Verification
The handed public synthesis supports publication as a bounded account of evaluation and context-update mechanisms, not demonstrated improvement. I checked every substantive passage and the property table against the supplied records, their annotations, the reconciliation's supersession and the settled verification judgments. No correction answers or prior synthesis refusal were supplied. This judgment adds no evidence or corrected text.
- Boundary and runtime map: The opening identifies the parent artifact, frozen revision, cutoff and partial execution loop. It preserves the distinction between implementation, instructions, attributed reporting and missing observed or causal evidence. The five-method map and separate official driver agree with RT-RTE-evaluation-attempt, RT-RTE-jaz-queue, RT-RTE-fresh-session, RT-RTE-ace-adaptation, RT-RTE-letta-bridge and RT-RTE-smolagents-chain. The account does not attribute excluded runtime or benchmark responsibilities to this package. Its limits on universal controls are supported by the direct-call budget exception, tool-wrapper scope and remote bridge, rather than inferred from missing runs.
- Representative workflow and feedback: The public progression preserves root-owned sequencing, manual instruction forwarding, shared live-world effects and explicitly returned histories. Its immediately adjacent qualification distinguishes requested batch testing from an enforced acceptance gate. Submission retry retains the non-scalar and text-match conditions; grading despite submission failure, grader-error recording and unconditional advancement agree with WF-RTE-task-submission, EPI-RTE-appworld-check and EPI-RTE-appworld-disposition. The StuLife contrast is confined to the completion channel established by EPI-RTE-stulife-feedback, not generalized into absence of all task evidence.
- Advice production, admission and consumption: The ACE chain follows RT-RTE-ace-adaptation and MEM-OBJ-playbook. It separates the live string from snapshots, structural write admission from advisory solver authority, and initial supply from unresolved authorship. The public text does not upgrade retained advice into accepted knowledge or infer a particular content transformation without a generated instance. Trajectory head truncation, diagnostic rationale and stripped counters agree with MEM-OBJ-adaptation-artifacts, MEM-OBJ-playbook-counts, EPI-RTE-curator-check and EPI-RTE-curator-admission.
- Context continuation and delivery: Requested history transfer remains afforded, not observed or mechanically lossless. Display suffixes are distinguished from full wrapped payloads under MEM-RTE-jaz-history and MEM-RTE-smolagents-history. The Letta account preserves positive initialization/message/summary seams without inventing complete retrieval, editing or recovery under MEM-OBJ-memory-blocks, MEM-OBJ-conversation, MEM-OBJ-compaction-summary and MEM-OBJ-archival-memory. Partial-result delivery and AppWorld's ineffective queue-exhaustion return guard retain their exceptions. The later analysis consumer uses the canonical MEM-RTE-artifact-analysis, consistent with reconciliation's supersession, without asserting an automatic solver-update loop.
- Independent improvement properties: The synthesis leads with the wired ACE update and afforded JAZ revision rather than bundling missing properties into a negative verdict. Each theory-builder condition, reflection, reflective/autonomous theory building and dispositional self-improvement retains the assessment strength of RT-RTE-ace-adaptation and RT-RTE-jaz-queue. It separately states the boundary, within-attempt horizon and benchmark objective, unestablished subsequent causal dependence, and missing benefit evidence. Its scenario-relative assessment and proposed resolving evidence do not claim an experiment was performed or recommend adoption.
I reassessed the report verification's sole limit rather than treating it as an automatic objection. The supplied dedup records establish overlapping selection and pass-wide removal; their local failure-preservation wording cannot warrant pass-wide survival. The synthesis explicitly states that exception in both its advice account and Limitations, with the affected records and prevented conclusion. This faithfully carries the settled consequence without reopening the analyst records. Profile verification adds no limits, and reconciliation identifies no unresolved cross-report conflict. The remaining limitations preserve external implementation gaps, missing runs, unresolved initialization, opaque Letta alternatives, incomplete publication-consumer coverage and adapter/model-control scope. These are already bounded uncertainties, not additional defects.

Limits
- Dedup failure preservation remains local, not pass-wide losslessness. MEM-RTE-playbook-dedup and EPI-RTE-dedup-replacement, supported by SRC-1,
src/jaz_evals/harnesses/ace_dedup.py, retain local group-preservation wording alongside overlapping groups. Removal through another successful group can still affect a failed group's members. Readers must withhold whole-group survival across the complete pass and semantic preservation. The synthesis already carries these consequences; the implemented similarity-selected rewriting route, advisory delivery and independently unestablished benefit remain supported. No public-text repair is required for this retained record limit.
