Reconciliation

Boundary and duplicate identities

All four reports share the frozen source in boundary. Shell behavior is inspected implementation; model-operated procedures are doctrine/design. None establishes observed host execution, populated consumer histories or causal benefit. The epistemic ledger's architectural statuses do not replace runtime's separately labelled design, implementation and operation statuses.

The following supersessions identify identical object referents, not stronger findings. Both declarations remain. They affect citations throughout the epistemic inventory, ledger and conclusions without replacing epistemic assessments or memory-specific fields.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-comments is superseded by MEM-OBJ-comments. Both identify consumer COMMENTS.md and archive pages containing user speech with session attribution on the project filesystem. Identity evidence: SRC-1, templates/COMMENTS.md and .claude/commands/end.md, retained in the cited records. Attribution is not endorsement of user assertions; memory additionally retains removal-versus-archival uncertainty.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-session-log is superseded by MEM-OBJ-session-log. Both identify consumer SESSION_LOG.md and historical archive pages. Identity evidence: SRC-1, templates/SESSION_LOG.md and .claude/commands/save.md. Affected findings distinguish derived historical summaries from transcripts and current handoff state; persistence adds no factual acceptance.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-resume-state is superseded by MEM-OBJ-resume-state. Both identify consumer RESUME_STATE.md, overwritten by /save, cleared by /end and read first by /start. Identity evidence: SRC-1, templates/RESUME_STATE.md and .claude/commands/start.md. The clean marker selects handoff treatment, not proof of complete preservation.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-task-registry is superseded by MEM-OBJ-task-registry. Both identify consumer TASK_REGISTRY.md and pages carrying provenance and status. Identity evidence: SRC-1, templates/TASK_REGISTRY.md and .claude/commands/save.md. Task completion remains distinct from feature QA; memory's backlog and deferred-work visibility limits remain.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-decisions is superseded by MEM-OBJ-decisions. Both identify consumer DECISIONS.md, its index and archived bodies with choice, rationale, source and category. Identity evidence: SRC-1, templates/DECISIONS.md and .claude/commands/end.md. Continued constraint authority differs from factual warrant; index delivery differs from delivery of full rationale.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-learned-behaviour is superseded by MEM-OBJ-learned-behaviour. Both identify consumer LEARNED_BEHAVIOUR.md, pages/index and helper references with Context/Gotcha/Workaround/Why fields. Identity evidence: SRC-1, templates/LEARNED_BEHAVIOUR.md, .claude/commands/lessons.md and .claude/commands/end.md. Ordinary model admission and additional harvest approval remain distinct; resolution and archival establish no new truth.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-feature-list is superseded by MEM-OBJ-feature-list. Both identify consumer FEATURE_LIST.json and its human-verification QA semantics. Identity evidence: SRC-1, templates/FEATURE_LIST.json and .claude/commands/save.md. The affected check and admission routes remain distinct from each other and from persistence.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-sidecar-index is superseded by MEM-OBJ-sidecar-index. Both identify generated <source_filename>.index.md descriptions, addresses and dates. Identity evidence: SRC-1, .claude/commands/itemise.md and templates/CLAUDE.md. Pairing with markers does not make the epistemic description record a combined marker declaration. Description uncertainty, blank long-section descriptions and renumbering risks remain; MEM-OBJ-section-markers is a distinct source-address object.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-helper-library is superseded by MEM-OBJ-helpers. Both identify exported functions installed by /lessons in the consumer helper library, optionally referenced by LB Enforced by. Identity evidence: SRC-1, .claude/commands/lessons.md. Executable form, unavailable populated implementations and uninspected call sites remain; code is not automatically a truth-apt proposition or demonstrated improvement.

Amendment: EPI-OBJ-audit-report is superseded by MEM-OBJ-audits. Both identify audits/YYYY-MM-DD_HHMMSS.md, saved as the displayed diagnosis before chosen repairs. Identity evidence: SRC-1, .claude/commands/audit.md and templates/CLAUDE.md. Report persistence supplies neither independent warrant nor mandatory post-repair disposition updates.

No further duplicate identity is established. RT-OBJ-claude governs mutable ledgers but is not those ledgers. RT-OBJ-settings is event configuration, not retained content or the RT-CMP-ccg-commands instruction component. Producer routes are not their output objects. Source markers and sidecar descriptions have different consumers and checks and are not duplicates.

