Reconciliation
Boundary and evidence
The four reports share the boundary and its Source register. They characterize CM's shipped memory loop, not the enclosing agent's task execution. Their implementation findings do not establish observed operation or causal benefit. The supplied refusal challenges the previous reconciliation's hypothetical conflict-rejection path. The current runtime and memory members correct their conflict-specific rejection findings; the current workflow member retains warning-only treatment. The dispositions below use these supplied corrected records, not the older fragments in the refusal. No separate analyst answers were supplied. This reconciliation uses the supplied members only; no frozen-source ambiguity required an additional source read.
Identity and containment
Amendment: EPI-RTE-outcome-feedback is superseded by MEM-RTE-outcome-feedback. Both identify the same outcome/context-log enrichment, signal scoring, rule-ID targeting, event/maturity update and save performed by applyOutcomeFeedback. Their SRC-1 src/outcome.ts passages establish the shared consumer and update: the epistemic record retains scoring and per-ID iteration; the memory record retains the same context-log backfill that the epistemic object quotes. Both report wired implementation and uninspected operation. This identity connects the epistemic adaptation ledger to the memory route; it does not replace either report's findings or extend the epistemic analyst's inspection to the full automatic classifier. Neither is identical to RT-RTE-feedback-update, which admits an explicit single-rule judgment.
The remaining route overlaps do not establish identity:
- MEM-RTE-rule-curation is a stage within RT-RTE-reflection-update. EPI-RTE-evidence-check, EPI-RTE-validation-disposition, EPI-RTE-diary-inference and EPI-RTE-curator-inversion isolate different functions within that end-to-end route. The inversion is narrower than the memory curation route. These valid containers and parts need no supersession.
- EPI-RTE-playbook-import covers the import branch of MEM-RTE-portable-admission, whose additional starter/init branches prevent exact identity. Neither duplicates RT-RTE-onboard-add: imported retained standing differs from caller-formulated ordinary additions.
- EPI-RTE-reliance-maintenance covers selected maintenance functions also covered by MEM-RTE-rule-withdrawal. The latter additionally covers hard removal and blocked-log reload filtering. Different coverage and endpoints rule out treating these declarations as interchangeable complete routes.
- MEM-RTE-provenance-read spans why, HTTP resources/search and project export. RT-RTE-http-tools spans authenticated dispatch and shared mutation drivers. Their intersecting resource readers do not make the routes identical. Neither is the task-ranked RT-RTE-context-read.
- EPI-RTE-standalone-validate ends at a printed assessment, unlike reflection disposition. EPI-RTE-retrieval-benchmark evaluates authored ranking fixtures, unlike production retrieval. No supplied route duplicates either.
MEM-OBJ-diary-entry and EPI-OBJ-session-diary overlap in retained diary descriptions. The epistemic record expressly also includes classifier status; the memory record distinguishes descriptive fields from symbolic metadata. The combined epistemic referent is therefore not identical to the memory record's natural-language operative part. Likewise EPI-OBJ-outcome-feedback spans outcome attribution inputs and generated events, overlapping MEM-OBJ-context-log, MEM-OBJ-feedback-events and MEM-OBJ-feedback-context. Its combined-container findings are not shown wrong by these distinctions, so no split supersession is asserted.
The other memory objects identify reasons, scheduling metadata, vectors, blocked content and trauma parts, not duplicate instruction content, model weights or routes. In particular MEM-OBJ-reasoning is distinct from RT-OBJ-playbook-bullet; MEM-OBJ-embedding-cache is an output of RT-CMP-embedding-model, not that component. EPI-OBJ-validation-result has no complete counterpart elsewhere. The epistemic scientific-validation and pattern-learning claims have different source assertions from the runtime automatic-learning and criticism-request claims; they require no supersession. Workflow declares no new records.
Missing operative parts
Unresolved conflict: EPI-OBJ-session-diary, MEM-OBJ-diary-entry and EPI-RTE-diary-inference expose a combined diary object but no separately declared symbolic outcome-status part. The epistemic object explicitly distinguishes checks on classifier status from model-derived text; its route retains SRC-1 src/diary.ts's default-success witness, while the memory object identifies natural-language fields and symbolic metadata separately. The missing part prevents attaching the inferred-status finding and its distinct check/consumer limits to an object declaration independently of the summary text. This is a record-granularity issue, not a disagreement that fast diaries persist or that the default-success branch exists. No undeclared ID or replacement finding is allocated here.
