Decapod report verification

Verification

The current reports support publication of a bounded account, with the two limits below. The three previous blockers are repaired. Decapod supplies host-operated governance, requested context and retained-content delivery, structural admission and covered publication checks. The reports do not establish host compliance, observed task success or causal improvement.

All supplied inputs, types, contracts and the previous verification were read completely, including continuations. The memory answers address two corrections; the epistemic answer addresses one; runtime and workflow answers are empty. Answers and previous judgments were assessed as arguments, not accepted as proof. The current report-check says none, so there is no structural failure to route. Source HEAD independently equals the reviewed revision; the enumerated top-level tree agrees with the boundary coverage. All additional source inspection below belongs to SRC-1 at that revision and supplies implementation or attributed doctrine/design only. No target, tests, examples, services or model providers were executed.

Correction dispositions

RPC decision admission is now accurately rejected. I traced the caller at SRC-1, src/decapod/lib.rs, through provenance validation before the transaction at src/decapod/plugins/federation.rs. The fixed rpc:store.upsert source does not match the anchored accepted schemes. MEM-RTE-decision-memory and MEM-OBJ-federation-node now distinguish that rejection from valid federation writes and independent RPC reads. The coverage, write-side, read-back and integration passages consistently withdraw the successful RPC producer chain. Independent inspection of src/decapod/plugins/federation_ext.rs confirms that list returns lifecycle fields without sources or edges. The retained wired status explicitly covers implemented rejection, valid persistence and listing, not successful RPC admission. The former false-positive chain is no longer emitted.

Feedback requested read-back is wired. At SRC-1, src/decapod/lib.rs, GovernCommand::Feedback initializes storage, calls add_feedback for Add and calls and prints propose_prefs for Propose. The formatter at src/decapod/plugins/feedback.rs selects ten rows and appends the constant placeholder diff. MEM-RTE-feedback-proposal, its coverage and read-back passages now preserve this shipped caller. It agrees with EPI-RTE-feedback-proposal without upgrading the placeholder to inferred knowledge or installed policy. The capability-only finding is repaired; adoption remains unobserved.

Expiry withdrawal is afforded, not established shipped invocation. I independently searched SRC-1, src/, assets/tools/ and .github/ for decay_knowledge; the only occurrence was its public declaration. The implementation at src/decapod/plugins/knowledge.rs selects expired active ephemeral/decay rows, optionally stales them and logs an event. EPI-RTE-knowledge-withdraw now gives implementation status afforded, conditional effects and caller-search scope. Its coverage and bounded conclusion no longer imply automatic maintenance. Architectural implemented correctly describes the inspected algorithm. This agrees with the decay branch of MEM-RTE-promotion-lifecycle; ordinary search still does not independently expire rows. No source-grounded scheduled caller is asserted.

Record, evidence and relation checks

The semantic review covered all 14 runtime, 26 memory and 23 epistemic declarations, their source anchors, evidence layers and statuses, memory and workflow annotations, all seven amendments and the single declared Part of: relation. Workflow declares no records. None of the reports declares an evidenced absence. All operation statuses remain uninspected; source code and doctrine are not promoted to observed activation or causal benefit. Deterministic citation resolution and quotation occurrence are the content check's responsibility, not substitutes for the support judgments below.

Runtime and workflow. Independent source reads traced prompt-marker classification at SRC-1, src/decapod/core/agent_eval.rs; session reacquisition, RPC guards, context delivery, validation healing/retries, child supervision and installer dispatch at src/decapod/lib.rs; workspace preparation and publication at src/decapod/core/workspace.rs; and post-push failure and exact remote identity reads at src/decapod/core/workspace_publication.rs. These support the eight runtime routes and the selected workflow account. Missing or wrong local credentials can reacquire rather than require human approval. The default workspace is non-containerized. The host owns continuation and semantic repair; covered checks do not intercept arbitrary shell/Git commands.

For RT-RTE-context-resolve, direct reads of SRC-1, src/decapod/core/docs.rs, src/decapod/core/project_specs.rs and src/decapod/lib.rs confirm scoped ranking followed by merged reference sorting, deduplication and truncation, plus additional projected spec fields. Thus the two text authority paths preserve delivery without claiming total model-window bounding or semantic obedience. The external-action default shell allowlist and write-approval distinction at src/decapod/core/external_action.rs support the runtime's restricted enforcement account, not a deployment sandbox.

