Beever Atlas report verification

Verification

The current reports support a bounded implementation account. The earlier supersession blocker is repaired; no material blocker remains. I read the boundary, all five reports, their types, the shared record contract, the structural check, correction answers and previous verification. The structural check reports none. Only the epistemic answer file contains a correction argument. I judged that argument against source rather than treating it or the earlier verdict as evidence of correctness. SRC-1's checkout HEAD matches the reviewed boundary and its worktree is clean. All additional inspection below is implementation or attributed doctrine at that pin. No target code, tests, examples, services or model calls were executed.

Runtime, workflow and evidence strength

The runtime account preserves Atlas's shipped producer, maintainer and consumer responsibilities within the boundary. Searches of SRC-1's tracked top-level tree, src/beever_atlas/server/app.py, src/beever_atlas/services/sync_runner.py, src/beever_atlas/api/sources.py, web/src/hooks/useAskSession.ts and bot/src/index.ts support the server composition, inline/deferred extraction distinction and separate shipped HTTP callers. Push admission queues extraction; neither its response nor sync completion proves knowledge production or wiki refresh. External clients and dependency internals are not silently attributed to Atlas.

I traced RT-RTE-dashboard-ask, RT-RTE-mcp-ask, RT-OBJ-session-state and RT-BAP-qa-guidance through SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/api/ask.py, src/beever_atlas/api/mcp_server/_ask_runner.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/runner.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/query/qa_agent.py and src/beever_atlas/agents/tools/orchestration_tools.py. HTTP creates a fresh ADK session and reloads selected durable content; MCP reuses principal-namespaced process-memory sessions. HTTP binds the channel set; the MCP wrapper binds only principal. Together with the explicit single-tenant fallbacks in src/beever_atlas/infra/channel_access.py, this supports RT-CLM-channel-isolation's bounded rather than universal guarantee. Prompt budgets and grounding instructions are requests, not inspected counters or verified compliance. Optional skill loading does not remove sibling QA tools or establish worker isolation.

RT-RTE-outbound-tools and RT-CLM-untrusted-tools withstand independent inspection of SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/agents/mcp_registry.py and src/beever_atlas/agents/query/qa_agent.py. Discovery uses an HTTP catalog; wrappers POST model-supplied arguments with configured credentials. Summarize/deep construction includes registry tools directly. A src/ symbol search finds the untrusted filter's definition and a comment, not an invocation. The reports correctly refuse to infer capability removal from that comment or a textual safety note.

The runtime model components, MEM-CMP-topic-summarizer, MEM-CMP-contradiction-detector and RT-RTE-model-assignment distinguish provider parameters, numerical output vectors and mutable application routing. Constructor and assignment searches in SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/agents/ingestion/fact_extractor.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/ingestion/entity_extractor.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/ingestion/contradiction_detector.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/consolidation/summarizer.py and src/beever_atlas/api/assignments.py support those distinctions. Compatibility veto, force override and non-fatal cache/provider refresh are configuration authority, not training or demonstrated improvement. Exact deployed model identity and provider-internal mutation remain unresolved.

For RT-RTE-message-ingestion, WF-RTE-fact-admission and the workflow account, I checked SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/agents/ingestion/pipeline.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/callbacks/quality_gates.py, src/beever_atlas/services/batch_processor.py and src/beever_atlas/services/extraction_worker.py. Explicit joins, code-owned handoffs, selected checkpoint reload into fresh retry sessions, narration-before-threshold ordering, JSON salvage and empty fallback are supported. Worker success marks rows done before notifying; partial results can finalize successful and failed sub-batches separately. These terminals do not verify truth or subscriber delivery. SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/agents/ingestion/persister.py independently supports RT-CLM-write-completion: graph errors are recorded, but final intent completion tests vector failure only. A src/ search for WriteReconciler does not establish live scheduling. Best-effort recovery must not become atomicity or observed convergence.

Memory and epistemic routes

I reviewed all memory object declarations and annotations for the distinctions between raw input, derived prose, access metadata, vectors, graph records, summaries, page/render representations and QA history. Domain/persister/tool searches in SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/models/domain.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/ingestion/persister.py, src/beever_atlas/agents/tools/memory_tools.py and src/beever_atlas/agents/tools/wiki_tools.py support the source-native classifications and inferred-provenance caveat. The HTTP loader reads message content after ownership/channel checks; src/beever_atlas/stores/chat_history_store.py slices ten messages, not ten turns. Earlier generated answers can return through QA search; an optional refusal filter is not truth validation. These findings support MEM-OBJ-chat-history without transferring HTTP's budget to MCP.

SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/services/consolidation.py supports MEM-RTE-summary-retention's member cap, active-fact quality ranking, top-20 context and persisted summaries. Later overview/wiki consumers establish read-back, not complete rationale preservation. Searches of src/beever_atlas/api/imports.py support MEM-CLM-import-admission's current commit/manual-sync distinction despite older background-ingestion wording. The ordered fanout, retained lock on errors and differing reset subset in src/beever_atlas/services/channel_deletion.py support MEM-RTE-channel-withdrawal, not universal erasure or non-resurrection.

