Tracecraft report verification

Verification
The reports support a bounded implementation account of bucket-backed coordination and transcript retention, not an enclosing model runtime or demonstrated agent learning. I read all supplied members, types, reconciliation, empty correction-answer files and the structural check. The structural check reports no findings. I independently inspected the frozen source rather than accepting analyst checks as verification. HEAD matches the reviewed revision and the checkout is clean. Source evidence below is SRC-1 implementation or explicitly identified doctrine/design; no target code, tests, examples or services were executed.
Record and behavior checks
I checked all 37 analyst declarations: the runtime's components, objects, eight routes, two claims and two authority paths; memory's ten operative objects, evaluator route and history claim; epistemic's two objects, four routes and two claims; and workflow's handoff object. I compared their source anchors, operative referents, evidence layers, conclusion statuses and annotations with their producers and consumers. The retained passages support the load-bearing findings. Wired implementation, doctrine-only checking requests and uninspected operation remain distinct. There are no declared evidenced absences to validate as system-wide negatives.
- Configuration and backend authority: direct reads of SRC-1
sdk/tracecraft/config.py,sdk/tracecraft/store.py,sdk/tracecraft/cli/init_cmd.py,sdk/tracecraft/s3.pyandsdk/tracecraft/hf.pysupport RT-CMP-get-store, RT-OBJ-config, RT-RTE-init-config and MEM-OBJ-agent-registration. Configuration precedes backend admission, agent attribution can be overridden, project prefixes are not authorization, and HF uses check-then-write rather than service-atomic claim admission. The reports correctly withhold universal atomicity, deployed privacy and authenticated-agent conclusions. - Task progression and delivery: SRC-1
sdk/tracecraft/cli/steps.py,sdk/tracecraft/protocol.py,sdk/tracecraft/cli/status.pyandsdk/tracecraft/cli/agents.pyestablish RT-RTE-step-control, RT-OBJ-step-state, RT-BAP-step-polling and the separate MEM-OBJ-handoff. Status wins over claim fallback; completion writes status before handoff; ownership is bypassable; review state has no independent-reviewer gate. EPI-RTE-git-files imports tracked diff paths, with an ambiguous empty fallback, rather than certifying task correctness. The workflow delivery account does not confuse a receipt or waiter return with recipient uptake. - Shared content and reader position: SRC-1
sdk/tracecraft/cli/memory.py,sdk/tracecraft/cli/messages.pyandsdk/tracecraft/protocol.pysupport RT-RTE-memory-write, RT-RTE-mail-exchange and their separately declared memory parts. History precedes live replacement; default get drops provenance; history limits select versions, not tokens. Cursor advancement follows display but uses listed keys, a trailing grace window and bounded seen set. The reports correctly reject unconditional delivery and immutable-history guarantees. Direct backend mutation supplies the counterpath for MEM-CLM-history-immutability. SRC-1sdk/tracecraft/cli/artifacts.pysupports RT-RTE-artifact-share and MEM-OBJ-artifact-file as opaque byte transfer without semantic admission or automatic model delivery. - Transcript transformations and recovery: I read SRC-1
sdk/tracecraft/cli/session.py,sdk/tracecraft/redact.pyand every module undersdk/tracecraft/harness/. They support RT-CMP-harness-registry, RT-RTE-session-mirror, RT-RTE-session-compact and memory's payload, metadata and local-cursor separation. I traced one-shot, follow, follow-all, file tails, Hermes row serialization, OpenClaw checkpoint discovery, show, stop and compact. Cursor identity is local-session-ID scoped; show reads actual parts rather than a manifest; compaction loses per-flush metadata and interrupted deletion can duplicate displayed bytes. RT-CLM-mirror-idempotence, RT-CLM-secret-redaction and EPI-RTE-regex-scrub preserve the correct distinctions between normal-path suppression, pattern replacement, semantic uncertainty and privacy guarantees. - Checking and change admission: direct reads of SRC-1
examples/claude-code/CLAUDE.mdandexamples/hermes-agent/SKILL.mdsupport RT-BAP-agent-prompt and EPI-RTE-read-verification as requested behavior, not observed compliance. SRC-1benchmarks/contention_bench.pytrial/sweep code,benchmarks/messaging_bench.pypreflight/trial/cleanup code, and the cited memory and compact test bodies support MEM-RTE-evaluator-readback and EPI-RTE-bucket-evaluation. Fixed equality/arithmetic checks license storage-domain results conditional on execution, not message truth or coding quality. SRC-1.github/workflows/ci.yml,.github/workflows/release.ymlandsdk/pyproject.tomlsupport RT-RTE-package-release: separate CI and release checks, without an explicit test-success prerequisite in the release job. No inspected result consumer establishes automatic policy adoption or exercised self-improvement.
Relations, reconciliation and omission search
I checked every explicit Part of: relation against the source progression. Memory objects are distinct retained outputs or state parts of their named runtime routes. Epistemic's Git and scrub subroutes and associated claim belong to the indicated parent routes; containment does not inherit status or semantic warrant. Workflow's handoff prose identifies the same producer/output relationship even though it does not use the explicit Part of: field. This local relation-format omission does not change the referent, which reconciliation resolves explicitly, or prevent the bounded findings.
All four reconciliation amendments have same-referent support: epistemic and workflow handoffs map to memory's handoff; epistemic transcript parts map to memory's parts; the two history claims quote the same assertion. None changes a value or suppresses a contrary finding. The evaluator records overlap but have different endpoint coverage, so retaining both is justified. I checked all memory integration issues against the reconciliation dispositions. No unresolved cross-report contradiction requires a blocker; the distinctions about handoff readers, cursor scope, provenance, liveness and evaluator coverage are compatible, not competing guarantees.
Omission questions came from the frozen tracked tree, CLI registrations, adapter registry and producer/consumer searches, not solely the submitted anchors. I investigated whether another shipped caller restores a host context or consumes handoff text, whether alternative backend/adapter paths change admission or provenance, and whether evaluators feed changes back into the product. SRC-1 sdk/tracecraft/cli/__init__.py, the complete production module tree, both shipped agent instructions, and searches across SRC-1 README.md, docs/ and benchmark drivers reveal no additional wired context-restoration or handoff-execution consumer. The architecture document does describe an unavailable command, retained below as a local doctrine-coverage limit. Packaging and SRC-1 plans/server-archive/README.md confirm that the archived server is not another shipped runtime.
The reports' central conclusions survive these searches. Further inspection of raw benchmark rows, generated reports or proposal internals is not reasonably likely to alter those scoped storage and consumer conclusions; it could support separate numerical, report-consumer or historical-design findings that the reports already withhold. I stopped optional expansion without treating those uninspected artifacts as absent behavior. Two local omissions remain below; neither justifies replacing the supported architecture with a broader guarantee or a system-complete negative.

