Reconciliation

Record identity and containment

Amendment: EPI-RTE-learning-condense is superseded by MEM-RTE-learning-condense. Both declare the same learnings <file> transformation in SRC-1, .claude/scripts/workstream-rewrite.py: terminal-entry selection, protection for a later addendum, selected-sentence retention, loss/count/fingerprint checks and optional replacement under --write. Both place it within RT-RTE-rewrite-state, report implementation as wired and operation as uninspected, and deny a semantic-preservation oracle. Their quoted selection/addendum predicates support identity, not two successive transformations. The epistemic record's concrete deduction about losing “Only on Linux” remains its supporting analysis of this same route, not observed execution or a new transformation. The epistemic ledger's transformation and checking rows concern this single route; supersession changes no finding or status.

The broader RT-RTE-rewrite-state remains a valid container. Neither the Learning subroute nor MEM-RTE-state-rotate replaces it. Rotation selects live structure and removes spent blocks using different checks; it is not identical to Learning condensation. The forwarding compatibility entry is already accounted for as another entry to the existing algorithm in the memory annotation, not a separate record requiring supersession.

The pointer container RT-OBJ-active remains valid alongside MEM-OBJ-active-selector and MEM-OBJ-active-prose. The first part has fixed parser consumers; the second supplies interpreted resume context. Neither part is the whole pointer. Likewise RT-OBJ-workstream remains valid alongside its declared material parts; none of their findings requires superseding that container.

The workstream parts overlap without being identical. MEM-OBJ-workstream-index includes IDs, headings, checkboxes, frontmatter and markers; EPI-OBJ-workstream-markers isolates dated disposition markers. The latter does not replace the broader index. MEM-OBJ-workstream-content includes Purpose, task descriptions, completion evidence, reasoning, insights and questions; EPI-OBJ-workstream-claims isolates findings and completion/disposition assertions, while EPI-OBJ-workstream-guidance isolates backlog, critical-path guidance and criteria. Shared bytes can carry normative instructions and truth-apt premises, but these records select different content and checking roles. Identity supersessions between them are therefore ruled out; the two reports do not assert conflicting classifications of an identical operative part.

EPI-OBJ-record-learnings and EPI-RTE-marker-measure are respectively derived JSON fields and their production route. They are not the retained marker/index objects, the rewrite route, or RT-RTE-session-reload, which consumes measurements while delivering pointer text and signals. Recomputing a classification and delivering it are separate operations, not duplicate declarations.

The remaining memory objects are distinct side files or historical/access products: MEM-OBJ-notes, MEM-OBJ-project, MEM-OBJ-handoffs, MEM-OBJ-archive and MEM-OBJ-context. They are not replacements for the pointer or live workstream. In particular, an archive locator is not the full historical text, and telemetry is not retained work content. Their relationship to the lifecycle and context account does not establish duplicate identity.

Connected routes and authority

EPI-RTE-capture-synthesis, EPI-RTE-still-true and EPI-RTE-disposition-check are distinct stages within RT-RTE-state-lifecycle: proposing retained synthesis, comparing current claims with artifacts, and verifying/routing dispositions. Their shared foreground-model owner does not make them identical. The runtime's lifecycle remains a valid encompassing protocol. Epistemic ledger rows separating checking from disposition describe functions of these routes rather than additional declarations.

MEM-BAP-artifact-adoption connects extraction to consumers of a governed edit. RT-BAP-resume-state instead connects retained state to later planning, and RT-BAP-skill-guidance connects installed instructions to foreground/delegated models. These paths can compose when an insight changes governing skill source and that source is later installed and consumed. They are not identical: arbitrary adopted product changes need not enter the installed-skill channel. No supersession is warranted.

EPI-RTE-status-statement is on-demand cross-workstream chat production and citation checking. It is not the automatic hook delivery route or a durable lifecycle write. Its PROJECT-selected context connects to MEM-OBJ-project, but a selector file and the route using it have different identities. Status's locally unverified premises do not contradict the work/review protocols' requests to inspect actual artifacts; the consumers and intended uses differ.

The workflow account and its annotations use existing RT-RTE-agent-packet, RT-RTE-state-lifecycle and RT-RTE-acceptance-driver records without declaring duplicates. It connects the shipped three-session scenario, packet sequencing, bounded worker repair, foreground acceptance, conditional closure approval and local archival delivery. It does not turn the driver's artifact assertions into evidence that every requested delegation occurred.

Integration-issue dispositions and convergence

Marker reopening. MEM-CLM-marker-reopening concerns a different claim from RT-CLM-rewrite-preservation. The former compares EXTENDED interpretation across condensation, scoring and rotation; the latter compares heading/checkbox preservation across rewrite paths. The memory record's shared-disposition predicate and quoted damage-test expectation establish its reported consumer distinction. Learning condensation protects a later addendum, while scoring and rotation can still select an earlier terminal entry. The epistemic marker measurement and condensation records are compatible with that account. This is a source doctrine/consumer mismatch retained by memory, not a disagreement between analyst findings. Whether source prose or rotation should change remains outside reconciliation.

Preservation and recovery. The runtime preservation claim already limits its guarantee to the checked relation on the standard path. Memory's rotation and archive records add that a tag-existence check does not establish equality to the current pre-rewrite bytes. The epistemic condensation deduction adds a permitted qualification loss despite passing selected-string and structural checks. These findings converge without equating structural preservation, semantic preservation and historical recovery. Caller commit/tag discipline remains necessary for the claimed historical fallback. No analyst asserts unconditional recovery that another analyst denies.

Host events and opaque memory. The memory integration issue and runtime context account preserve the same unresolved clear/SessionStart contract: capture says clear fires no hook, while the hook comment includes it among intended events. This limits a guarantee of post-clear injection, not the file-retention or registered reload capability. The boundary excludes external host internals; the reports consistently leave native memory, compaction contents, delegate receipt of hook output and provider state uninspected. These are bounded uncertainties, not cross-report conflicts or evidence of absent behavior.

Grounding and validation claims. EPI-CLM-grounded-claims and EPI-CLM-gate-validation are distinct from each other and from the rewrite claim: grounding/safety rationale, attributed prior gate-validation outcome, and rewrite preservation have different subjects. The runtime's driver record and workflow annotations agree that pre-supplied approvals, permission bypass, a substitute for native goal operation and narrow artifact checks limit the fixture's license. Memory distinguishes saved raw output, derived fixture Learnings and installed-copy edits; epistemic distinguishes reported operation from inspected run evidence. These are compatible accounts, not competing verdicts about an observed successful run.

Adoption and benefit. The memory artifact-adoption path and epistemic extraction route support requested governed-file changes, while the runtime skill path explains later instruction consumption. All retain the missing live link: no supplied consumer episode shows that such an update reached subsequent behavior or improved capacity. The workflow's maintainer handoff of logs affords investigation but establishes neither investigation nor upstream kit admission. The epistemic ledger's “doctrine only” semantic evaluations and the runtime's claimed/afforded model-facing routes use different status vocabularies and assess different layers; neither upgrades the other to observed compliance.

No cross-report disagreement requiring an Unresolved conflict: paragraph was found in these pinned members. No correction-answer or declined-objection input was supplied. The unresolved source-contract questions and absent execution/causal evidence above remain limits on the connected account, not settled defects or negative findings about architectural capacity. Reconciliation used only the supplied members; no additional source reads were needed.
