Verification

The current reports support a bounded source-level account of the shipped improvement plane. Both earlier missing-part blockers are repaired. The repository implements candidate adapters, retained evaluation controls, conditional gating and accounting; the external coding agent performs the requested optimization procedure. No report establishes an authenticated gate-to-commit transaction, exercised autonomous criticism or causal improvement.

I independently traced source behavior before judging the wording. SRC-1 supplies implementation evidence for Python/configuration and doctrine/design for programs and README assertions. Direct reads covered prepare.py, benchmark.py, gating.py, record.py, all three agent/templates/ files, the BIRD setup/service/runtime helpers, all four program templates, README and configuration/container/package surfaces. HEAD matched the frozen revision and Git status was clean. The tracked tree agrees with the material coverage in the boundary and its Source register. No target, test, example, installer, service or model call was executed.

The supplied structural report-check has no findings. Runtime and workflow answers are empty; memory and epistemic each supply one corrected answer. I assessed those answers against the current declarations, their dependent passages and the frozen source, not as proof of repair. The previous verification's findings were reconsidered rather than presumed correct.

Runtime and workflow

All seven runtime routes were checked against their producers, transitions and consumers:

  • RT-RTE-prepare-baseline: preparation preserves existing workspace files but copies the candidate and composed program before skipping an already recorded baseline. First Terminal/BIRD split generation excludes null outcomes and retains seed-based stratified membership. BIRD provisioning admits external machinery without a pinned downstream revision. The local route remains supported, with the custom-dataset limit below.
  • RT-RTE-terminal-task, RT-RTE-tau-task and RT-RTE-bird-session: separate next-step owners, task state, tool dispatch, reward extraction, context visibility, recovery and termination match SRC-1 benchmark.py, the candidate templates and BIRD wrappers. Terminal directly dispatches bash and saves filtered messages. Tau delegates scheduling/tools/evaluation. BIRD owns its HTTP adapter and mode/task session references, while external ADK and callbacks retain their separate responsibilities. Initialization locking is not turn locking; reset is not proved backend deletion. Diagnostic previews are not model-window compaction. Implementation wiring does not establish observed operation or verifier validity.
  • RT-RTE-candidate-revision: whole-file revision, failure diagnosis, revert, commit, learnings and stopping are requested by SRC-1 program_templates/base.md and its supplements, not an implemented outer optimizer. Its independent theory-builder conditions, addressability, persistence, learning, reflection, autonomy and self-improvement assessments retain that distinction. Editable instructions and trace feedback afford a standing pathway; no supplied run closes causal link 4 or establishes successful improvement.
  • RT-RTE-gate-admission: SRC-1 gating.py uses requested suite IDs as denominator, saves diagnostics before final acceptance, runs the full-test phase despite suite failure and promotes only after both checks pass. Promotion seeds come from the last CLI mapping without split-provenance enforcement. Full-test arithmetic uses returned results, not an independently reconciled task population.
  • RT-RTE-iteration-record: SRC-1 record.py checks paths, including the latest commit, and appends caller-supplied numbers. It neither authenticates gate success nor binds evaluated bytes to the recorded commit. Later maximum-score loading makes this accounting consequential without strengthening its provenance.

The components RT-CMP-candidate-model, RT-CMP-user-model and RT-CMP-coding-model correctly separate local inference configuration from provider parameters, immutable model versions and the excluded coding runtime. The object distinctions among RT-OBJ-agent-code, RT-OBJ-agent-instructions and RT-OBJ-program match executable imports versus interpreted instructions. The instruction object's Part of: relation is actual containment in candidate Python.

The three authority records also match their consumers: RT-BAP-program-coder requests outer procedure; RT-BAP-candidate-runtime carries executable code and model-facing instructions; RT-BAP-history-gate carries fixed-predicate state. BIRD runner caching and tau process registration qualify hot replacement. The path guard is best effort, with fail-open and bypass paths, not write interception; SRC-1 docker-compose.yml provides no contrary confinement guarantee.

The workflow account traces one connected Terminal iteration, not a composite of unrelated integrations. Its delegation inputs, restricted diagnostic handback, computational gate, externally owned recovery, trusted numerical recording and intended final operator summary match the source. Its three annotations preserve runtime identities and distinguish diagnostic persistence from promotion. Self-declared task completion is not verifier acceptance; successful script arithmetic is not complete evaluation; intended delivery is not observed delivery.

Memory and corrected suite parts

Initialization and later loaders support MEM-OBJ-learnings, MEM-OBJ-train-results, MEM-OBJ-results and MEM-OBJ-task-split. Their distinct natural-language, numerical and membership roles remain valid. The program calls learnings memory but supplies no wired reader; imports do not read historical reasons. CLI split metadata does not constrain promotion, and commit labels do not authenticate scores.

The memory correction is supported. MEM-OBJ-suite remains a valid container, now with three actual contained parts: MEM-OBJ-suite-tasks, MEM-OBJ-suite-threshold and MEM-OBJ-suite-last-results. SRC-1 prepare.py initializes their different values; gating.py establishes their separate consumers and admission timing. Membership is experience-derived post-check selection. Threshold is carried-forward configuration, not learned from reruns. Diagnostic overwrite precedes final acceptance and can survive rejection; successful promotion merges all rechecks only when at least one new pass exists. Later nonempty-suite reruns overwrite that mapping. Loading diagnostics is not a historical-diagnostic decision dependency. The corrected coverage, write-side, read-back and integration passages preserve these findings. The former blocker no longer applies.