The accepted-executor object and RT-RTE-validate-candidate are supported by SRC-1, src/decapod/core/readiness_profile.rs and src/decapod/core/validation_runtime.rs: captured executor identity is separate from candidate-supplied content, compiled closure agreement is checked, and current accepted-base ancestry is required. Project prerequisites, CI-local output and full readiness remain distinct. RT-RTE-workspace-publish performs its readiness call after optional commit, then reads the exact remote destination and verifies PR state; post-push rejection can leave remote effects. The workflow annotations preserve that distinction and withhold merge/deployment or user-facing success.

The shipped contract at SRC-1, AGENTS.md, supports initialization, authored living specs, checkpoint/commit and same-branch repair. It also expressly permits branch pushes before preflight under its configured validation workflow. That does not contradict the reports' selected workspace-publisher ordering: their enforcement claims concern that route, not every branch push or remote proof transport. No universal no-push-before-proof guarantee is accepted.

The Jev component, assurance route and retained-ledger relationship were traced at SRC-1, src/decapod/core/decision_provider.rs, src/decapod/core/assurance.rs and src/decapod/core/jev_history.rs. The mutable alias, probability/type checks, no-observation cases, append/reset and narrowed plan/claims/trajectory/validation input support advisory observation, not an answer oracle or policy approval. Prior Jev probabilities are not included in that inspected subsequent provider context. The release updater is independently version-selected executable replacement, not evidence-responsive self-improvement.

Memory. The fourteen objects distinguish retained text, originals, derived summaries, opaque bytes, access metadata and symbolic control state. The eleven routes and retained-content authority path retain their different selectors and consumers. Direct reads of SRC-1, src/decapod/plugins/knowledge.rs support caller-controlled content, procedural-prefix/event checks, merge versus supersede, active-row substring selection and optional time/recency behavior. Promotion retains evidence references and asserted approval without authenticating them or binding the subsequent body semantically. The aggregate afforded lifecycle record explicitly preserves wired promotion separately from library maintenance.

SRC-1, src/decapod/core/todo.rs confirms best-effort handoff-derived knowledge and aptitude observations. src/decapod/plugins/aptitude.rs confirms preference overwrite/access metrics, regex annotation, pending observations, active/context/global prompt selection and usage-based tie-breaking. Consolidation does not mutate preference content. Known reads coexist correctly with unresolved prompt initialization. No observed adoption follows from access counts.

SRC-1, src/decapod/plugins/context.rs and src/decapod/plugins/archive.rs support file-copy, summary/pointer replacement and explicit budgeted restoration, with the collision and unchecked-restore qualifications now present. src/decapod/plugins/lcm.rs supports raw-event retention, chronological 64 KiB prefix derivation, summary/original lookup and index rebuild. The summary hash and original pointers do not guarantee semantic fidelity; arbitrary byte slicing can fail inside UTF-8. Neither route automatically replaces host conversation turns.

SRC-1, src/decapod/plugins/internalize.rs confirms cached manifests, empty noop output, external producer handoff, hash/TTL/replay/tool checks, metadata attachment and mount deletion. MEM-OBJ-adapter-payload and MEM-RTE-internalization-lease correctly withhold payload encoding, model loading and parameter-change conclusions. SRC-1, src/decapod/core/trajectory.rs, src/decapod/core/assurance.rs and src/decapod/core/jev_history.rs support active-section replacement, later structural/provider consumers and committed-history recovery rather than raw transcript authenticity or automatic semantic rollback. src/decapod/core/context_bundle.rs confirms persisted by-value snippets, hash/current-input/capability checks and import validation; compatible encoded identity does not establish host trust or model insertion. These source reads agree with the corresponding memory annotations and route limits.

Epistemic and reconciliation. All ten epistemic objects, ten routes and three claims retain their different licenses. Direct reads of SRC-1, src/decapod/plugins/eval.rs confirm imported judge JSON rather than live model invocation, binary-score aggregation and seeded bootstrap, optional required-gate reload and upper-interval-endpoint rejection. The all-zero/all-one deduction follows the algorithm; it does not authenticate its premises. The publisher's explicit eval gate call at src/decapod/core/workspace.rs supports EPI-RTE-eval-promotion-gate's containment in the runtime publication route. Separate exact-candidate readiness is not replaced by this unbound aggregate helper.

