Reconciliation
Boundary and evidence envelope
The four analyst reports share the identity and revision in boundary. Its Source register supplies implementation and doctrine/design, with no observed-run or causal-experiment evidence. Runtime traces application-owned scheduling, memory traces retained representations and later consumers, epistemic separates checks and retention from warrant, and workflow traces instructed host recovery followed by implemented file admission. Their different lenses do not turn wiring into successful deployment, model compliance, complete synchronization or improved capacity. No source reads were needed. No analyst correction answers or declined objections were supplied; the current records, rather than the previous reconciliation's findings, govern the connections below.
Duplicate identity and distinct overlaps
Amendment: EPI-OBJ-entity-relations is superseded by MEM-OBJ-entities. Both identify SQLite entities, entity_mentions, entity_relations and entity_relation_sources, including descriptions, typed links and source-associated contexts. Both cite SRC-1 kb/processors/entity_extractor.py and retain the source-association insert passage. Different analyst labels do not distinguish their referents. This identity connects the epistemic inventory and structural-check findings with the memory account of storage, counters and surviving relations. It replaces no field or status: structural admissibility remains distinct from factual warrant, and the memory record owns its counter/deletion findings.
Full identity is ruled out between EPI-OBJ-collected-metadata and MEM-OBJ-knowledge. Collected body, summary and tags overlap, but the memory object additionally covers user notes and addressing/access metadata. Both containers remain valid. Neither is identical to its producer RT-RTE-file-admission, to MEM-OBJ-chunks, or to the external RT-CMP-embedding-provider. Output, index representation and provider weights have different referents and consumers.
Full identity is also ruled out between EPI-OBJ-wiki-article and MEM-OBJ-wiki-articles. Article text and source-document IDs overlap; the memory container additionally includes category state and its compilation-selection role. Neither container replaces RT-RTE-wiki-compile, the producer/delivery route, or EPI-RTE-category-recompilation, its eligibility-selection part. Containment does not require supersession.
EPI-OBJ-chat-answer overlaps MEM-OBJ-rag-conversations in successfully saved assistant text, but they are not identical. The memory object also includes user turns, sessions and stored source dictionaries; the epistemic container includes returned answers whose saves may fail and confidence metadata. EPI-OBJ-answer-confidence now separately declares the numeric part of that valid container. It owns the retrieval-only provenance and advisory result/cache authority, distinct from answer prose and conversation-text reuse. It is not a duplicate of EPI-RTE-confidence-metadata, which produces the score, or of RT-RTE-chat-query, which encloses generation and return. The source formula and generation passages in SRC-1 kb/query/retrieval_pipeline.py support these distinctions. No split supersession of the valid answer container is warranted.
EPI-RTE-history-recommendation and MEM-RTE-history-selection share recommendation-profile computation and endpoint ranking, but full identity is ruled out. The memory route additionally covers event production and enhanced-query enrichment. Its larger account remains valid rather than being superseded by the narrower recommendation route. Neither is identical to RT-RTE-chat-query. MEM-OBJ-reading-history supplies retained input, while MEM-BAP-event-selection supplies the consequential channel, not another endpoint identity.
EPI-RTE-item-withdrawal and MEM-RTE-item-withdrawal share the HTTP exact-ID deletion branch, but are not identical: the epistemic container also covers title-based duplicate cleanup. EPI-RTE-title-cleanup now separately declares that cleanup part. Its SRC-1 tests/cleanup_duplicate_webpages.py listing/grouping/deletion passages establish exact-title selection within a limited listing and SQLite-only disposition. The HTTP branch instead attempts Chroma deletion and optionally file removal. Neither effect boundary transfers to the other. The valid epistemic container can remain alongside its cleanup part and the memory HTTP route; no combined-record supersession is justified. All are distinct from metadata editing in RT-RTE-item-update.
Other connected declarations are distinct rather than duplicate identities. MEM-RTE-note-admission receives direct text and indexes it, unlike the file driver's saved-file reload. MEM-OBJ-document-embeddings, MEM-OBJ-document-relations and MEM-OBJ-topic-clusters describe retained products, not RT-RTE-mining-run or its numerical operation part EPI-RTE-numeric-selection. EPI-RTE-structural-checks spans format checks/dispositions; EPI-RTE-extractive-summary is a deterministic transformation within extraction. Neither replaces its enclosing admission/mining/wiki routes.
