Halo synthesis verification

Verification

I checked every substantive statement in the handed bounded synthesis and every row of its Limitations against the supplied records, annotations and reconciliation. I also checked carriage of the report-verification limit and the corrected profile-verification judgment. Reconciliation establishes no supersessions or unresolved cross-report conflicts. No synthesis refusal was supplied, and the synthesis answers file is empty. Source-read log: none. This judgment uses accepted member evidence, not new source inspection or target execution.

The public account explains the operational progression without requiring the supporting members' context. Its improvement-plane characterization, included desktop responsibilities and external coding/deployment exclusions match the boundary. It preserves the distinction between SRC-1 implementation, declared procedure and attributed results, and does not turn source wiring into observed operation.

The invocation and decision map is supported by RT-RTE-trace-diagnosis, RT-RTE-subagent-call and the workflow account. The text correctly separates host scheduling from model-directed investigation, optional delegation from enforced division of labor, child answer return from host event visibility, and per-depth/per-invocation controls from global spending guarantees. Retry and finalization qualifications remain beside those controls. Optional repository and sandbox routes retain their configuration and enforcement boundaries; the desktop's lack of repository access is not generalized to all callers.

The evidence and context account preserves consequential transformations. MEM-OBJ-traces-jsonl, MEM-OBJ-trace-index and EPI-RTE-index-reuse support export reuse and stat/schema cache admission, not authenticated or content-identical evidence. MEM-RTE-trace-read, RT-RTE-trace-synthesis and EPI-RTE-count-traces support bounded retrieval, reduced synthesis inputs and conditional cardinality. The synthesis does not imply exhaustive relevance, complete payload delivery or real-world task-success warrant.

Answer finalization, desktop completion, retention and later reliance remain separate. EPI-RTE-answer-finalization and RT-RTE-desktop-analysis support operational completion without factual acceptance. The positive retained-context contribution is supported by MEM-OBJ-halo-run-turns and MEM-BAP-followup-history: automatic trace-derived answer retention has a wired later model consumer. Calling this trace learning is explicitly confined to its write-route meaning. The text neither upgrades conversational evidence to standing instructions nor infers improved future capacity, parameter training or actual changed decisions. The profile correction is therefore faithfully preserved.

Checkpoint claims retain the successful-root/flag trigger, terminal timing, unchecked summaries, surviving local originals and absent desktop consumption established in RT-RTE-checkpoint-emission, MEM-OBJ-agent-context and MEM-RTE-context-reload. Host continuation is described as afforded, not as an exercised durable replay cycle.

Report preparation and external initiation match WF-RTE-report-materialization, MEM-OBJ-report and RT-RTE-report-handoff. User confirmation does not become approval of each finding or proof of recipient reading, editing or deployment. The prescribed verification/edit/remeasurement procedure remains distinct from the task-output evaluator in EPI-RTE-task-evaluation and attributed gains in EPI-CLM-benchmark-improvement. No component-level causal attribution is asserted.

The independent property table faithfully carries the handoff record's separately claimed theory-builder conditions and unestablished learning, reflection, autonomy and exercised Halo self-improvement. The assessment names Halo, subsequent diagnosis sessions and better trace-grounded diagnosis, rather than attributing external harness gains to Halo's own organizational improvement. RT-RTE-engine-install is correctly separated from evidence-responsive self-change. Scenario-relative conclusions and proposed resolving evidence follow these bounded findings without product ranking or transfer advice.

The limitations preserve provenance, selection, summary fidelity, cleanup, external execution, provider state and task-evaluator uncertainties. The sole report-verification limit—the omitted standalone trace-conformance checker—is explicitly carried with its incomplete-inventory consequence. Profile verification declares no additional limit. No new record fault or material unsupported claim was found. The inherited omission is admissible because the public account withholds exhaustive evaluator coverage and does not mistake input conformance for event authentication or diagnosis acceptance.

Limits

  • The evaluator inventory remains incomplete for the standalone demo trace-conformance checker, as carried in synthesis Limitations. Its input-envelope/exporter checks are distinct from EPI-RTE-task-evaluation; they do not authenticate the events represented by EPI-OBJ-span-record or validate answers submitted through EPI-RTE-answer-finalization. The diagnosis, retained-context and partial-loop conclusions remain supported. Readers should withhold exhaustive shipped-evaluator and input-validation route comparisons, observed checker-operation claims and any inferred automatic diagnosis-acceptance gate.
