Reconciliation
Boundary and duplicate identities
This account connects the five supplied members within the frozen boundary and its Source register. It uses their retained passages; no source files were additionally inspected. No analyst correction answers or declined objections were supplied. Supersessions below identify referents, not preferred findings or stronger statuses. Both declarations and their analytical fields remain available.
Amendment: EPI-OBJ-compaction-summary is superseded by MEM-OBJ-compaction-summary. Both name the natural-language summary and metadata.compaction.summary retained in local conversation state, distinct from raw messages and contained in RT-OBJ-local-transcript. The memory declaration supplies the summary-message packaging and retained-tail passage; the epistemic generation and retention records supply the same summary's production and storage chain. SRC-1: src/backend/local/compaction.ts, src/backend/local/local-store.ts, src/backend/local/local-backend.ts. This identity applies to the epistemic inventory and summary ledger rows; it does not replace their indeterminate semantic-fidelity assessment with a stronger finding.
Amendment: EPI-RTE-memory-projection is superseded by MEM-RTE-core-projection. Both trace committed HEAD selection through the local compiler into compiled prompt or subsequent memory-update delivery. Their retained passages identify the same git show HEAD selection, and both preserve deferred directory pointers rather than full deferred bodies. SRC-1: src/backend/local/system-prompt-compilation.ts, src/backend/local/local-backend.ts. The epistemic ledger's reshaping and warrant limits remain attached to this route; the memory account supplies cache and delivery details. Neither finding establishes observed reliance.
Amendment: EPI-RTE-memory-fetch is superseded by MEM-RTE-deferred-read. Both name the registered Memory tool's requested path, filesystem read, bounded file/directory result and subsequent model continuation. The retained readFileSync passages identify the same implementation, not two retrieval mechanisms. SRC-1: src/tools/impl/memory.ts. The epistemic ledger's completeness/warrant limits and the memory route's selection/budget findings concern that same route; neither assigns committed-core lineage to dirty-file extracts.
Amendment: EPI-RTE-arena-choice is superseded by MEM-RTE-arena-selection. Both trace an awaiting-choice pair through label 1/2/tie, selected integration, loser discard and choice recording. Their retained shouldMerge: false passages identify the same finalization mechanism. SRC-1: src/cli/helpers/reflection-arena.ts. The epistemic ledger's comparative-preference finding and the memory route's progress/feedback limits remain separate fields on the same route. Human-facing choice does not establish the actual chooser's identity or a factual acceptance criterion.
Containers, parts and distinct routes
EPI-OBJ-memory-prose covers core and deferred bodies together. MEM-OBJ-core-memory and MEM-OBJ-deferred-memory distinguish their operative selection and consumers. The combined declaration explicitly retains those delivery differences through its projection and fetch records; no finding becomes wrong merely by separating the parts. It therefore remains a content container, not a same-referent duplicate of either part, and is not superseded by their combination. MEM-OBJ-agent-skills additionally names procedures, discovery metadata and companion resources; that full referent is not identical to the core/deferred prose container. SRC-1: src/backend/local/system-prompt-compilation.ts, src/tools/impl/memory.ts, src/agent/client-skills.ts, src/tools/impl/skill.ts.
MEM-RTE-transcript-compaction spans planning, generation, retention and later history consumption. EPI-RTE-summary-generation ends at returned trimmed/clipped text; EPI-RTE-summary-retention begins with that result and changes stored history. Neither is identical to the full compaction chain or to each other. Their separation preserves producer versus retaining consumer; the broader route remains valid. RT-CMP-summary-model is the inference component, not a route or retained summary. All coexist with the raw-history container. SRC-1: src/backend/local/compaction.ts, src/backend/local/local-backend.ts, src/backend/local/local-store.ts.
MEM-RTE-memory-admission includes initialization, physical authoring, staging and commit admission. EPI-RTE-frontmatter-check computes diagnostics; EPI-RTE-commit-admission consumes checks to govern hook-covered commits and describes a separate publication audit. These are narrower functions, not three identical routes. MEM-OBJ-memory-constraints is the policy/hook material consumed at those gates, not the check result or admission progression. EPI-RTE-memory-restore imports a replacement directory outside that commit progression. Its existence qualifies universal gate claims without contradicting the memory member's already scoped hook claim. SRC-1: src/memory-frontmatter.ts, src/agent/memory-git-hooks.ts, src/agent/memory-constraints-audit.ts, src/cli/subcommands/memory.ts.
MEM-RTE-reflection-integration spans transcript selection, background proposals, automatic or explicit integration, progress and later memory delivery. EPI-RTE-reflection-guidance names requested semantic review; EPI-RTE-reflection-merge names branch finalization. They are not identical to the full maintenance route or each other. Its implemented launching/integration does not strengthen doctrine-only semantic compliance. MEM-OBJ-reflection-payload is selected evidence and progress metadata; EPI-OBJ-arena-choice is a later comparative disposition/log, not the payload, proposal or arena route. SRC-1: src/cli/helpers/reflection-transcript.ts, src/cli/helpers/reflection-launcher.ts, src/agent/subagents/builtin/reflection-v2.md, src/agent/memory-worktree.ts, src/cli/helpers/reflection-arena.ts.
MEM-BAP-memory-context joins several retained-memory delivery paths into the terminal model-context segment of RT-BAP-provider-context. The latter also covers general history, instructions and tool schemas. This is overlap, not identical scope or replacement. MEM-BAP-reflection-progress has a symbolic maintenance selector as consumer, rather than the turn model. Neither that path nor memory constraints are identical to RT-OBJ-tool-context's registry/scope material. SRC-1: src/backend/dev/pi-stream-adapter.ts, src/backend/local/local-backend.ts, src/cli/helpers/reflection-transcript.ts, src/tools/manager.ts.