MEM-OBJ-traces and MEM-RTE-trace-retention correctly separate retained diagnostic evidence from learned generalizations. SRC-1 benchmark.py copies only encountered items, does not clear missing latest files, and suppresses baseline recopy when its directory exists. Terminal trace content has already passed through truncation; BIRD events include previews. The memory annotations on preparation, all three task routes and revision retain appropriate state, lineage and consumer limits. The retention route spans two task routes and is not uniquely contained in either, so it needs no invented single-parent relation.

Epistemic parts, claims and reconciliation

The epistemic correction is also supported. EPI-OBJ-task-content remains a container with four declared parts: EPI-OBJ-task-input, EPI-OBJ-tool-output, EPI-OBJ-assistant-content and EPI-OBJ-task-actions. Their Part of: relations match message/session containment. SRC-1 agent/templates/terminal_bench.py independently distinguishes user insertion, tool observations, assistant text and executable command dispatch. Supplied tau/BIRD routes bound the corresponding content, rather than the Terminal witness proving external semantics. The inventory, ledger and conclusion now attach unknown imported warrant, indeterminate generated entailment and operational action authority to the appropriate parts. The added consumption row distinguishes dispatch from truth acceptance. The former blocker is resolved without withdrawing supported acquisition or generation findings.

EPI-RTE-output-filter is genuinely part of the Terminal route. Its wired/uninspected statuses, literal first/last selection, source-only example and absence of an automatic full-output pointer match the implementation. EPI-OBJ-evaluation-state remains an aggregate whose ledger separates imported rewards, arithmetic, caller reports and policy membership; the narrower memory objects supply their separately addressable retained mechanisms. It is not assigned a uniform warrant or admission state.

The authority ledger and bounded conclusion correctly separate checking, disposition, retention, operational selection and explanatory integration. Conditional arithmetic does not warrant external premises. Requested diagnoses do not establish accepted ampliative explanations. No supplied evidence establishes lifecycle integration of such an explanation. These scoped judgments do not assert complete external-system absence.

All five claim records were checked against SRC-1 README.md and program_templates/base.md: RT-CLM-timeout-failure, EPI-CLM-gate-everything, EPI-CLM-eval-curation, EPI-CLM-structural-cheating and EPI-CLM-score-improvement. The comparisons correctly withhold universal timeout inclusion, commit interception, direct coding-model membership decisions, enforced train-only access and reproduced or causal score improvement. README score endpoints are attributed reported operation, not an inspectable run. No evidenced-absence record is declared.

The reconciliation correctly supersedes EPI-OBJ-learnings with MEM-OBJ-learnings: both denote the same file, append instruction and consumer role. Neither status is strengthened. Its distinctions between transient task content and selected trace copies, aggregate evaluation state and narrower retained objects, split membership and suite membership, and filtering and retention are supported. It introduces no additional unsupported supersession. Its dismissal of the two previous missing-part conflicts is now justified by declarations and dependent assessments. Freshness and custom-dataset qualifications are not conflicting affirmative findings. No unresolved cross-report disagreement remains that requires a conflict paragraph or correction.

Consequential omission checks and stopping

Three questions guided additional inspection using the tracked tree, alternate entry points and producer/consumer dependencies. Could a shipped caller carry an omitted loop? Preparation, CLI dispatch, gate, recorder, direct HTTP launch, legacy in-memory ADK fallback and reset are included; no shipped driver was misclassified as external merely because it invokes a framework. Could diagnostic retention or score history acquire stronger authority than reported? Following both copy paths, CLI persistence, suite merging and TSV maximum loading confirmed the stated fidelity and provenance limits, not an omitted automatic learnings injection or authenticated acceptance transaction. Could alternate task selection undermine comparability? Explicit IDs bypass split lookup, baseline null filtering changes population, and custom Harbor dataset forwarding differs between preparation and later evaluation. The first two are represented; the third remains the local limit below.

Further omission expansion stopped because these consequential questions have supported dispositions and no identified material challenge is left undisposed. The stock-loop conclusion does not require an exhaustive inventory of external framework operations. Inspecting unfrozen providers, callbacks or actual experiment histories would change source authority; their uninspected behavior is not evidenced absence. Existing uncertainty about actual reads, enforced budgets, successful optimization and external verifier correctness is faithfully scoped, not an additional defect.

Limits

  • RT-RTE-prepare-baseline and RT-RTE-gate-admission do not establish same-population baseline/gate comparability for a non-default Harbor dataset. SRC-1 prepare.py omits the configured dataset in both Terminal baseline constructors, while gating.py and the benchmark CLI forward it. The preparation constructor includes:

all_runner = TerminalBenchRunner( agent_model=cfg.get("agent_model"), split=None, # run all tasks env_provider=cfg.get("env_provider", "e2b"), n_concurrent=cfg.get("max_concurrency", 50), reasoning_effort=cfg.get("reasoning_effort"), ) --- prepare.py

The gate supplies:

gate_runner = TerminalBenchRunner( agent_model=cfg.get("agent_model"), split=cfg.get("gate_split", "test"), env_provider=cfg.get("env_provider", "e2b"), n_concurrent=cfg.get("max_concurrency", 50), dataset=cfg.get("dataset", "terminal-bench@2.0"), --- gating.py

SRC-1 benchmark.py defaults to terminal-bench@2.0. A custom experiment's initial split and score floor therefore cannot be assumed to describe the later configured population. Withhold the README's broader custom-Harbor “all work as-is” implication. The epistemic boundary and reconciliation retain this qualification. The selected stock Terminal workflow and conditional gate arithmetic remain supported; no independently established custom-dataset comparability value is emitted.