Knowledge checks, internalization metadata, fixed feedback formatting and LCM truncation support the ledger's distinctions between acquisition, transformation, retention, checking and operational admission. No evidence-consuming acceptance of a general causal or accepted ampliative claim is inferred. Doctrine/design claims about checked work, variance-aware promotion and replay remain compared with their bounded implementations, not treated as observed guarantees. The reports' independent uncertainties about learning, criticism, theory building and exercised self-improvement are faithfully scoped rather than system-complete negatives.

The seven duplicate amendments identify five common objects and two common lifecycles. They preserve both declarations and their fields rather than transferring stronger statuses. The broader knowledge/lifecycle and LCM routes are valid groupings alongside narrower functions; evaluation's container remains valid alongside verdict and aggregate. No additional required split was established. The reassessed disagreements accurately remove the former feedback and decay conflicts and preserve the corrected decision rejection. Current reports contain no established unresolved cross-report conflict. Differences in inspection depth and unknown external adoption are not conflicting findings. Reconciliation's statement that no answers were supplied describes its own inputs, not the answer files handed to this verification.

Consequential omission searches and stopping decision

Search questions were selected from the frozen tree, shipped CLI/RPC and producer/consumer dependencies, not merely report anchors.

  1. Do public capabilities have shipped callers, and can claimed writes pass downstream admission? Searches across SRC-1, src/, assets/tools/ and .github/, followed by caller/validator reads, independently settled feedback wiring, rejected RPC decision provenance and afforded decay. Prompt-add and adapter-path searches support retaining unknown initialization/loading rather than claiming absence. The current corrections dispose of these questions.
  2. Do worker or health/reflex alternatives change the host-owned workflow or trace-fed inventory? Reads at SRC-1, src/decapod/core/todo.rs, src/decapod/plugins/health.rs and src/decapod/plugins/reflex.rs confirm optional worker lesson attempts and health-state-driven remediation todos. The inspected worker marks task state and captures a baseline; it does not perform the coding/inference loop. Its context summary contains knowledge-hit counts, not returned bodies. Health evaluates declared proof results and freshness, not an independently authenticated semantic theory. These alternatives extend the partial inventory, with the first limit below.
  3. Can retention or green artifacts justify guaranteed replay or delivery? Consumer-side reads confirmed archive overwrite ordering and restore without verification, LCM prefix fidelity limits, metadata-only attach, optional aggregate gating versus current readiness, and post-push acknowledgement. Current records preserve these distinctions. The archive limit remains consequential even though it is now explicitly stated in memory.

Further optional omission expansion stopped because each selected question has a supported disposition, and no identified material challenge remains without one. Full remote proof/release drivers, decision-tree producers, scheduler transformations and host activation remain insufficient for exhaustive comparisons. More available files alone would not justify expanding this bounded account into complete behavior enumeration. No unsearched behavior is classified as absent.

The following minimum passages support the additional partial-inventory findings; the corrected records supply the load-bearing passages for the repaired defects and archive limit.

if lesson { record_task_lesson(store, &task, agent_id, &context_summary); } --- src/decapod/core/todo.rs

"Agent {} completed task {} using worker loop.\nContext summary: {}", --- src/decapod/core/todo.rs

let task_title = format!( "Remediate {} health claim: {}", state_str.to_lowercase(), claim_id ); --- src/decapod/plugins/reflex.rs

Limits

  • The automatic-write and authority-route inventories remain partial: MEM-RTE-handoff-memory, memory coverage and epistemic coverage do not fully trace optional worker lessons or health/reflex remediation. SRC-1, src/decapod/core/todo.rs attempts lesson retention in knowledge and federation; src/decapod/plugins/health.rs derives states from recorded proof labels and freshness; src/decapod/plugins/reflex.rs can consume those states to create remediation todos. These additions do not establish successful task execution, semantic policy learning or exercised self-improvement. The bounded positive routes and partial inventories remain supported; withhold exhaustive automatic-curation, trace-origin and evaluator/authority-route comparisons. Lesson write success, actual activation and remediation completion remain unestablished.
  • MEM-OBJ-archive-entry and MEM-RTE-archive-context support copying complete original bytes and replacing a working file with summary/pointer only without a general durability guarantee. SRC-1, src/decapod/plugins/context.rs uses second-resolution archive identity/path and overwriting fs::write before index registration; same-second packs can overwrite earlier bytes even if registration then rejects the duplicate ID. The current report correctly preserves this defect. Withhold all-packs durable original retention or reliable recovery claims. Successful noncolliding copy/restore and the distinction between original retention and summary fidelity remain supported; no collision execution was observed.