Unresolved conflict: EPI-OBJ-validation-result combines fixed-consumer verdict/count fields with linguistic reason and refinement without separately declaring those operative parts. EPI-RTE-validation-disposition and workflow's reflection annotation retain the SRC-1 src/orchestrator.ts handoff showing refinement can replace addition text, whereas the boolean determines progression. The missing reason/refinement part prevents independently connecting interpreted explanation or substituted wording to its consumer and warrant limits. The verifier must determine the needed declaring-member correction; this reconciliation does not convert valid permission into evidence-backed acceptance or invent a retained dossier.
Convergence and integration dispositions
The memory integration issues correct the memory member's prior conflict-specific rejection finding, require no correction to the current supplied runtime baseline, and propose no duplicate referent. Their scoped supplements remain compatible with that baseline:
- Shared CLI/MCP rule selection does not mean identical complete safety-warning payloads. The memory annotation distinguishes the CLI-only trauma warning from the shared context generator. This does not contradict the baseline's common selector.
- Retained reasons can be shortened, omitted from later reflection prompts or stale after replacement. Memory's reasoning and curation findings connect to workflow's unchanged formatted snapshot across proposal passes and runtime's uninspected criticism iteration. Persistence does not establish that a criticism shaped the next round.
- Outcome attribution, direct marks and curation all alter standing, but none supplies causal evidence that a rule helped. The epistemic ledger's implemented architecture is compatible with runtime/memory wired implementation and uninspected operation; these are different status vocabularies, not stronger findings.
- Validation checks and disposition are distinct. Some reflection branches consume historical-support evidence; others admit unchecked candidates. Standalone validation prints a result. EPI-RTE-validation-disposition additionally traces valid-delta collection, surviving new-add lineage/reasoning, save and later reflection/context consumers (SRC-1
src/orchestrator.ts,src/curate.ts,src/playbook.ts,src/reflect.ts,src/commands/context.ts). Its ledger identifies implemented conditional lifecycle integration after evidence-consuming acceptance, not observed accepted instances. This is compatible with memory's selective rationale retention and workflow's admission milestones: unchecked admissions acquire no evidence-backed acceptance merely by sharing downstream machinery; substituted refinements receive no independent recheck. Memory's evaluator-limits claim and workflow's conditional handoffs converge with this account without requiring universal acceptance or universal lack of acceptance. - Workflow separates diary persistence, proposal generation, validity, fresh-state curation, playbook save, processed marking and later selection. Its dry-run diary effect and partial-progress/retry account supplement the runtime's nontransactional persistence limits; neither promises zero effects or complete rollback.
The refusal's conflict-treatment blocker is resolved by the supplied corrected reports. RT-RTE-reflection-update and MEM-RTE-rule-curation now distinguish required-field, missing-target and duplicate controls from warning-only conflict detection. Both agree with workflow's reflection annotation. The runtime record retains SRC-1 src/curate.ts's warning-only comment, conflict log action skipped, missing-field rejection and subsequent accepted-add witness; memory traces that same progression. The conflict loop has no rejection exit: its log label does not veto candidate admission, and directive disagreement excludes lexical/embedding duplicate matches instead of rejecting contrary guidance. The former rejection wording is no longer a finding of either current record. There is therefore no remaining cross-report conflict about this branch, and no evidenced conflict-rejection path to preserve or hypothesize. Required-field and duplicate controls remain separate admission controls; these reports do not establish a preventive contradiction gate. This disposition changes no record identity or status and needs no supersession.
Opaque source origin, model version, imported authorship, residual exports and host enforcement remain limitations in the reports, not cross-report disagreements. The memory trauma-admission route supplies batch initializer approval without converting generic manual callers or computational reflection into human-approved content. Runtime guard consumption, memory's pattern/explanation split and the epistemic regex-membership license retain separate advisory and conditional-enforcement channels. All reports leave actual compliance, safety effectiveness and useful learning unobserved. The named uninspected operations remain local coverage limits rather than evidenced absences.
