Ecdysis profile verification

Verification
I checked every axis, unit assessment, positive finding and evidence basis in the memory profile against the handed runtime, memory, epistemic and workflow members. I applied the profile type's definitions, including operation-relative read-back and the distinction between trace-fed writes and demonstrated improved capacity. No source reads or additional evidence were needed. No refusal was supplied; the handed profile answers were empty.
The profile keeps the generic harness, arbitrary task/tool/output payloads, artifact metadata and unresolved caller admission within the relevant inventories. It excludes static shipped policy, provider internals and external stores rather than classifying all runtime storage as accumulated memory. The reconciliation's transcript, round-record and skill supersessions are respected: findings use the canonical memory declarations. The failure display and proposed-change part remain separate from their upstream evidence and containing specification. I found no disagreement among the handed reports that changes a classification.
| Axis | Judgment and consequential qualification |
|---|---|
storage_substrate |
Supported. Lists, dictionaries and dataclasses establish in-process retention; checkpoint, artifact and explicit outcome writes establish files. The known assessment concerns these shipped stores, not the internal encoding or external persistence of opaque values. The generic harness is explicitly retained in memory, while its caller-dependent persistence is not attributed to Ecdysis: RT-OBJ-frozen-harness. The file findings are supported by MEM-OBJ-checkpoint, MEM-OBJ-skill-artifact and MEM-OBJ-inference-record. |
representational_form |
Supported as partial. Text interpreted by review/editor and fixed-rule structural fields have separate consumption descriptions. The synthetic revision witness is symbolic; the generic harness, arbitrary payloads and metadata remain unresolved. JSON display does not classify an opaque original payload: MEM-OBJ-trajectories, MEM-OBJ-transcript, RT-OBJ-review-spec, RT-OBJ-frozen-harness and MEM-OBJ-inference-record. |
lineage |
Supported as partial. Imported evidence and its extraction path are distinguished; review derivation, compiled checkpoint/control fields and round records do not resolve initial harness or skill provenance. The harness finding describes the wired evidence-to-editor/admission path, not authenticated derivation of every possible harness component. Default source labels are not promoted into positive lineage: EPI-RTE-failure-shaping, MEM-OBJ-transcript, MEM-OBJ-checkpoint, RT-RTE-candidate-admission and MEM-OBJ-evolved-skill. |
behavioral_authority |
Supported as partial. Evidence at update consumers, transcript at later roles, specification at editor, checkpoint controls at reentry and artifact scope/IDs at load/merge retain distinct effects. Fixed-code group ordering supports ranking without a learned ranking policy. Hash/scope vetoes support validation and enforcement without epistemic endorsement. Skill inspection is not task-agent instruction force. Opaque harness effects remain unclassified: RT-RTE-failure-review, RT-BAP-review-editor, RT-RTE-checkpoint-recovery, RT-RTE-artifact-utilities and RT-BAP-retained-harness. |
write_agency |
Supported as partial. Automatic extraction, review admission, generated checkpoints, scalar reference admission and accounting are not made manual by caller launch. Initial content, callback-internal decisions, skill supply and separate checkpoint replacements remain unresolved rather than inferred from physical writes: MEM-OBJ-checkpoint, RT-RTE-candidate-admission, MEM-OBJ-round-record and RT-RTE-artifact-utilities. |
curation_operations |
Supported as partial. Evidence/history reduction supports consolidation; first-ID collection filtering suppresses duplicate units rather than merely checking a storage key. Checkpoint mismatch withdraws current reliance while retaining the file. Accepted reference replacement supports bounded evolution, not reliable semantic repair. No synthesis is inferred from model requests or possible novelty, and no decay is inferred from display omission: EPI-RTE-failure-shaping, MEM-OBJ-transcript, RT-RTE-artifact-utilities, RT-RTE-checkpoint-recovery and RT-RTE-candidate-admission. |
read_back_direction |
Supported as partial. Automatic history delivery to a fresh role invocation is push. Explicit checkpoint and artifact requests are pull; requested cached return is not counted again as push. Trainer supply and explicit later inference are distinguished. Immediate audit/output retention is not a later invocation, and external consumer alternatives remain unresolved: MEM-OBJ-transcript, RT-RTE-checkpoint-recovery, RT-BAP-review-editor, RT-BAP-retained-harness and RT-RTE-artifact-utilities. |
read_back_signal |
Supported as partial. Tail position and current workflow/reference availability establish coarse selection on the named push operations. Explicit paths, compatibility hashes and deduplication IDs are not independent targeted identifier push. Inapplicability is local to assessed request branches, not asserted for unresolved alternatives: RT-RTE-failure-review, RT-RTE-candidate-admission, RT-RTE-checkpoint-recovery and RT-RTE-artifact-utilities. |
trace_learning |
Supported as partial. Automatically produced review guidance has optional checkpoint persistence and later resumed-role/cached-editor consumers. The adapter-mediated update also connects trace input, automatic admission and later retained-reference consumption. These wired findings establish the defined write routes, not actual semantic responsiveness, external persistence or benefit. Unresolved skill origins and replacements remain separate. Raw audit retention is not itself a qualifying write: MEM-OBJ-checkpoint, RT-RTE-failure-review, RT-RTE-checkpoint-recovery, RT-RTE-candidate-admission and RT-BAP-retained-harness. |
trace_source |
Supported as partial. Scored task experience, retained conversational review turns and the fuller editor-facing task messages/tool data retain branch-specific warrants. The metadata-only review is not assigned the raw tool/message sources it never receives. Original opaque admission sources remain unresolved, and serialization alone adds no event-stream classification: MEM-OBJ-trajectories, EPI-RTE-failure-shaping, MEM-OBJ-transcript, RT-RTE-failure-review and RT-RTE-candidate-admission. |
All positive bases remain wired; none claims observed operation or causal benefit. The synthetic specification-ignoring editor is preserved as a constraint on semantic attribution, not mistaken for absence of the interface or retained-reference path. Its consequence agrees with the workflow handoff account. Separate artifact persistence does not inherit trainer admission or establish automatic agent consumption, consistent with MEM-ABS-skill-injection.
Some units aggregate named parts or operations, but their findings identify the relevant consumers, effects and unresolved branches. I found no aggregation that upgrades an opaque alternative or changes an emitted system value. The partial assessments retain their missing facts and prevented conclusions. These faithfully scoped uncertainties do not require additional publication limits.