The remaining new routes have distinct referents after comparison. MEM-RTE-skill-loading injects a requested procedure without requiring a child; MEM-RTE-transcript-search returns query-selected history rather than automatically loading it. MEM-RTE-repository-sync governs transport/membership outside foreground inference; MEM-OBJ-hosted-memory names opaque external retained state rather than the client turn. EPI-RTE-hook-policy supplies a pre-tool block/rewrite function within ordinary execution, not an identical foreground route or permission-policy claim. SRC-1: src/tools/impl/skill.ts, src/backend/message-search.ts, src/agent/attached-repository-git-sync.ts, src/agent/attached-repositories.ts, src/hooks/executor.ts, src/tools/manager.ts.
EPI-OBJ-mod-report, EPI-RTE-mod-evaluation and EPI-RTE-mod-selection respectively retain scenario findings, compute evaluation and choose/copy candidates. None is identical to RT-RTE-extension-load, which imports and activates executable code, or RT-BAP-mod-capabilities, which carries its executable force. Configuration patching and package updating likewise have separate admission and persistence. EPI-CLM-long-horizons asserts learning through self-rewriting, not the runtime's permission, isolation, checkpoint or authentication guarantees. SRC-1: src/mods/learning-harness.ts, src/mods/mod-engine.ts, src/skills/builtin/self-configuration/scripts/update-agent-settings.ts, src/updater/auto-update.ts, README.md.
The workflow member declares no records. Its task annotation supplies workflow-specific milestones on RT-RTE-subagent-task and RT-RTE-foreground-turn; it creates no duplicate identity. Its selected bidirectional non-memory workflow is narrower than the runtime's generic foreground and task capabilities. SRC-1: src/tools/impl/task.ts, src/agent/subagents/manager.ts, src/headless.ts.
Independent convergence and integration dispositions
The runtime, memory and epistemic accounts converge on delivered context versus warranted content. RT-BAP-provider-context establishes model-interpreted delivery; the memory routes trace which retained parts reach it; the epistemic ledger separates retention/selection from factual acceptance. Their implementation findings do not establish observed compliance, semantic accuracy or learning benefit. Different status vocabularies and different scopes are not disagreements.
The memory visibility issue is a scope qualification, not a correction to RT-RTE-foreground-turn. MEM-CLM-visibility-boundary and the epistemic fetch route independently distinguish committed automatic projection from working-tree tool reads. The source's commit-only slogan cannot be extended to all consumers; the runtime did not make that extension. SRC-1: src/backend/local/system-prompt-compilation.ts, src/tools/impl/memory.ts, src/tools/impl/skill.ts.
MEM-CLM-archive-projection retains a source doctrine/compiler mismatch: root ARCHIVE.md is requested for retired content, yet root Markdown remains core. The epistemic EPI-RTE-reflection-guidance reports that request without claiming effective removal from automatic context. Both positions can stand. Similarly, memory's visibility issue distinguishes requested universal deferred descriptions from implemented root bodies/directory pointers; the epistemic projection agrees with the latter. Neither mismatch is a disagreement between analyst findings. SRC-1: src/agent/subagents/builtin/reflection-v2.md, src/agent/memory-format.ts, src/backend/local/system-prompt-compilation.ts.
The memory member's worker gate distinction prevents extending reflection's dirty-parent rejection to generic workers. The runtime task record leaves memory integration separate, and the workflow deliberately selects a non-memory child. The epistemic reflection-merge record is also specifically reflection finalization. No supplied dependent conclusion requires a universal dirty-parent veto. Generic worker retry/finalization remains an inspection limit, not an evidenced absence. SRC-1: src/agent/memory-worktree.ts, src/tools/impl/task.ts.
Arena choice is human-facing in the epistemic account and not authenticated as a human principal in the memory account. These are compatible: an offered UI decision differs from evidence of who supplied a particular choice. Both retain software vetoes, discard and success-conditioned integration without factual acceptance or demonstrated feedback learning. SRC-1: src/cli/helpers/reflection-arena.ts.
The workflow's child protocol success, bounded completion notification and bidirectional parent continuation refine the generic task/foreground account. They do not assert product acceptance or one-shot asynchronous delivery. The workflow also excludes the listener-specific durable effect fence, agreeing with RT-CLM-effect-checkpoint's covered-path limit. Its recognizable truncated-stream retry does not create exactly-once effects or rollback. SRC-1: src/agent/subagents/manager.ts, src/tools/impl/task.ts, src/headless.ts, src/websocket/listener/recovered-approval-checkpoint.ts.
The epistemic mod builder adds evaluation-responsive selection where the runtime left mod-learning experiments untraced. The memory account's arena feedback-consumer uncertainty is about a different feedback route, not a denial of this builder. Scenario conformance, promotion, later mod activation and demonstrated improvement remain separate conclusions. Shared/hosted memory selectors, arena feedback consumers, full replay, repair, migration and evaluator coverage retain the supplied inspection/access limits; none is converted into absence or a complete-system negative.
No disagreement between the supplied reports, dependent finding invalidated by a changed record, or required missing part is identified. Accordingly no unresolved-conflict paragraph is declared. The supersessions above resolve duplicate identities only; source doctrine mismatches and faithful uncertainties remain with their declaring reports for verification.
