Reconciliation
Boundary and evidence
The four reports use the same frozen boundary and Source register. Their added inspections do not turn the partial-loop boundary into whole-system coverage. None supplies observed-run or causal-experiment evidence. Implementation, requested model behavior, exercised behavior and benefit remain separate findings. An uninspected continuation in one report does not disagree with another report's bounded inspection of that continuation.
No correction answers or declined objections were supplied. This reconciliation assesses the pinned members, not an assumed correction history. No target source files were read; the cited records supply their supporting passages.
Identity and containment
No duplicate identity requiring supersession is established. The following comparisons rule out replacement identity while retaining overlap and valid containers.
- RT-OBJ-session-messages identifies the runtime coordination envelope. Its declared parts MEM-OBJ-session-content, MEM-OBJ-native-checkpoint and EPI-OBJ-summary-content identify retained content, an opaque Responses checkpoint and readable derived history respectively. The summary is narrower than the mixed raw/derived session-content inventory; neither replaces the envelope. SRC-1
hermes_state_messages.py,agent/native_compaction.pyandagent/context_compressor.pysupport these distinctions. The checkpoint is not the plaintext summary or the app-server thread of RT-RTE-codex-turn. - EPI-OBJ-memory-entries groups both stores represented separately by MEM-OBJ-memory and MEM-OBJ-user. SRC-1
tools/memory_tool_store.pysupports their shared entry mechanism and separate files, budgets and flags. The epistemic grouping is not identical to either individual store. It retains a valid combined scope; no split supersession is warranted. - EPI-OBJ-skill-content concerns selected procedure/support content. MEM-OBJ-skill-package additionally inventories package metadata, scripts and index caches. Their SRC-1
tools/skills_tool.pyevidence overlaps, but content selection is not the entire package/control inventory. Neither supersedes the other. - EPI-OBJ-recalled-context spans raw provider strings, shaped blocks and API sidecars. It overlaps both MEM-OBJ-provider-state, which also includes queues and remote state, and MEM-OBJ-session-content, which includes other messages. It is identical to neither and is not exclusively contained in the session envelope. See their SRC-1
agent/memory_manager.py,agent/turn_context.pyand provider-adapter evidence. - MEM-BAP-retained-text and RT-BAP-task-prompt overlap in natural-language model-input force. The former includes skill tool results and recalled sidecars; the latter includes current caller instructions and child task prompts. Neither is the other's complete referent. Neither replaces executable handler authority in RT-BAP-plugin-handler.
The review records connect stages rather than redeclare one route. RT-RTE-review-handoff ends at scheduling. EPI-RTE-review-candidate traces prompt-guided candidate generation. MEM-RTE-review-write follows guarded writes, staging and later consumers. Their SRC-1 agent/turn_finalizer.py and agent/background_review.py evidence supports different endpoints. The memory annotation supplies its continuation without changing the runtime record's scoped uncertainty.
MEM-RTE-notes-cycle spans admission, mutation and reload. EPI-RTE-memory-scan, EPI-RTE-memory-gate and EPI-RTE-memory-retain isolate threat checking, tool admission and file retention. MEM-RTE-pending-review adds deferred replay/rejection, left uninspected in the epistemic gate. These scoped functions do not replace the encompassing cycle. Nor are per-content write approval, terminal authorization in RT-RTE-command-approval, and generic dispatch in RT-RTE-tool-dispatch identical admission mechanisms.
MEM-RTE-skill-cycle spans editing and selective loading; EPI-RTE-skill-guard isolates fresh-read, provenance, scan and quarantine controls. MEM-RTE-skill-curation concerns activity-driven availability and archive/restore. These different scopes do not require supersession. They also differ from executable registration in RT-RTE-plugin-admission.
MEM-RTE-local-compaction covers pruning, summary/fallback, commit and recovery; EPI-RTE-summary-check isolates model-summary generation and a narrow user-attribution check in SRC-1 agent/context_compressor.py. The check does not replace the cycle or certify its deterministic and opaque alternatives. MEM-RTE-session-recall retrieves bounded archive content; RT-RTE-oneshot-turn includes caller-selected resume. Different selectors and projections rule out route identity.
