot-search and EPI-RTE-history-selection.
Independent property findings and limitations carriage
The theory-builder findings retain each search route's separate statuses: condition 1 afforded, condition 2 wired, reference conditions 3 and 4 claimed, and pilot conditions 3 and 4 uninspected. Learning from criticism, exercised reflection, autonomous theory-building and successful self-improvement are not inferred from each other or from score retention. The marked dispositional self-change claim names the enclosing boundary, horizon and objective, while withholding exercised causal links 1 and 4. The narrower proposer boundary is not silently treated as owning its output harness. See RT-RTE-classification-search, RT-RTE-terminal-search, RT-RTE-pilot-search and the epistemic bounded conclusion. The proposed resolving evidence addresses different unresolved conclusions rather than supplying a generic ranking or adoption recommendation.
I checked the sole example-list supersession: the retained example findings do not depend on treating the superseded epistemic declaration as another witness. The corrected summary parts remain distinct from the broader numerical result object and from their transient manifest. KIRA surviving-message wording, partial classification logs, heterogeneous terminal failure handling and different pilot budget owners are compatible qualifications, not unresolved report conflicts.
The synthesis Limitations carries all three report-verification limits with their analytical consequences and affected records. It explicitly withholds a durable per-answer validation/test archive despite the storage wording in EPI-OBJ-predictions; this does not undermine aggregate checking or selection. It preserves incomplete snapshot/flag/metric/winner-level inventory comparisons for MEM-OBJ-evaluation-history, EPI-OBJ-evaluation-results and EPI-OBJ-val-results, without assigning their contents one uniform authority. It also carries the omitted inspect/validate child's requested local-validation and output-existence policy as a limit on task-level self-check comparisons, not an enforced or successful check; see RT-RTE-pilot-search and epistemic coverage. Profile verification supplies no additional limit and keeps its inventory assessments partial. No earlier synthesis-verification refusal was supplied.
No additional material defect was found. Existing scoped uncertainty and the already carried record faults leave the positive architectural conclusions intact. Structural acceptance alone is not the basis of this judgment.
