Reconciliation

Boundary and evidence basis

The supplied reports share the revision and evidence limits in the boundary and its Source register. A whole-system source boundary does not make each specialist's inspection exhaustive. Memory leaves full lab and offline-analysis internals uninspected; epistemic also identifies unassessed study selection, attribution and visualization internals. These limits prevent system-complete negatives, not the positive mechanisms established by their records. No target execution, paper dataset or causal experiment is supplied. This reconciliation uses the supplied members and their retained passages, with no additional source reads. No analyst correction answers or declined objections were supplied; the previous reconciliation is not treated as current evidence.

Duplicate identity and distinct operative parts

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-empirical-knowledge is superseded by MEM-OBJ-empirical-knowledge. Both identify the same per-agent EmpiricalKnowledge cell dictionary and extraction counters, symbolic measurements and in-process substrate. Both retain the same assignment and unobserved-material scope passages from SRC-1, src/biofoundry/knowledge.py. The epistemic record adds truth-apt scope for that object rather than identifying a separately stored or consumed part. Its inventory and sensor-route findings concern the memory record's referent. This supersession changes no finding about historical observation, resource grounding or physical validity; both IDs remain declared.

Other object overlaps do not establish duplicate identity:

Route connections and disposition of the previous conflict

MEM-RTE-context-selection separates input construction inside RT-RTE-model-planning. MEM-RTE-evidence-retention spans initialization and evidence producers during RT-RTE-world-stepping; it is not identical to the full executor. The narrower EPI-RTE-sensor-evidence, EPI-RTE-batch-measurement, EPI-RTE-recipe-admission and EPI-RTE-proposal-evaluation distinguish sensing, measurement, eligibility and proposal-time utility comparison. Sharing a handler or retained mission state does not make these routes identical or merge checking with disposition.

The earlier containment disagreement is no longer present in the supplied findings. EPI-RTE-memory-selection now explicitly spans planning and subsequent world stepping, with no Part of assertion containing the combined route in planning. It places selection and accepted citation updates in planning, and action-outcome updates after queue commitment during simulator execution. MEM-RTE-retrieval-feedback gives the same progression. Their retained SRC-1, src/biofoundry/simulation.py passage calls mark_causal_outcome; the epistemic route also explicitly traces the CLI's planning-to-stepping sequence. These positions agree with the endpoint of RT-RTE-model-planning and the executor in RT-RTE-world-stepping. No dependent finding still requires the former containment account.

The two feedback accounts overlap in the same selection/use/outcome mechanism, not independent evaluators. Their full referents nevertheless differ: EPI-RTE-memory-selection additionally includes excerpt transformation and packet omission; MEM-RTE-retrieval-feedback isolates metadata updating; MEM-RTE-context-selection covers additional observation, public and skill selectors. No full-route identity supersession is warranted. These valid combined accounts can remain alongside the declared narrower routes; separating them does not invalidate their findings or require inventing another record.

EPI-RTE-insight-circulation and MEM-RTE-social-retention independently describe retained-content transfer and publication provenance. Memory additionally covers COMMUNICATE, request fulfillment and sender receipts. The deposit/publication/teaching route therefore does not replace the broader social route. MEM-BAP-evidence-admission identifies retained evidence at fixed-rule validators, whereas RT-BAP-action-dispatch identifies general executable action authority. Their consumer scopes differ; neither duplicates the other.

Convergence and integration-issue dispositions

Selected need not mean delivered. The context and feedback records agree that counters and diagnostics precede trimming. Epistemic's semantic-loss assessment concerns the delivered excerpt; memory's unchanged-original finding concerns the authoritative stored record. These are compatible. The memory integration issue qualifies diagnostic interpretation rather than contradicting runtime's prompt-budget account. None of the three reports treats selection or delivery as demonstrated model reliance.

Replay does not promise a complete adaptive checkpoint. Memory's replay annotation states that research records are restored but retrieval scoring/use evolution is not replayed, and selector metadata is outside the inspected authoritative serialization. RT-RTE-recorded-replay establishes fixed-action reconstruction and specified digest checks, not resumed adaptive decision-making. The memory integration issue therefore limits what digest agreement could establish without correcting a runtime finding. Neither report observes successful replay.

Verification labels do not certify competence. MEM-OBJ-program-skills establishes measured exposure and transfer of verification flags, not evaluator success. EPI-RTE-sensor-evidence agrees about measured provenance while leaving the full skill lifecycle uninspected. That narrower inspection is uncertainty, not a disagreement with memory's inheritance or teaching findings. The batch and recipe records likewise distinguish hidden threshold flags, private measurements and mechanical proposal validation from acceptance of explanatory prose.

Admission, evaluation and delivery have different owners. The workflow account and its annotations reuse runtime records without additional declarations. Workflow agrees with runtime about schema admission before queue commitment, simulator admission afterward, and outage freezing on any qualifying transient failure under the shipped driver protocol. Policy restoration and driver retry do not promise eventual provider recovery. Episode delivery is recorder completion and summary return, not scientific success or mandatory replay. RT-RTE-ecology-assay and workflow's assay annotation place optional results in researcher-facing output rather than live plan approval. EPI-RTE-proposal-evaluation instead compares recipe/material utility; it is not the frozen-society assay. Neither unexecuted comparison establishes causal benefit.

Claims and independent properties remain separate. EPI-CLM-research-environment concerns declared environment scope; RT-CLM-grounded-science is model guidance. They are distinct claims. The supplied accounts consistently separate retained hypotheses, available evidence IDs and automatic scheduling from demonstrated content-dependent criticism, improved future capacity and exercised theory building. RT-CMP-configured-model separately leaves provider parameter mutability uninspected. Simulator-memory adaptation does not resolve that uncertainty.

The memory report's possible-overlap issues are disposed above as one object supersession and otherwise distinct parts, containers or intersecting routes. Its remaining inspection limits and the epistemic coverage limits remain limitations, not cross-report contradictions. No unresolved disagreement remains among the supplied findings; this states their compatibility, not verification of their support or acceptance of the analysis.