WF-RTE-output-contract and WF-RTE-summary-return are distinct declared parts of RT-RTE-child-delegation, not replacement schedulers. EPI-RTE-goal-check, EPI-RTE-goal-disposition and EPI-OBJ-goal-verdict concern optional goal pursuit, not child schema checks or the selected ordinary one-shot mode. The goal evaluator therefore supplements the runtime's scoped open-request account without contradicting its lack of a factual answer oracle.
Disagreement and integration dispositions
No unresolved disagreement between the pinned reports is established. In particular, the prior reconciliation's selector conflict no longer describes these inputs. EPI-RTE-recall-consume now distinguishes RetainDB's earlier queued/cache results from ByteRover's prefetch-time query, as does MEM-RTE-provider-cycle. The epistemic record retains SRC-1 plugins/memory/retaindb/__init__.py and plugins/memory/byterover/__init__.py passages for that distinction. A current turn can trigger consumption without selecting all cached content with its query. These remain different-scope routes: the memory cycle includes ingress, remote state and withdrawal; the epistemic record isolates wrapper/projection and its license. Agreement on the selector does not make their complete referents identical.
The memory integration issues qualify design prose rather than the boundary identity. MEM-RTE-review-write, MEM-RTE-pending-review and EPI-RTE-memory-gate distinguish admitted writes from pending proposals. The boundary explicitly labels the direct-to-store module description as doctrine/design awaiting implementation tracing. No conflict follows from those staged alternatives.
The snapshot-horizon issue also preserves compatible scopes. MEM-RTE-notes-cycle establishes compaction reload alongside cached prompt bytes. EPI-RTE-memory-retain says mutation does not automatically replace the snapshot, not that reload cannot occur. RT-BAP-task-prompt asserts neither immediate adoption nor permanent freezing. No stronger refresh guarantee follows.
The epistemic gate additionally names a learning-node UI edit/delete path through SRC-1 agent/learning_mutations.py and hermes_cli/web_routers/status.py, invoking MemoryStore._mutate outside the optional memory-tool gate. Its authorization and refresh remain incompletely traced. This supplements admission coverage rather than contradicting the memory report's scoped tool cycle and unknown external edits. Neither report establishes a universal content gate or UI/tool equivalence; the named alternative prevents treating the tool route as an exhaustive write inventory.
Independent convergence and remaining limits
Memory and epistemic inspection connect retention and reliance without granting general factual endorsement. EPI-RTE-recall-reshape isolates exact deduplication from potentially content-removing sanitization. EPI-RTE-recall-consume and MEM-RTE-provider-cycle connect that shaped input to model-facing authority with unknown upstream warrant. EPI-CLM-reference-data names the narrow reliance instruction; it is not identical to the broader RT-CLM-product-work. Delivery establishes neither compliance nor benefit.
The workflow makes a consequential ordering explicit: WF-RTE-output-contract checks before WF-RTE-summary-return trims. A structural verdict therefore concerns pre-reduction child output, not necessarily the parent-visible summary. Dependency degradation and delivery of unvalidated text remain explicit. This supplements the runtime's structural-check account without making child completion, semantic acceptance and terminal delivery equivalent.
The reports retain incomplete alternatives rather than infer absences: native checkpoint replay, micro-compaction, context engines, todo/context-file admission, spill reload, optional curator consolidation/recovery, skill acquisition/preprocessing, external reset/deletion, frontend authorization and asynchronous completion consumers. Their memory coverage, epistemic coverage and workflow account state the affected limits. ByteRover's limited mirroring in MEM-RTE-provider-cycle prevents inferring system-wide forgetting from local withdrawal; no other report asserts such forgetting.
Finally, RT-CLM-product-work connects to implemented review/write/read, delegation and RPC channels. Memory establishes trace-fed retention architecture; epistemic assessment independently leaves improved future capacity, formulated criticism and exercised self-improvement unestablished; workflow leaves successful delegation and delivery unobserved. These are different properties and evidence layers, not competing statuses. Goal completion acceptance remains scoped to stopping current goal pursuit, not warrant for every retained claim. No supplied member's partial coverage establishes a system-complete negative about learning, acceptance or maintenance.