MEM-BAP-retained-context concerns accumulated content, unlike static task guidance in RT-BAP-template-guidance or symbolic constructor controls in RT-BAP-config-selection. EPI-CLM-wiki-synthesis, EPI-CLM-staleness-tracking and RT-CLM-context-answer concern different product claims. Workflow declares no competing records: its annotations extend the host-fallback and file-admission routes.
Unresolved conflict
Unresolved conflict: RT-RTE-chat-query and MEM-CLM-budget-scope disagree about the extent of enhanced-route budget enforcement. Runtime describes budgeted context construction and truncation/omission without stating the flat-builder exception. Memory explicitly identifies a correction: its SRC-1 kb/query/retrieval_pipeline.py passage selects SimpleContextBuilder for flat format, while its SRC-1 kb/query/context_builder.py loop concatenates all chunks. Normal hierarchical truncation is not disputed. A shared conclusion that every allowed enhanced-context builder enforces the supplied budget is prevented until the runtime account states its alternative-path scope. The reconciler does not narrow that record or choose a status on its behalf.
Integration dispositions and convergence
The earlier missing-confidence-part issue no longer applies: EPI-OBJ-answer-confidence provides the separately anchored operative part, and the epistemic inventory, ledger and bounded conclusion now cite it. The answer container is retained without transferring score authority to answer truth. The earlier missing-cleanup-part issue likewise no longer applies: EPI-RTE-title-cleanup supplies the distinct criterion, consumer and effect boundary, and the ledger and conclusion use it. These are current declaration changes, not supplied correction-answer dispositions. Neither requires selecting a stronger status or rewriting another report.
Memory's vector-encoding issue is an additional limit, not disagreement. MEM-OBJ-document-embeddings adds JSON and packed-float writers and differing decoder coverage beyond RT-RTE-mining-run. Binary-writer activation remains unresolved. EPI-RTE-numeric-selection assesses numerical selection, not universal decoder compatibility. These records establish neither active binary rows nor an observed decoding failure.
Wiki freshness findings converge independently. MEM-OBJ-wiki-articles and EPI-RTE-category-recompilation retain the SRC-1 kb/processors/wiki_compiler.py ID-set comparison. Additions/removals can select recompilation; same-ID text edits need not. This refines the unresolved invalidation scope in RT-RTE-wiki-compile, not an asserted universal invalidator. The comparison with EPI-CLM-staleness-tracking is a product-claim/implementation mismatch, not analyst disagreement. Entity-card lineage remains locally uninspected and does not inherit topic-article source linkage.
Withdrawal accounts converge on operational removal rather than refutation or universal erasure. MEM-RTE-item-withdrawal adds substrate-specific survivors, with MEM-OBJ-entities and MEM-OBJ-wiki-articles explaining counters, source associations and article text. Epistemic's unassessed cascade detail does not deny those findings. RT-RTE-backup-restore supplies a separate archive/manual-placement path, not semantic validation, coherent snapshotting or automatic purge after withdrawal.
Personalization preserves differing inspection scopes. MEM-RTE-history-selection directly assesses reason strings and recent-window exclusion; EPI-RTE-history-recommendation leaves reason-generation details unassessed. That uncertainty does not contradict the memory positives. Conditional chunk-source/knowledge-ID matching and cache bypass limit enhanced personalization separately from the recommendation endpoint. Neither record establishes benefit.
Workflow's annotations on RT-RTE-file-admission and RT-RTE-host-fallback independently corroborate staged admission and degraded indexing delivery. Its temporary-file handoff explains why original-URL provenance and article-level duplicate detection are not automatically retained. Memory's acquisition limits and epistemic's unknown source warrant are compatible with this account. Host fetch success and final user receipt remain unobserved; Local Brain does not acquire the host's tool grants by instructing their use.
Finally, RT-ABS-tool-dispatch is a bounded absence of an application model-tool dispatcher, not an absence of behavioral memory. Memory's trace-to-ranking route and epistemic's recommendation/centroid adaptation can coexist with that absence. All reports keep wiring, exercised behavior and demonstrated benefit separate. Uninspected remote parsers, entity-card details, remaining consumers/evaluators, expiry callers and provider internals limit conclusions; they establish neither further disagreements nor system-complete negatives about learning, reflection, autonomy or theory building.