Limits
- MEM-OBJ-handoff, RT-RTE-step-control and the workflow delivery account correctly withhold wired handoff-content delivery, but the inventory of declared consumer intent is incomplete. SRC-1
docs/s3-architecture.mdexplicitly illustrates atracecraft handoffcommand and GET, while SRC-1sdk/tracecraft/cli/__init__.pyregisters no such command. The documented example also uses the older step-key spelling. Readers should withhold any conclusion that no handoff-read procedure was ever declared, or that the documented command is usable. This does not establish an executable consumer or change the reports' delivery conclusion.
Agent A reads the handoff from whoever did S0.1
tracecraft handoff S0.1
→ GET {project}/steps/s0.1/handoff.json → {"summary": "...", "warnings": [...]}

- RT-RTE-session-mirror, MEM-OBJ-session-meta and RT-CLM-mirror-idempotence support retention and its recovery qualifications, but the source-claim inventory omits the cosmetic protection receipt's unconditional loss wording. SRC-1
sdk/tracecraft/cli/session.pyconstructs that receipt from metadata totals supplied by SRC-1sdk/tracecraft/protocol.py, without checking source completeness or measuring losses. The existing account remains valid; readers must not interpret this receipt as a measured zero-loss result or treat the listed preservation claims as an exhaustive inventory.