I checked the consequential writer/consumer distinctions in RT-RTE-wiki-maintenance, RT-RTE-page-curation, MEM-RTE-wiki-refresh, MEM-OBJ-wiki-page, EPI-RTE-compiler-retry and EPI-RTE-builder-retention. SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/services/wiki_maintainer.py checks manual/frozen eligibility before completion and can return markdown after repeated kind-schema failure. src/beever_atlas/api/wiki.py temporarily changes manual eligibility for explicit flush and permits rebuild after archive failure. src/beever_atlas/wiki/builder.py has best-effort frozen lookup and separate rendered-cache/minimal-seed writes. src/beever_atlas/wiki/cache.py overlays legacy render keys, while src/beever_atlas/api/mcp_server/_tools_retrieval.py has direct slug/page-store reads. Thus saving newer sections or metadata does not establish identical fresh prose at all consumers. The reports preserve that uncertainty. The twice-failed delimited validator branch in src/beever_atlas/wiki/compiler.py can return output; it is not a universal compiler-admission rule.

The epistemic ledger separates content change, checking, disposition, retention and consumption. SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/agents/ingestion/narration_filter.py supports the concrete reported-speech counterexample by inspection: stripping the qualifier can assert what was merely reported. General semantic preservation remains indeterminate. src/beever_atlas/services/entity_dedup.py supports name/similarity merging, primary-field preference and a false-returning ambiguous-pair hook, not an actual LLM judgment. The gate callbacks compare model-emitted scores and admit representations; they do not independently corroborate propositions.

The corrected EPI-RTE-fact-supersession now agrees with MEM-RTE-fact-supersession and MEM-BAP-fact-lifecycle. I independently read SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/services/contradiction_detector.py, the semantic/BM25/native-hybrid methods in src/beever_atlas/stores/weaviate_store.py, and the ordinary fact-tool path in src/beever_atlas/agents/tools/memory_tools.py. Candidate selection uses the first entity tag and up to ten live candidates; model confidence controls supersession or a warning flag, with swallowed per-fact failures. Guarded semantic/native-hybrid readers exclude invalidated facts. Ordinary embedding/hybrid exceptions can instead enter BM25, which lacks that filter; candidate formatting and MMR do not restore it. The corrected authority, read-back, activation, limits, coverage and bounded conclusion all retain this exception; the ledger delegates to the corrected record. Supported mutation and consolidation exclusion remain intact. The previous blocker therefore no longer applies.

MEM-CLM-evaluation-authority, EPI-RTE-wiki-lint, EPI-RTE-drift-comparison, EPI-RTE-citation-annotation and EPI-RTE-qa-grading preserve evaluator domains and actual force. SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/services/wiki_lint.py returns structural diagnostics without a model call; src/beever_atlas/services/wiki_drift_comparator.py produces text-distance reports, with scheduling after save in src/beever_atlas/services/wiki_maintainer.py. src/beever_atlas/agents/tools/_citation_decorator.py conditionally supplies source IDs/excerpts, not assertion entailment. scripts/qa_test_harness.py implements soft citation floors, any-member tool/kind checks and refusal-aware canaries. A src/ feedback search establishes writes, not a rating-to-update consumer. Source claims in README.md remain attributed doctrine: neither diagnostic retention nor PASS supports general truth, comparative benefit or exercised self-improvement.

I assessed every record's identity, source-anchor relevance, evidence/status scope, annotations and declared containment. Ingestion contains the narration, score, admission and entity-dedup parts; HTTP QA contains citation annotation. Cross-stage objects can coexist with retained parts, and valid containers need not be superseded. No evidenced-absence record is declared. Search misses and uninspected alternatives are not promoted into absence. The reconciliation amendment correctly supersedes the duplicate contradiction-model component using the same constructor/provider referent without strengthening status. Other overlapping objects/routes have distinct scopes or valid container/part relationships. The integration dispositions preserve consumer-specific wiki uncertainty, writer-specific frozen controls, HTTP/MCP differences and diagnostic-versus-adoption distinctions. Removal of the old withdrawal conflict is supported by the corrected report; no unresolved cross-report conflict or missing required part remains established.

Omission questions were selected from the frozen tree and producer/consumer dependencies: whether alternate normal reads bypass withdrawal, another wiki writer bypasses incremental curation, outbound construction enforces its advertised filter, and modular generation has stronger admission than the selected soft-failure branch. The first three have the supported dispositions above. Direct inspection of SRC-1: src/beever_atlas/wiki/modules/narrative_validator.py and src/beever_atlas/wiki/modules/orchestrator.py confirms a local citation-coverage rejection gate and use of cleaned narrative in module selection, retained as the limit below. No source-entailment test follows from citation presence. Further optional expansion stopped because these challenges have dispositions and the remaining compiler, granular-reader, migration and adapter inventories are explicitly partial. Their existence does not defeat the bounded positive findings, and the reports make no system-complete negative acceptance/adaptation claim. No inspected alternative leaves a material contradiction undisposed.

Limits

  • The compiler/admission inventory remains partial in EPI-RTE-compiler-retry and MEM-RTE-wiki-refresh. SRC-1 implementation in src/beever_atlas/wiki/modules/narrative_validator.py rejects narrative sections when raw citation coverage falls below its tier-selected threshold; src/beever_atlas/wiki/modules/orchestrator.py feeds the cleaned result into module selection. This is an enforcing representation gate beyond merely retrying or retaining twice-failed delimited prose, but it does not establish that cited facts entail the prose. The reports reserve module coverage, so their selected-branch findings remain valid. Withhold complete comparisons of admission/rejection across wiki-generation variants; do not generalize the soft-failure branch to every compiler path. The gate's load-bearing condition is:

    if total_input_paragraphs > 0 and raw_coverage < threshold: --- src/beever_atlas/wiki/modules/narrative_validator.py
