From Agent Memory to Portable Skills report verification

Verification

The runtime, memory, epistemic, workflow and reconciliation members support a bounded, document-grounded account. I independently read SRC-1, article.html, the complete substantive article and captions from “Grounded skill distillation” through “Resources,” and compared the described progression and alternatives with the submitted findings. The boundary correctly separates the skill-building subsystem from upstream memory production and downstream host execution. No implementation, generated package, review decision or execution trace is supplied. Reported availability does not establish observed operation.

Record support and evidence strength

  • RT-CMP-llm, RT-OBJ-procedure-graph and RT-OBJ-skill-package distinguish model state, symbolic topology/bindings and interpreted procedure text. SRC-1's synthesis, output and AIP-in-NAMS paragraphs support these distinctions. Model fixity, exported bytes and uniform host execution remain explicitly uninspected.
  • MEM-OBJ-memory-text, MEM-OBJ-tool-call, MEM-OBJ-memory-graph and EPI-OBJ-scoped-memory match the raw-input and memory-types paragraphs. The aggregate and differentiated inputs are compatible. Fixed-role graph fields do not classify arbitrary payloads as symbolic; original authorship, extraction fidelity and status-update provenance remain unresolved rather than inferred from node names.
  • EPI-OBJ-claims and EPI-OBJ-step-annotations are supported parts of the package. The synthesis passage distinguishes assertions from names, descriptions and completion criteria. Without specimens, their semantic transformation remains indeterminate; deterministic processing and source references alone do not establish entailment or non-entailment.
  • RT-RTE-skill-distillation faithfully orders scope, snapshot, consolidation, topology, synthesis, gates and pending persistence. EPI-RTE-source-check, EPI-RTE-quality-check and EPI-RTE-pending-admission are supported parts of that route. Their ledger separates checking, rejection/admission and retention. Source existence is not semantic support; score definitions and failure transactions remain unknown.
  • RT-RTE-review-delivery and RT-BAP-skill-consumption preserve the distinction between a human publication decision and later interpreted guidance. Workflow's account connects only stages the article itself connects. It does not invent successful receipt, task execution, tool permissions or an automatic rejection-retry loop.
  • RT-RTE-drift-check matches the expected/current ToolCall-status comparison. RT-RTE-step-repair matches survivor traversal, deletion removal, graph revalidation, superseding patch and no-survivor refusal. Neither establishes causal diagnosis, restored tool success or downstream withdrawal. Independent theory-builder, learning, reflection and self-improvement qualifications remain proportionate to the missing content and consumer evidence.
  • RT-CLM-admission-controls, EPI-CLM-actionable-knowledge and EPI-CLM-graph-validity retain the article's assurances as claims, not verified guarantees. The AIP comparison is correctly attributed to another evaluation; it cannot isolate a NAMS component effect. The epistemic ledger's doctrine-only statuses agree with claimed routes and uninspected operation. No evidenced-absence records are declared.

Alternatives, reconciliation and stopping decision

The consequential omission questions were whether every skill must be a graph, whether all release paths have established human approval, whether drift detection automatically changes later behavior, and whether the cited performance contrast demonstrates NAMS improvement. Their search basis was the entire captured article, including captions, producer/consumer descriptions, maintenance branches and future-work paragraph, not only the reports' quoted anchors. No repository tree or shipped caller implementation exists in this capture to inspect.

The thin-scope prose branch defeats a universal graph assurance; the reports already preserve it. Initial pending review supports an initial publication policy, but repair has a separate patch path without specified mandatory re-approval. HTTP/MCP/dashboard equivalence, raw reads and alternate writers are not independently traceable. The runtime therefore bounds controls rather than claiming bypass exclusion or a demonstrated bypass. Governance flags and patch supersession do not establish automatic host updates. Future selection/editing work supplies no missing current consumer implementation. The AIP figures remain secondhand, not a NAMS causal experiment. These dispositions preserve the reports' central conclusions without broader searches outside the frozen capture.

Reconciliation correctly retains valid aggregate/part records and distinct claims rather than superseding them. I checked all five explicit Part of: relations: the two package parts and three distillation-route parts have supported containment. No supersessions or unresolved cross-report conflicts require disposition. Memory's integration questions remain compatible with the other members' qualifications; the workflow annotations do not strengthen enforcement or operation status. All record source anchors were assessed for meaning against the corresponding article sections; quotation occurrence and reference syntax remain code checks. The supplied structural report says none, and all four correction-answer inputs are empty.

Further omission expansion stopped because the complete substantive capture provides a disposition for each identified material challenge. Linked resources and remote images are outside the frozen evidence, not unsearched implementation supporting a broader claim. The existing wording already withholds enforcement, complete context, semantic acceptance, host compliance and causal-benefit conclusions. These faithfully scoped uncertainties do not require additional verifier limits or correction requests.