EPI-RTE-feature-check and EPI-RTE-feature-admission are distinct parts of RT-RTE-save-session: evaluation supplies the judgment; admission changes QA status. EPI-RTE-lesson-inference is candidate generation within RT-RTE-harvest-lessons. EPI-RTE-itemise-filter is normalized comparison within RT-RTE-itemise-code. These are valid containers alongside their declared parts, not combined records requiring supersession. Workflow declares no competing record and annotates the itemisation container.

The five epistemic claims concern inference, helper safety, archive truth, source preservation and context cost. None identifies the same assertion as RT-CLM-progress-protection, which concerns all-progress protection before compaction. A shared route does not establish claim identity.

Independent convergence and integration dispositions

Checkpoint and admission. RT-RTE-save-session, memory's write side and the epistemic authority ledger connect conversation/work review to distinct retained objects and later /start reads. Ordinary logging is model-admitted; invoking /save does not certify each assertion. Positive QA requires human verification; lesson harvesting adds proposal approval. Epistemic separation of permission from truth acceptance is compatible with memory's admission account.

Lessons and theory properties. Memory's integration issue 2, EPI-RTE-lesson-inference and RT-RTE-harvest-lessons describe interpreted criticism rather than automatic falsification. SRC-1, .claude/commands/lessons.md, supplies cosmetic exclusions and instrument-fault classification in the cited records. These qualify EPI-CLM-diff-record, not an opposing runtime finding. Localized proposals, claimed consumption/criticism/iteration, human-controlled admission, learning, reflection and self-improvement remain independently qualified. Helper export and two-way tests establish neither future calls nor universal safety.

Backup and deployment. RT-RTE-compact-backup, its memory annotation and the epistemic ledger agree on copying five existing files, omitted state, unchecked copy outcomes and no shipped restoration consumer. They qualify the broad protection claim without negating source-level copy behavior. Memory integration issue 6 connects existing-settings and root-selection uncertainty to RT-RTE-install-package and RT-RTE-start-session. Trusted pointers, custom files, helper callers and host compaction remain local unknowns, not absent behavior.

Itemisation and delivery. The workflow account traces foreground planning, delegated insertions, foreground checks/retries and per-file filesystem/report delivery on RT-RTE-itemise-code. EPI-RTE-itemise-filter contributes a source-level multiline-string false-negative deduction, not observed corruption. Runtime and workflow already limit normalized comparison to less than byte or semantic proof. Memory integration issue 5 adds description reuse after renumbering. All retain unpaired sidecar rollback. Granularity, identifier parity, normalized equality and description accuracy are different domains, not competing statuses.

Prior threshold disagreement no longer holds. The previous reconciliation contrasted an inclusive runtime threshold with workflow's unresolved exactly-500-line branch. The current RT-RTE-itemise-code instead explicitly distinguishes over-500 delegation, under-500 direct editing and the conflicting “500+” heading. Its finding now agrees with the workflow annotation: exactly 500 lines has no unambiguous branch. SRC-1, .claude/commands/itemise.md, supplies the three retained passages in runtime. This resolves the cross-report discrepancy without choosing a source-policy branch; a precise threshold remains unestablished.

Source-policy uncertainties are not analyst disagreements. Memory integration issues 3, 4 and 7 retain startup plan/audit loading, decision/comment rotation, resume-warning consistency and sensitive-content conflicts. RT-RTE-start-session and RT-RTE-audit-project retain corresponding startup, no-Git and warning limits. MEM-OBJ-plans, MEM-OBJ-comments, MEM-OBJ-decisions, MEM-OBJ-audits and the annotation on RT-OBJ-claude add retention, disposition and security detail. The cited evidence in SRC-1, templates/CLAUDE.md, templates/DECISIONS.md, templates/COMMENTS.md, .claude/commands/start.md, .claude/commands/save.md, .claude/commands/end.md and .claude/commands/audit.md, prevents deterministic loading, retention and safe-secret-handling guarantees. No report chooses an opposing precedence rule. Epistemic checks likewise grant no general truth authority to audit diagnoses.

No correction answers or declined-objection inputs were supplied. Memory's no-duplicate finding compares its objects with supplied runtime records; epistemic's no-counterpart finding likewise concerns its supplied runtime records, not the peer memory declarations. The ten identities above therefore do not contradict those comparisons.

No remaining cross-report disagreement or required undeclared part is identified in these pinned members. Uncertainty about source-policy precedence, deployment or activation remains beside the affected findings rather than being marked as disagreement. No source read was needed: identity and connection evidence comes from the supplied records and their retained passages.
